I am so happy I found this video. I purchased the pattern and was confused in places and was wondering how I was going to make it. Thanks for supplying the information I needed.
Thank you for sharing your video. I am just finishing the pattern myself and dipped in and out of your tutorial when I needed clarification. I am especially grateful for your tips on finishing at the end and so glad I watched to the end of your video before adding the final snaps - I'll take on board your comments before finishing off. Many thanks! Sherry from England, UK.
I so appreciated your efforts in making sure we get it right the first time. You were thorough, and easy to follow. Thanks a bunch. I have this on my "to do list" over the next couple of weeks. Love Spencer Ogg goodies.
@@sewbeitquilts Have you ever used Kraft-Tex? It's part fabric, part paper but you can iron it, sew it! Look up Kraft-Tex Notebook Tutorial with Jackie of Stitchin' Post. I couldn't find it or the mini composition notebooks local so had to order them, but made several for Christmas gifts :)
Lovely tutorial, thank you so much. And as mentioned, I appreciate that it's quick and to the point. It was, however, weird watching you when your eyes were to the right.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial Pam. I am sorry about the eyes. I haven't quite figured out where to look at my camera so it isn't weird for the viewer. Hopefully I will get it figured out!
Interesting that you didn’t add the wallet stiffener piece but it still seems like a nice firm wallet. Presumably using a firmer interfacing removes the need for the decovil light piece.
I did notice that when you open the wallet, one side of the credit card area is down. This is not the way I would want to have my credit cards open like. Do you think you can figure out a way for all the cards to open so they are not upside down? I would end up losing my credit cards for sure!! LOL Otherwise, I think I would want to buy this pattern. If you are Spencer can figure that out, then I for sure would buy this pattern. (Unless I would one before that time)
I understand your concern. I do think the extra side stitches placed along the slots will help keep the cards in pretty snug... but, no one wants to worry about losing credit cards. I think you could assemble the slots as the pattern shows, then instead of sewing the raw edge bottom of the card slots together sew one raw edge and one finished top edge together so they all face up. Then add some thin binding along the raw edge. I would probably add some binding the to the finished top edge too just for symmetry. Then baste it onto the card slot panel and sew down the middle as the pattern shows. I hope this made sense.

You're very welcome!
You really do a great job. Very cute and I really like your pattern choices.
Thank you so much!
Great tutorial, thanks! (Appreciate you not dragging it out for an hour +)
It’s hard. Takes a lot of planning and editing. Thanks for watching.
I really like this one. I may have to try and tackle it. Love the fabric.
You should! The fabric is from the Strawberry Fields line. Such beautiful fabric.
Can't wait to watch
Its a fun pattern to sew.
Turned out really cute
Thank you!
Great video! Thank you so much! Do you think it would be too thick if I used vinyl for the outside & quilt cotton for the inside?

It really just depends on the end result you want. Either way the wallet will look great. The stiffener will just add a little more structure.
Nice job
Thanks!
Bagstock has a new pattern called Selene. It would make a great tutorial!
I am thinking that would be a great one! I love their patterns!

I don't have much on there right now. I need to post some of my bags. Hopefully this week.
