Richard Johnson is the consummate jockey, the consummate professional, and just the consummate gentleman. How can anyone have a bad word to say about him. You deserve a wonderful retirement Richard, and thank you for all you have done for racing. Do not under estimate what you have achieved. Every one in racing wishes you the best!
can somebody explain me why he is allowed to be 11 st in weight? i mean i always through jockeys are around 8st in weigh is it different for jump racing? :)
Very late reply but jump racing has very lenient weight requirements whereas flat is very strict. I've been struggling with my weight a lot, thinking of switching to jump
He earns well because like them all they are bent and put the bookies interests first, and they in return look after the trainers and jockeys, anyone who thinks this game is straight needs help.
@@mickharrison9004 Jesus the racings bent brigade get on my nerves,I didn't say it is or isn't the fact is he has a nice house and earns well,if my horse wins I'm buzzing if it loses I'm not that's gambling stop moaning just because you might have a few losers it's pure luck not skill,I was one horse away from a 7 winner super heinz that would of paid £1000 today and a 4/6 horse was the loser beaten by a 25/1 shot,that's gambling

@@butcherexx79thank you for reply! Even though I was asking long ago but it was still helpful!
Always sat in my bed at night, gazed into the stars via the sunroof, and wondered what championship jockey's do on a daily basis.

@Toni Caso well said
Not for me always fell or never tried
So does he have a driver or was this Sky Sports chauffeuring? I think we should have been told.
No seat belts in the people carrier? After the first morning workout on the way to Lingfield?
Maybe because it's breaking the law and dangerous?
@Toni Caso and?
Should have furnished a translator,jeez.
Don’t even know how this is still a sport lol
