I'd love to see a LP with a sim going through a full career, preferably from Get to Work. For an extra challenge, get a degree through University first. And then that person has to get to the top of their career before dying of old age. It seems basic, but with your storytelling I think you'd have enough freedom with their personal life to go crazy with drama. Classic and straightforward, with space to be creative. 🙂

you don’t need to remove the ceiling when you’re doing skylight, because when you put the glass roof texture it removes it automatically and it doesn’t look so odd from the inside. 💓💕

When I do a babies room I use the debug nappies stack them up and get out the bottles put them on a dresser to look like a change table. Put tissues on there to look like wipes and just look in debug because they do have other items in there that look like creams for babies and i put the sponge in the bathroom debug is great.

Usually when you place a glass roof the ceiling will cut itself out. Deleting the roof like that made it to where there was no ceiling at all in that room so even the stove fan piece was floating.

Yes my parents did that exact thing when they had me. They added another door on the other end of their walk in wardrobe, and they’ve filled it back in now.

It’s a starter home, they’re not supposed to look the best. The point is to earn money to renovate them. If you want a great looking house, move into a more expensive one like Pier Palace from Windenburg.

I like the idea of having a doorway between a baby room and master bedroom, but instead of boarding it up, it would make more sense to add a door with a lock and just keep it permanently locked once the kid grows up and needs privacy. That way, if you sell the house, the next family can just remove the door and use it again.

To the archway question about the babyroom! For the first almost two years of my niece's life she lived in the master bedroom's walk in closet, that was just open via an archway. Because the next closest bedroom was on the entire other side of the house. It had room for her toddler bed when she was over the crib life and they kept it decorated super cute. It was so pretty and all I could think was - how easy! Because early on when she was little and had a hard time sleeping through the night it was just, nice to have her close. So.. I think its normal!

As far as a door/archway into the baby room, I think its a great idea. I have a jack and jill bathroom between my room and the nursery that I just keep open so I can easily walk between the rooms at night and it's very convenient.

Beautiful renovation! Way better than that bland shoe box it was before! I always get a bit frustrated when I make new sims and only use the money they make so I only have those cheap and bland house options when they start out. I'm so unimpressed with the ones available that I usually go to an empty lot and build with what my Sim has rather than starting out in one of these but I'll definitely download this one and use it for my games! Archway bedrooms are popular in NYC. I have a 1.5 bedroom apartment in Brooklyn. The junior bedroom is connected to mine from an archway. I use it as a guest bedroom/my hedgehogs room. My neighbors upstairs use it as a nursery 💕

Something that I do in my game, which is done in Korea a lot (I’m Korean fyi lol), is I just keep the bassinet in my room. Irl, the baby would stay even past infancy sometimes until they’re maybe preschool/kindergarten age but toddlers get separate room in my game. Age stages in the game are understandably limiting (are you 8 or 10 as a child? Lol) so it’s fun to try to figure out how to overlap traditions and more realism into the game
