How to Vinyl Wrap your Motorbike Panniers

- With pillion passengers often catching the top of the expensive BMW Panniers with their boots when they dismount, a number of die cut vinyl suppliers produce protective film to apply yourself. By it's very nature the vinyl is thin and regularly needs replacing. However it can be expensive so this method means you can cut your own for very little outlay in any colour or effect that you want. So cheap that you can now replace anytime!

Glad I ran across your video. I’ve got to do the same thing. You gave me the confidence I needed. One question. What kind of paper did you use to make the template? The panniers I’m doing are aluminum with some plastic corners with tie downs to go around.

i have seen several video on wrapping the motorbike or car, very few use soapy water. most of them don't, any reason why - use it or not to use soapy water? thinking of wrapping my motorbike.
It really helps to eliminate air bubbles, but some wraps are designed to prevent them anyway, think they are a lot more expensive😱

@@normski3091 you could also probably hey paid subscribers for your content, I'd pay 10 per month. I binge watched your son's R rebuild. I had my R bike front brake fail during an emergency stop and bent the frame in the crash. We will be removing and remounting EVERYTHING on the new frame. I was very intimidated by this but I feel raring to go after watching you do your son's bike. What did he say about out? Do you guys ride together?

You will see on a final bye bye video I sold it on eBay as I cannot afford to run two bikes. Broke my heart to be truthful. Bit of a bidding frenzy in the end😱

It was inspiring to see that level of attention and care to each bolt. I'm going to do the same thing. I bought everything you suggested pretty much. I started on the first video yesterday late afternoon and watched the last video around 9 last night. Your age shows a work ethic long since passed. Cheers to you sir. Yes from Amazon, but who was it, will I ever find it again🤦🏼♂️. However first trip with my Heather around Northumberland and it needs redoing. I have another idea which, although a lot more expensive, I think will be even better and most important can be refurbished.......let me finish the GS rebuild first🤪
