How to transfer domain from GOOGLE Domains to NAMECHEAP

  • In this video you can learn how to transfer your domain from google domains registrar to namcheap. Google domains has stopped issuing new domains after acquisition by squarespace.
    Note: cloudflare free plan users cannot use custom nameservers as provided by hosting companies, its a paid feature is cloudways which is a essential feature for a domain registrar. So if you use cloudflare because of their pricing you will have to get a paid plan or use cloudflare dns service only.
    Any other registrar you select make sure they provide free whois, good price both for registration and renewal, good reputation and history.

    Please make sure your dns information is correct after transfer if you were using other google services connected to domain like email forwarding, workspace etc.

    i am tryng to move the domain but its not showing there. What year is this plz?

      Video was created today. 12 April 2024 you can see the domain date also many times in the video. May be your domain has been moved to square space already. As I have explained in video Google is moving domain in phases and mine was still manageable from Google domains site.
