not as easy as yall think🤞🏽 takes practice and a few cars to actually perfect them & every car can be different .. remember alot of people add stuff to their cars such as body kits, spoilers... you also need to know proper parts to use knifeless tape for the seams .... its not very easy btw some materials are very hard to work with!!

No wrap experience and had so much difficulty with the fender on my '12 WRX and this guy just did it like it was nothing lol Definitely was amazing advice that I can use though to rewrap it, and finally complete the other fender also.

Just finished wrapping the first part of my interior as my first wrap job. I have worked with sign/shirt vinyl for years and used some of the techniques you did here but messed up how the vinyl reacted to heat a few times. Wish I saw this video first as your explanation and examples were spot on.
Any idea of around the house objects one can use in place of the heat gun?
also completely agree, you can watch all the vids you want but you need experience and to learn from mistakes to learn how the material works in diff situations
This was a very good video. If I may add a couple of points. I am a newbie, so I always look at different videos to find some help for my areas of problem, it would be great that the instructor put himself in that state of mind, be himself when he started, which problems did he face, address those or the ones you've heard from other people. In this video, I would have liked to see the proper use of squeegee, the angle, the direction, and how much pressure. It's a very nice video on corners, thank you.

Great instruction! I have a 1938 Dodge Brothers car, and have some woodgrain printed vinyl to put on the window reveals and dashboard. What is the best way to cover the window reveals?
I Dunno Jack bout Wrapping...i bought Used wrap on Amazon an slapped em on my Oxidized fender an doors....didn't even completely wrap whole sections...looks like shit with streaks an bubbles..im Satisfied 😁

Attempted to wrap my mirrors on my charger but the curve on the end close to the driver side frustrated me and I had almost perfect! But i got hot frustrated and quit and took the wrap off never will I attempt this I’ll leave to the skilled professional 🤣

Big advice with 3M Satin wraps is that you don't want to heat too much and pull the film or tack anywhere in the middle before pulling or you'll have glue dots under the wrap.
If a vehicle has a lot of rock chips on the hood. What do you recommend? Satin Black or Matte Black?
Do the rock chips affect it?

Lots of over stretch. And of course that would work when you take everything off. Skills is where you find a way to work around it when taking off certain unit means thousands of dollars of recalibration.
Bad habit of relieve cut pointing towards a curve, that can turn an over stretched area to rip that relieve cut deeper into a corner. The correct way is to cut into a U shape away from the corner.
This video helped sooo much. I've been getting into the wrap business and plan on opening my own shop. The laying process is pretty self explanatory but I feel like no one shows you how to do corners and trim vinyl. Please keep making more videos like this

Love this, I thought you would avoid stretching as much as possible, but it seems like you stretch more than other wrappers, why is this? Is this so you can get the material to shrink back into the corners?

Watching you do this is painful the biggest mistake your doing is using that heat gun. Use your muscles to pull it you shouldn’t even be really be using a heat gun on fenders,hoods,doors use the heat gun a little bit on handles and the front bumper and rear bumper you know the saying anyone can wrap a car and it will look good for a day but will it look good in a year are 2
When an officer stop your vehicle.. Your registration identify that is a blue color but it is black? What happens then?

Also, and please I'm not being a jerk, at 11:16 in the video there was a part that seemed to be too close of a cut revealing blue. Did you amd if so how did you correct that.
I have a vehicle with gloss black wrap on part of it and accidentally waxed a part of it. It looks bad. Can I do anything other than replace it?

Can you overlap vinyl? And if you do, how visible it is? Are there different thicknesses?
Most pro's overlap roughly a 1/16". Very minimal overlap. From there, it's keeping the sequence of the overlaps in mind. If you're doing a motorcycle tank in 2 or 3 pieces for example, you'd wrap the sides, then the top... This will keep the edges much less noticeable than doing the top first then the sides.
The other thing to think about is that some vinyl adhesive backings are a different color than the finish product so seams are more noticeable.
Lastly, Whenever doing a seam, use cutless tape. Always. I've never seen an exception to this rule.
