Naked Eyes era antes una miniserie británica emitida a finales de 1983. Luego de eso se convirtió en una banda. La miniserie cuenta la historia de dos jovenes que aspiraban llegar a formar su banda en Londres pero atravezaron por diversas pruebas y dificultades para sobrevivir y vencer. Hubo un episodio en donde aparecian trabajando en la mansión Chessapike en Bath como anfitriones y recepcionistas juntando su salario para comprar sus equipos para música. Y eso lo usaron para su video clip What in the name of love en Agosto de 1984.
