- How to eliminate peep twist in your compound bow? Get rid of the peep! Today we show you the very basic process of shooting your bow without a peep sight, utilizing IQ bowsights retina lock technology. This method only requires a kisser button and an IQ sight, there are no other attachments needed (such as a hind sight). This is a super easy and simple process!

Yep. This all makes a ton of sense. Shot no peep growing up and was a good shot. Came back into archery a few years ago and been playing the peep game. But it slows everything down too much.
Great ! It looks really good! Keep up the excellent work!
I got into archery back in 2000. I learned with a no-peep, and it was so natural. In fact, when i upgraded my bow, the new one came with a peep, and I never could get used to it.
I’m sure IQ sight is a good sight but not required to go peepless. Using a secondary anchor like a kisser button is essential. I love shooting peepless, forces a very consistent anchor points. Great video and suggestion.
Thanks!
Thank you
You didn’t really explain what a retina lock is? Or how that correlates to aiming at a target?
You adjust the device they call a retina lock so you see a dot inside a circle when at full draw and proper anchor point. The dot will not be inside the circle when there is variation in anchor or grip. This make you more consistent.
Dot is at one end of optical glass and circle is at the other end. Optic magnification makes the device sensitive to movement even though dot and circle are not spaced far apart. I use to run a No-Peep device. Same concept.
I am 13 and it is the best thing I’ve ever done I’ve shot it for 2 years and I am so consisntabd
Yeah iv been slinging arrows pretty well without anything but the old fashioned metal pins on a bear whitetail 2 , coke cans out to 60 yards consistently , i didnt know what a peep was untill 10 years after id trashed the bow . But a consistant hold is always key . I used a twist of white cotton around the string as a ref point ( i thought id invented something ) 😂😂
I first started out without a peep without a problem except everybody telling me I need to get a peep
Would you recommend doing this now? My peep has always twisted to the point I can’t hold a raw because it will keep twisting til it’s blocking my sight. Opening day is October 1st.
Yes but I’d do it by the end of next week and practice practice practice!!!
What's your opinion on the hindsight, perry's no peep, and peep eliminator for non IQ bowsights?
I have a bow setup with a Perry’s no peep. It’s a well built piece of equipment and it works and not hard to get used too. I just setup a second now with a EZV sight no peep I just have to put a nose button or kisser button and practice some more but at 20 I was grouping tight already. Peepless is the way to go for hunting unless you’re shopping longer distances over 50/60 yds I would think.
Yes having no peep is the best because you don’t have to search for it & if you ever hunt at night like in Texas you don’t see it anyway plus it just gets in the way & I have a trophy ridge sight on my bow
do you need a dove tail on the sight or not necessary?
not necessary
I have been shooting with out peep for 20 years it is fast to get on target
I started shooting peerless when I went to an EZ V sight. I missed the retna lock when I quit using my IQ bowsight. Someone else who shoots the EZ V Bowsight recommended the Anchor Bow Sight along with the EZ V Bowsight and the Anchor Bow Sight takes the place of the retna lock on the IQ Bowsight. So, now I'm peepless.
Could you produce a video of this set-up? I have been looking at the EZ V sight for some time. I have a single pin slider, because I cannot use multi-pin sights. Too much going on. I also hate peep sights.
@@hunterlawrence7228 ok, I'll get on it.
I'm 65 and have shot without a peep my hole life from age 16 to now
I have shot target with peeps on and off but for hunting no peep is great low light no problem. I use a HHA single pin now and have always used a kisser button. This all probably seems foreign to most but a one comment read was oyimpiens have never used one. It's just what is pushed for more immediate accuracy for new comers. You can also shoot quite well at 50 60 yds
Can you her sight tapes for your sight
Yes you can put sight tapes in this sight.
Our opening day is october 1st
Get a decent string and don't tie in the peep where the string splits.Just tie around the peep.No more peep twist
Wish I woulda seen this two years ago. Just bout the iq sight after seeing this. Missed a shot at a nice 8 because of low light… never again.
Ck out Perrys No Peep
Perry’s nopeep
I never get good shot with peep
