For a design made to promote the fun of sonic games only to be seen as terrifying by its fans, it's lovely to hear singing about only wanting to bring joy rather than go with the "make him creepy/evil" route.
Brodo's cover did it too
you can blame the “seemed terrifying by its fans” part on whoever changed the music when releasing the games in the US
That is what is so nice about Juno’ cover, they aren’t just quickly made and have actual research about the topic and include it in the song

This by far is the only accurate and an incredible approach with Majin Sonic lyrics: A salesman that links with its signature motto: "Fun Is Infinite with SEGA Enterprises!" Offering multiple Sonic games and the whole rivalry with Nintendo back in the earlier days.

Majin has always been a kind, energetic character to me and this song really embodies it. He’s a mascot, an entertainer and an advertiser. And let’s be honest, he does a pretty good job of showing off.

This actually makes a lot of sense, Majin is based off of one of the sonic cd developers named Masato Nishimura. (His workers nicknaming him "majin" which is what the name came from) of course one of the developers would advertise a game THEY worked on.
Brodowo's Majin: Originally wanting bf to stay in his realm. but ultimately decides to help being "fun" to everyone.
Stash Club's Majin: Trapped in the realm by EXE. And just wanting to bring fun to all.

It's funny how Brodo's and Stash Club's Majins were trying to convince BF to join their cult while Juno's Majin is just recommending every single Sonic game. It's stupid yet funny AND it kinda makes sense since he's just Sonic with Masato Nishimura's face, who's also a designer at Sega. Bravo Juno, bravo.
Seems it's less of a sonic or spirit-like character with this take on Majin and more of just the soul of the OG sonic developer that he's based on literally just indefinitely permeated into the existence of an entire world and its inhabitants, which is cool considering the sonic dev is prob the most powerful being in all of actual sonic, his existence/likeness occupying an entire infinite dimension makes sense.
He especially just kinda sounds like an older man telling you about his company and products, not necessarily trying to sell it out per say, but just showing off kinda for his work with where it started and where it's going.
Interesting compared to base Majin just being normal fun guy, Nightmare series Majin being a lower ranked helper demon, and Nominal's take on Majin being a more heroic take on him where he is more or less trying to honor sonic's name and protect souls and characters from the other evil characters.
