What if we got a stuff pack with literally just stuff. Like matching furniture or cabinets, or new paint swatches or even windows

For Deli:
*THE ULTIMATE SIMS BUILD CHALLENGE*
Rules: You must build a house for 8 sims, it can not end up looking like a box (or rectangle) and must include at least one toddler room, one child room, and one teen oriented room (use your imagination as to what that entails as far as decorations and uses are concerned). Each of those *must* be separate rooms. Your build has a total budget of $100,000-$300,000 simoleons (it must cost a minimum of $100,00 but cannot exceed $300,000) This does not include the cost of the lot which can be over budget if desired (as in the build ends up being $300,000 but the lot puts it closer to say $320,000 or something).
Before starting the build, you must decide which packs you will use. You are allowed to use the base game and ONE expansion pack, ONE game pack, and TWO stuff packs. All of which must be chosen through a random generator.
For each room you must spin a wheel to determine what colour to use. You may only use that colour for the entirety of the room (with the exception of bathroom or kitchen material that do not exist in said colour at which point you may use the colour you feel is closest. And doors/windows may be of normal colour and are excluded from the rules of the colour portion of this challenge). You may *not* use the colours White, Black, or Brown on the inside of the house (except as mentioned above; doors and windows).
When the colour is chosen every item in that room must be made either entirely by or the majority of it is that specific colour.
**If you end up using the laundry day pack you must include a laundry room and out door wash bucket and clothes line
**If using seasons you must include a garden, fireplace, and thermostat
**If using vampires, at least one coffin must be included and the build must have a basement or attic it can be placed in
**If using island living you must place the build by a body of water
**If using cats and dogs the build must be pet friendly and include items for both cats and dogs (if drawn you can build a house for six sims instead of eight)
**If using movie hangout a space must be allotted for an indoor or outdoor movie theatre with a screen and enough chairs for the sims living in the house (so 8)
You have to have a bin in the kitchen as well (don’t forget the bin).
Hope you see this, I think this could be really fun while simultaneously challenging!!

When you were talking about the Discovery University windows, I was thinking about how most universities in American have SOOOO many styles going on in them because they tend to have buildings from literally every era on their campuses because the schools have been around so long. It totally doesn't make sense, but that's actually pretty accurate to real life, which is kind of fun. :)

It's hard, not too hard but complicated nevertheless. I managed to build it and submit it on time though.
Deli, when you decide to cut the footage of the floorplan, could you add a couple of seconds of the empty/near empty shell before you really furnish so we can get a visual of the space.

I have this vision of this shell being a modern beach house. Then I remembered that we can't use terrain tools in Sulani.

I was watching Tazkabaz's stream earlier on twitch and someone mentioned you saw her shell and clipped it and sent it in the chat and when she saw the clip she got really happy and excited that you liked her shell.
I absolutely LOVE when you build in a more classical style, this is GORGEOUS! I personally think the builds you do in this style are your best ones. Like the last mansion you built for the barbie lp (rip), that one was also amazing. But I love your modern builds too! The classics are just my favorite
On the topic of your friends having all colour-coordinated bedrooms, my cousins had/have that too! My cousin Sara's bedroom is all in shades of green, and my cousin Morgan's bedroom is all in shades of purple. From the walls to the curtains to the paintings in the room, everything has a purple or a green theme. I always thought it was so cool.
I appreciate cc cabinets that don't stick out as far as the counters. EA makes them so deep, but realistically they're supposed to be shallow like the ones in this build.
Sims should release a pack only with kitchen items, that could be cool, and then add all the pieces for a kitchen. I love this challenge, is very unique and you could like a goddess. This is beautiful 😍.
I actually like the counters in the expansions, it's the overhead cabinets I don't use because I don't like them.
I knew that's the direction she would go with the staircase! I seen her struggling with a regular L shape, I thought adding in another direction would help her, glad to see she figured it out.
I think it turned out really well I like it a lot....I like shell challenges too as they help me to break out of my build habits and explore other ways of building in sims and solving problems that then develops my skills in building.
I am so impressed. Kate Emerald is a wizard and you did her shell justice!

What a fantastic job Deli! I couldn’t see the traditional route at first but as soon as I saw the roofs, windows, and columns, it clicked. Stunning! Kudos to you, and the shell builder.
I love this build. It's very similar to my own aesthetic. I adore the classic style, and I also love French Provincial, which I would love to see you try to do. Your building talent is through the roof, Deli.

