I have really enjoyed everything you have put out so far. It’s a shame Deere doesn’t put out machines that can handle more workloads. Deere customers are tired of having to do upgrades to make tractors actually work. Thanks for all you do! Looking forward to your other new products like the 1.750 hydraulic cylinders for the loaders.
At "10:20--10:50" when you're talking about the new black line rubbing against the stock silver line. . . . a feller can take a piece of old radiator hose say 5"--6" inches long, cut it to size to fit around that "rubbing issue" section of the black lines, then zip tie the hose closed so it stays where it is supposed to in that general area. . .just a thought!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Really like this solution for the rear hydraulic top link and the combination of the two. One question though. Is there a manual ball valve that could be installed at the rear quick connect? This would allow faster cycle times if you kept the grapple on the tractor and "from the seat control" when you wanted the rear hydraulics.
I may be seeing this wrong & please correct me if so, but it appears to me that if you have the setup with tees for both rear & loader hoses as shown you would have to remove the hoses going to the rear from the tees & then also remove the loader hoses with the tees from the 3rd function block on the tractor in order to remove the loader. Is it possible to assemble this with the tees on the hoses from the rear of the tractor so that all one would have to do is remove the loader lines from the tees to remove the loader? It seems to me like that would save time & hassle for those that remove the loader often for mowing or whatever. This would also allow leaving the rear hoses plugged in if you wanted to run something off the rear without the loader. It's awesome that you've stepped into this niche to help folks get more from these tractors. Keep up the great work.
I love it. You are correct, but I think I will have to reorient the tee because the space it limited. Thanks for the idea and please send an email to kevin@hydrosplus.com for a small token of my appreciation for sharing that idea!
Looks like another awesome product Kevin! Do you know if the simultaneous kit will fit with the SPHC installed? Real estate is really limited down there by the loader mount.
The short answer is that I don't know yet. I originally designed it to fit with the single point based on pictures since I don't have one, but a few changes (realizations) occurred during the process. I know it will work, but I'm not sure if the hoses I supply will be long enough. I'm playing catch up from being out on vacation, but will look at it soon and report back.
I'm new to the tractor world and hydraulics. I recently bought a 2022 1025r. I had the dealer install a Curtis advantage cab, as well as the OEM 3rd function with a grapple purchase. I'm contemplating a rear 3 point snow blower. Would this rear 3rd function + be used to operate the snow blower chute control back and forth 180 degrees? How about the deflector up/down? Also, would this conflict with any warrantee issues that you are aware of? Thanks for any input
I'm not aware of any warranty concerns with the 3rd function+, but any change you make to the tractor...whether it's this, light bulbs, wheel spacers, etc. can "technically" affect warranty, but I think the worry is very low for those examples. If you have the OEM 3rd function, this will connect easily and give you a single hydraulic SCV port on the rear. It is a dual action port, so whatever you hook to it will be able to move both directions and continuously if you hold the button or make a change to keep the circuit open.
So I am entering the conversation at the end here. Sorry. What 3rd function are you connecting to. I like your clean install at the rear. That’s the look I want. I’m missing all the things you have done up to this point. All I would ever use is a hydraulic top link.
That is the front 3rd function port. Its a Deere kit. The valve for it is under the floorboard. Deere also has a rear 3rd function manual valve that mounts on the ROPS but its not compatible with the rear power beyond hose loop that backhoe tractors need.
You and I are in the same boat. I really only need it for the hydraulic top link, but I could see a offset flail mower that uses a hydraulic cylinder to shift being in my future. That's why the single outlet works for me and this simplifies and gives me more bang for my buck on the $1200 3rd function.
I don't offer a top link. I might reconsider, but when I did look into it, I couldn't offer it for cheaper than what you can get on Amazon and honestly, theirs was a little better because it had the hanger. Here's the one in the video - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JGM9QN7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I haven't tested this yet, but I believe it should fit the same or better based on how the new hard lines going to the single point are oriented. More info coming soon.
The hydraulic oil measurement is a range, so it depends on where you are in that range. It will take a little fluid to fill the lines, but if those lines are 50 inches long each, it would take less than 1/5 of a quart of fluid to fill them...so not too much.
@@HydrosPlus thanks for replying. As soon as I actually order my tractor, I will be ordering this from you. I been back and forth with my sales guy about 5 times in the last few months. I cant seem to get a day off and head down to the dealer and "close the deal" This is actually my only reason for wanting the 3rd function. I am hoping a hydraulic top link helps me over the learning curve of using a box blade.

Scuts scattered around the lawn like Garden Gnomes...😃
Nice job installing your functions 👍

You could do this, but space is an issue. It would probably be just as easy to turn around and pop one of the quick connects lose.

Do you have a top link cylinder for 2025R

How well does this fit with the 1025r 2023 model with the new hardlines?

how much does it cost?? i think i want one with the T's on it where i could use top link & the grapple together

Great video like how you didn't hide the mistakes. Will this fit a 2012 1026R
I would like to hide the mistakes, but that requires video editing, which I don't love to do :)
This will fit the 1026R. Sorry that I didn't see the second part of you comment earlier. I was probably checking on my phone and overlooked it.
do you have to add any hydraulic oil?

Nice. Great idea. I doubt I would be using both at the same time. I would be very interested in this.
