i was needing a mullins fix going into the new chasing season. Always great to listen to Willie, such a gentleman and full of racing and horse knowledge very clear in what he has to say and what can we say about him going forward just more winners more records. Good luck Willie, all the luck in the world lets make more history.
What a sportsman, I was at Downpatrick races in Sept and accidentally collided with Patrick Mullins as I walked past the parade ring, thinking I was clumsy I apologised , not even realising who I’d bumped into, he was so nice about it and a complete gent. Great establishment the Mullins and May they continue to soar🙏🏻
@@musicmike1972 yes seen that alright, some of the posts are actually funny. At this point I'd rule nothing out when it comes to Martha, total fruit and nut bar.
@@frankelforever14 P.S Rebel and I are on Matata and Royal Mer in 2:25 and Fiercely Proud and Here Comes Georgie in the 4:45. That's between our combined thinking although we know Royal Mer might need soft ground. All at Cheltenham.
the other day i was just thinking about the same as willie, a horse who wins graded flat, wins hurdles, and chases then even goes back on the lfat for me finding one of those is the pinnacle of racing and the thoroughbred, so finding one of them is what willie would really want. He's in that stage of his trainer career he wants those unique horses and he's getting them more and more.
Willie was on about Ballyburn v Slade Steel there. Mystical Power would've won the Supreme had Slade Steel gone Ballymore. Ballyburn would've blitzed Slade Steel then like he did at the DRF
It will be interesting to see what Willie makes of his French 3 year old recruits , as none stick out as special , but what do I know , I’m not the genius trainer .
Sounds very likely that willie is going to have a crack at constitution hill at Cheltenham, more for his own/our pleasure and entertainment than nothing else....a man of the people at the top of his game who knows exactly what he has with a top top mare in Lossiemouth. This mare will turn over CH should she go to the Champion Hurdle, do the right thing willie!!
Be My Royal won the 2002 Hennessy at Newbury and was subsequently disqualified after a dope test picked up traces of morphine believed to have come from contaminated horse feed. Pity this interview on RTV didn't last a lot longer as it was really interesting.
Hes had at least one other. Bumper at Punch i think it was and his friends at IHRB let him keep the race. He also had a horse with a puncture wound once but again no action was taken. Then there was the time his vet got caught with stuff at his yard and IHRB bent over backwards to say it didnt involve Willie @@MarkLeggatt-m5j
@elizabethgalligan1805 I know he is irish, i actually know him , his parents and the rest of his siblings . As we say in Ireland he only lives around the corner .

I want to meet this great man
It is not difficult to train Good horses. Just get them fit, and place them right.
Great interview, much better content than those repeated polls
Abdul enjoyed it too from his bedroom in Nottingham 😂.
@@musicmike1972 😂😂😂
Did you see that clueless is being trolled by Martina Lewis? 🤔. Either that or he has gone completely mad, both of which are credible theories 😂.

Lossiemouth is the only horse capable of doing all 3
Who were the women yaking in the background? Should have had the door sealed.
Some man👏🏻

Spot on
I wonder if the filly was Lossiemouth? 🤔
Great interview with Willie.
Wish he had just touched on the Melbourne Cup runners ?
Can someone tell me the name of the Filly he was on about please lol
Must be a juvenile that's starting out.

Doubt it. CH is a beast. If he's back to his best nothing is beating him
Anyone know if mullins has ever had a horse fail a drug test? Been trying to find out if he's ever had a horse fail

Great man
Lewis you absolute 🤡 #FreeAbdul
Luck is a joke. More people need to start seeing through him. Hes supposed to be a journalist not the best friend of all the participants.
And the bosses at racing tv should stop him being a william.hill ambassador. Its a massive conflict of interest.
Didn't know he was British because he doesn't sound British.
He's Irish!!!
