I’m in love with the 70, 80 and 90’s music and that’s thanks to my dad (he’s from the 90’s, 1973 to be exact, while I’m from the 2000’s, 2002 to be exact). All the music he listens to is so perfect!! Wish I was born at this age, so i would remember this hits ❤ This band is absolutely amazing, just as The Pet Shop Boys, Blur, Bronski Beat, Haddaway, Donna Summer, Tina Turner, Depeche Mode, New Order, Duran Duran, Modern Talking, Technotronic, The Backstreat Boys and more I love the most from this time!! I’m so proud to love this kind of music even if it’s not from my timeline (I’m from the 2000’s, 2002 to be exact)🙂↕️👊🏻🎵✨
I finally found it! I remember recording this off the radio in the 90s and could never find it again! Never knew who sang it for 25 plus years! Finally!
I remember the first time I’ve heard it in a night club in Houston, TX. It was the summer of 1993.That was, and still is of the kind of hits that takes you like a hurricane. Almost 30 years later and this tune still reminiscing the best of our lives.
Nice song! One of my favorites. You can tell the influence from New Order and Depeche Mode in the introduction and the rythm. Music that won't go away.
I remember hearing them back in the late 80's or 90's on the radio. I'm so glad I finally rediscovered them. I love Euro synth. I grew up listening to Depeche, Eurasue, Yazoo, Pet Shop Boy's, and Sting on cassette. This brings back memories of my teen years. Thank you

Who's still listening in 2019? This brought back memories. Saw them live in club in Bay Area. Remember sneaking in with my older friends (actually the bouncer didn't care, haha). We were in front row; they were within an arm's length! Completely in shock when I heard Sean passed away. Couldn't listen to their songs for awhile after that. Yep, I fell that hard for him back then. If you like this song, check out Another Minute from them.
Yo acabo de encontrarla usando MusixMatch ya que también escucho Boogie Nights y preciso anoche grabe todo el programa con el celular. Creí q eran depeche mode. tengo una playlist de Boogie Nights para evitar trasnocharme. escuchala. ;)
First time I heard this on the radio, I quickly hit the record button on my tape deck, thinking it was a new track by Depeche Mode LOL I always loved it and never heard it played again, but I had it on tape :)
Incredible synth-pop group, unfortunately not many people know this group. I hope their albums are all added to streaming sites currently a pain to find most.
Still listening in 2020. I was a huge fan of Depeche Mode and someone recommended Cause and Effect's CD to me. I had never heard of them but I bought the CD anyways, blind. I still treasure the CD to this day, almost 30 years later. These guys had so much more to give. A loss for fans. RIP, Sean.
I found it in April looking for music that sounded similar to “Simple Minds” and 80’s techno and it brought this up and I have it on my Apple Library and couldn’t imagine if it didn’t exist. I’ve been listening to the whole album like crazy ☺️

I’m not sure if anyone is going to believe me or not, but frankly I don’t really care. Buy anyways, my mom dated one of the guys in this band, I’m not familiar with them but it’s the lead guy or whatever. I just thought it was cool, and they’re still online friends today and he wishes her a happy birthday every year so that’s pretty cool. Also the song “Overdose,” was written for my mom. Just a cool fact believe me or don’t lmao.
I had this album on heavy rotation when I was 18 in 1994. If Michael Hutchence of INXS had a baby with Roland Orzabal of tears for fears and the voice of David Gahan of Depeche Mode.
They’re too busy on their phones watching those 60 second videos. They’ve no idea what a good song or book is like because they use social media not for educational value in my opinion. People like you are very rare 🙂 This is great to me! I can’t stop listening to this or “The Beginning of the End.” I’m currently reading the V.C. This is definitely Depeche Mode’s twin band! Seen them in 1991 in Dallas. Love them!
i actually thought they were them when i first heard the song came out back in 91
Dallas club scene in 90's was awesome.
I heard This song only once 22 years ago and today I am Glad I found It again . Great tune💖

Cause n Effect- Every single song on this album is really good. I used to own this on cassette tape. I Love this album.❤
When I 1st heard the song on the radio when it was out I thought it was a new Depeche Mode song. His voice was so familiar with Dave Gahan.

Like Children
Rarely seen and never heard
Emotion
Bare your soul you'll never learn
But don't ask why
And you won't get lied to
Speak to them softly
It's something you get used to
(Chorus)
You Think you know Her
But you never really
Lived a life without her
Couldn't tell me
The things she said
The books she read
The way she looked when the morning came
The time of night that you held her tight
But you'll never forget the day she ran away
I found her all alone lost in a crowd
When she saw me
I felt so much I cryed aloud
She turned away
I couldn't speak to stop her
The only sound I heard
Was the echo of her laughter
Chorus
The books she read
The way she looked when the morning came
The time of night that you held her tight
But you'll never forget the day she ran away
Repeat To Fade
