I'm more concerned with how Apple's *5,000* patent claims on a device that's primarily derivative of existing tech will affect the industry. Apple isn't really known as an honorable competitor.
PSVR 1 didn't support 3D blu-rays at launch either, it was patched in about 5 months later. Hopefully it gets added to PSVR 2 as well. 3D movies aren't as big of a thing right now, but with Apple partnering with Disney for some Vision Pro content, hopefully there are more such partnerships and 3D movies become more common again. I got a handful of them to play with PSVR 1 and they were great even on that low res screen. They'd be fantastic on PSVR 2
You missed grimlord!! I’m a big souls-games fan and played the early access of the game released on steam, the game is really good and captures the atmosphere nicely! Has a lot of potential and most of the game should be completed this year according to the devs I believe.
Good video, keep'em coming. I think you missed Breachers, supposedly a good "we have R6 Siege at home", and from upcoming games Crossfire Sierra Squad which in a shocking twist turned out to not be a PSVR2 exclusive.
Breachers is a great game! I don't know what its numbers actually are, but I'm pretty sure it's taking its place among Pavlov, Contractors, etc and taking over a significant section of PvP VR gamers.
I dont understand. If pimax isnt pushing FOV anymore wy would anyone want to buy them. Its literally the only thing the pimax headsets was good for. high fov for a lover price than its competitors with similar fov
Pimax currently is leading the market in VR visual with Crystal..... Pimax more than FOV now, they just need more experience and that will happen over time.... Also 12K is coming, Pimax confirmed this multiple times but it seems like they waiting for RTX 5000 series to reach
I agree. I think Pimax should have stayed with wide FOV and concentrated on the 12K. The company has grown substantially, but instead of using those additional resources to release a good solid polished wide FOV VR headset on time, they've again bit off more than they can chew by branching out into multiple simultaneous products which are consequently all late and janky. And these other products are entering areas where they will be up against heavy competition. The Crystal is going to have an uphill battle against the Bigscreen Beyond. Whereas the 12K would have been releasing into a market with no competition for it.
@@SargonDragon Bro I have Crystal + have Arpara 5K which on on paper equal to bigscreen beyond and it's no comparison.... Crystal by far better.... Meta still hasn't fixed their PC streaming issues. I do not recommend getting a Quest 3 because the latest problems with the 2 have made it unplayable.
Excellent video as always. I am always baffled at people who say there is a dearth of VR content. I am glad to see more games adopting my favourite type of VR locomotion, "hand-walking". I'm just sad that everyone attributes this to Gorilla Tag (or Lone Echo if they are more knowledgeable), and not to the VR game that truly pioneered this locomotion and still does it best: Lucid Trips.
Someone needs to bite the bullet and make a cyber punk VR world and digital visual internet. Also I think certain kinds of animated VR, is of better use due to the current limitations of VR visually. With the right cartoonish like look, it could look really amazing. OR just build the new internet in the lowfi engine.
honestly asgards wrath was not nearly as good as i was expecting. i didnt get too far into the game though. i am very critical of voice acting and that game was so frustrating to listen to, every line was completely over acted.
#Bulletstrom was such a terrible game please dont buy it. The multiplayer/coop is so awful and boring that nobody should ever have to play this game again.
Apple Vision Pro won't last long and they will be sold less than half the price in the market used easily just months after release.... People think Apple inventing something when in reality nothing new Apple bringing here infact it will be worse than what's coming.... Keep in mind Vision Pro is not launching before 2024.... They should have the best PPD screen + audio + tracking, Beside they have the best integration with their ecosystem. For example if I am working on a laptop I dont want to waste time to set up VR, just move my work in few clicks

Imho it will be decent. But TOO expensive for the price. The quest 3 will MORE than do.

Thanks, will do!
It feels like this wave of games is going to finally bring some worthy successors to Boneworks and Half Life Alyx
PS5/VR2, *STUPIDLY,* doesn't support 3D Blu-rays!
Fortunately, I found that out before "downgrading" from PS4/VR1.

Does it happen when using VD also? I have never had any issues using VD and ALL the issues when using airlink.
Yep. I usually use VD and it’s just as bad now. Even with the PTC v55 it’s messing up.

I think y missed FNAF Help Wanted 2. it was announced at a playstation event.
This was a great video with lots of great info. Any chance you would be interested in doing a review of your favorite 360 videos for VR?
Great recap video of everything I could think of! :)
Appreciate you covering games you don't like. I also don't like rogue likes and I don't like teleporting VR.
Crossfire Sierra Squad looks interesting, but I'm probably going to wait for some more details until I look into it more.
Thank you 🙏 for your reviews
How would you compare the quest 2 to the psvr2? Cause I feel like I don’t need it
I've been on the fence on buying a headset for so long because simply not enough good games and im still not convinced

What about the excellent and cheap Pico 4?
Hopefully the next Apple headset will skip the dumb front screen and cost $500 less.
