This is AMAZING!! I wish this could be a series that you do! It’s so helpful bc there are so many non audible videos that are great, but no one explains things as clearly as you do even in some of the audible ones. 😉 can’t wait to make this wallet. It’s so great!
I follow Tendersmile also and several other non verbal sewing tutorials. I like so many of the videos each one, including you, has their own "saved" category on my RUclips! Maybe someday I will actually stop saving them and start making them. It's fun to dream...
For all the Christine fans out there…….. if you’re not already subscribed to her channel, please hit that subscribe button. She is so close to reaching that 100k goal. Let’s help her out!
Great tutorial! I’ll have to try this one too! total of 100 donation bags done. Just got home from picking up toothpaste. Now to pick them up and deliver. I really like all your projects and they are very useful too!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you Christine and Mum… a great wallet and as always clear concise instructions. I love the way you explain why you are doing certain steps as it makes sense and if we know why I think it helps us retain those steps in the overall process! You are a great teacher😊 Thank you again for sharing your knowledge I greatly appreciate it.❤
Thanks Mom. Christine, thanks for showing this darling wallet. I too watch a few designers from other countries who do not speak at all during the project construction. Some of my favorites I can follow the quilted designs, and others, as is with a more complex project, I just sigh... Thanks again
You have such clear instructions! Thank you. I have done a few projects, but zippers scare me 😂. I haven’t ever changed a presser foot. 🤷🏻♀️ is that something you might be able to show?
Another great video. We tried it with vinyl. Although it was totally doable, I am not happy with it as it doesn’t sit nice and flat so I will give it a go with some decovil to give it the stiffness I was after. Thanks again 😊
Good morning Aussie girl Greetings from cold and almost snowy Pacific NW It’s about 3 AM here. No wait a minute 4 AM always a good time to watch a tutorial. @@ChristinesHomeAffairs well, we want to set people up for success, and I belong to a Facebook group for both of my machines actually three of my machines and you would be surprised or would not be surprised how many questions come up about needles so I do think it’s extremely important to put that information in there You probably don’t have time to watch other RUclips channels, but Vanessa who has the channel called “the crafty Gemini” She is one of the few that will actually tell you stitch length and needle type and sometimes will talk about thread. Oh Christine, i love this project you make it look so easy. It turned out really well. Do you think that it would be ok to use decovil stabiliser on the outer fabric just to make it firmer or would it be too hard to turn at the end? Thanks again.😊
I think I'd prefer it with the Decovil too Janet, but thought it might be too stiff. It would help if you made the opening for turning through a lot bigger. let me know if that works😀
It's funny Lucille, in all my videos I have fractions for Americans. As this was from tendersmile's video, I used same measurements. I found it difficult converting her measurements, so left as is. I'll definitely be sticking with my own format 😊

I have the same problem with measurements Cathy and you've also just answered a question for me. As mentioned in the video, this is the same as Tendersmiles video, so used her measurements. I always use fractions, and should have done it here. Fractions for card slots are 3½, 2⅛,1¾.
I love this but got very confused at mid stage and have given up. First time ever that I’ve struggled with one of your videos. I just struggled with the after adding the zip part

Thanks Linda. All my videos have inches in them except this one where I thought I might have been too repetitive. The fabric measurements have inches in the list though. Will stick to my usual format in the next video though😀
Thanks Mary. I have the same problem, and you've also answered a question for me. As mentioned in the video, this is the same as Tendersmiles video, so used her measurements. I always use fractions in my videos, and should have done it here. Fractions for card slots are 3½, 2⅛,1¾.
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs I was wanting the finished outside dimensions. I’m trying to see if it will fit in a small crossbody I have already made. I really like the design and your instructions are excellent! Thanks!

or simply divide those metric #s by 2.54 to get an inch measurement
