please create the debug houses! you could do a whole series in Newcrest
in debug or live edit there should be the bed from the eco pack you can find by dumpster diving, it costs 25 simoleons, it would save some money
Rags to riches idea: you start with the fake debug house and work up to actually buiding it
James turner did something similar to this in his dream decorator rag to riches series

You could have saved money on the walls by using roofing instead! If they're high enough sims can go under them! Maybe that could be another challenge? The pretty black house from the ecol lifestyle debug had rounded roof, so maybe we could had an extension to it for cheap, using round roofing ? (plus they work better when round since there is even more space under them. I will say they are a bit hard to decorate tho).
I still consider this as part of your winning streak, cause when I saw the thumbnail and picture I was blown away! Haha! Maybe the eco lifestyle double bed in debug is even cheaper? (But it takes up more space, so you’d need a bigger room…)

Townhouse but connected to the debug houses on either side 😮 so you’re family really only uses the one townhouse 😊
Those deco houses and the small room could be super cool for storytelling purposes. Maybe the Sim living there has a garden apartment or stays in a guest house. This way, you don't have to pay rent for a full house when you only use one room for storytelling anyway.
It would be really cool to see if you tried building the debug houses as a build challenge
You can use roof pieces for free walls and the debug bed from Eco lifestyle is only 25 but I didn’t realize the cooler functions just like a fridge/chair combo!

Instead of walls, you could put down the floor things then "build a ceiling" and put a roof or whatever on that. Completely free.
I feel like using debug is cheating, especially for the whole house 😂
Challenge: No cheats, no debug. Cheapest lot/build possible. Fully functional. But: you don’t have to use walls!
I used to make my sims “communal lots”, they only had a bathroom with walls and slept under shelters, grew their own food and had an open/outdoor kitchen and an entertainment area😂

I dont think I've ever used a mirror or wardrobe to change my sims appearance/outfit. I always just change outfit selecting them or cas. i love this little backyard house, its so cute for a little rags to riches story! I want it.
I dont have the Del Sol world to use the free lot hack but I swear that waterfall behind it is inspired from one in Portland Oregon =)

this "cheap" house would cost me at least $20 (because i don't have Get Famous! haha) and i don't plan to get it any time soon... but these ideas could be used in a non-free lot!