There is a pack for kitchens called "Simple Kitchen" i'm not sure who it's by, but i use it all the time and i love it so much
It looks beautiful! I don't know how you were able to fit in so many bedrooms though. I could only fit in 3, and that's including the basement

Deli, can you upload your houses to your website as well, like James does? I know players that, like me, have some problems with the gallery in game. Online features can lag the game a lot, especially in low end PCs :(. Love your videos!

Deli roofing that shell like it was nothing convinced me that might be her superpower
Building challenge: go to the spriters resource, enter a random game and chose a house graphic, for example Earthbound. Then you chose random rooms from other games, for example Minish Cap, Ghost Trick, Tales of Destiny, etc. Try fitting all necessary rooms into the house and they must be fully functional.
I feel like deli should use this build in a let's play inspired by like the real housewives or something. That would be really cool because I have been missing deli's lets plays because they are so good!!!!!

I did the shell challenge.
I did the basement room as a guest room... and it had exterior stairs because I couldn't get them to fit and not take up a lot of space in the middle of the room.
I had the front door where you initially had it... and they had to walk past the pool to get there.
The floor plan was hard to do... which is why the basement area has no interior stairs. I started putting the kitchen where you had it and couldn't get it to work, so it switched sides and my kitchen/dinning room when to where you moved the front door to. Other than the guest room, I just made one bedroom, a large bathroom and office on the upper floor. No children. I didn't want them too small. 😞

Hello! ILY. Two things: Can you do more challenges for us viewers where you show some of them in a video afterwards? You highlighted my lot once and I am still humbled all this time later.
And also, here's some challenge ideas for you: build a house where half the rooms are on the diagonal. Build the house that Jack built-where there are several extensions added that look out of place and don't quite mesh. (Inspired by a real house I have been to) build a house where each room as to have exactly one diagonal wall. Build a house where you roll the dice to determine the swatches. When not in lockdown, give us a tour of a real life house for sale or display home, then build it's equivalent in the Sims from memory /without the footage and floor plan in front of you, then rewatch to see how close you got it.

Speaking of stage 4 lockdown my favorite coffee shop went drive through only and I was not having it today. I did fit the ambulance in it though and got my coffee.
I know that you were concerned about uploading builds from your stream but the way you did this turned out really well. I hope you continue doing this.

I would've made it a villa, but like you said sort of vintage like :) you know in those stereotypical Mexican movies and their builds are very circle like? It was giving me those type of villa vibes or even a Greece mansion :)

This shell is so hard. Kudos Deli for completing it. Although I remember Kate specifically saying not to alter anything that is downloaded from the gallery, so I'd say you were disqualified the moment you touched those wall height tabs😂.
Wall heights are allowed tho, she said they can be changed

I know this is an old video (going back watching build videos to try to get better at building) and just wanted to let Deli and anyone else interested know that Ravasheen has an amazing mod for curtains called Window Shopping Modular Curtains. It has segments of curtain rods so they fit over any window and you can choose the type and color of curtain on each rod from live mode. It makes curtains so much easier!
Loved how it turned out! Maybe you and James should try and make shells for each other to furnish etc!
Girl you aren't kidding this is hard. I love a good challenge but this is aggravating me especially if I can't move things. I know the challenge is a month old. I love building things and never do these sorts of things. But after watching this last night I had to try it.

Discover University has seemingly random windows and doors for the simple fact that so many universities are quite old, and as a result when buildings have been added on campus they often were done in the contemporary style of the day. Because of this you'll have a great many different architectural styles clustered onto one university campus. I don't think I've ever seen a uni campus that didn't have a variety of styles in its buildings. It's the same as in any city, especially in the downtown area, where building styles are many and varied, according to when each was constructed and what the popular style was at the time.

I just feel so peaceful watching deli, I also finally got the Sims! There is so much I can do haha, I want to do it ALL in one night!
The curtain issue is really dump. Its not like the sim can open it or do anything with it. Its just decorative, but you have a hell of a time putting them on a widow or doors. The sliding option is a good idea.
Really enjoyed this video!! This is not my style either but you pulled it off so beautifully I loved to watch :)
