Also sonic isn't technically the only playable one in Unleashed. Chip is briefly playable for part of the boss battle. Chip is part of why Dark Gaia is gone. And Sonic's cocky behavior is part of why this happened.

To be fair, in SA1 I always thought it was always like a story being told in multiple perspectives. Also in the Tails it's near impossible to lose to Sonic, He will stop to wait for you to catch up if you fall behind. The final tails level aka Eggman, he does not wait for you to catch up.
I always thought Tails’ finale took place while Sonic was in the Lost World stage and flashback. Then, Eggman, humiliated by Tails, decides to retreat to his base, and Sonic sees the opportunity as an early Christmas present of potential robot wreckage.

Because you are seeing the story through Tails perspective this is basically the little kid saying:”Oh yeah and when Eggman showed up, I talked mad shit to him and Sonic was like ‘yeah Tails, you’re awesome!’” The only things that are accurate is when Tails is by himself. I’m not making this up either as you can see Knuckles and Sonic both see Tails the exact same way in their crossover story. This is the case with most of the characters but Gamma and Sonic who are all telling the story from a biased perspective
I like when Sonic is more of a sidekick tbh on the games which emphasise the characters being in a team. All of the characters have their own roles, but they were all equals. I prefer that to just Sonic doing everything and everyone else being useless.
I decided to try and start the game a few weeks ago because it was just lying around in my house and honestly, for my first sonic game, it's the most fun I've had in the while.
Sonic in Generations is even above elite, it should had another tier just for himself, he is the ONLY one to not get caught by time eater somehow, then he just re-activate important zones, revives all of his friends, restoring everything to normal and don't forget there was 2 game characters and sonic was both of them, solid god tier and absolute savior
In defense of Sonic in Adventure, he ended up landing in the mystic ruins while Eggman ended up in station square so there wasn't anything he could do to stop the missile. Although him defeating eggman in his ending didn't matter since as far we know Eggman had no plans left at that point beyond trying to create a new one.
Personally for Frontiers Sonic being more mature, I like to believe the events of forces and the IDW comics (mainly the metal virus arc) opened his eyes to the possibility that he needs to be more careful and serious, and as the IDW is confirmed to be canon, the metal virus must have been the final thing that caused Sonic to be as mature as he is in Frontiers, yes, he still has a sense of humour, but he's certainly more serious, similar to how serious he was during the metal virus arc, so that's my reasoning for Sonic being as mature has he is in Frontiers
3:08 to be fair, Sonic runs way slower while Tails isn't looking, which can be interpreted as him trying to boost Tails' confidence up to take his role as a partner or even his own hero rather than a mere sidekick 6:20 also also, the main differences I'd say Sonic and Blaze have are: He is faster in general (knowing his title, he better), he has the Homing attack, that allows him to convert any and all momentum he doesn't want into forward momentum without a target, and some decent tricks after jumping off a spring (a slight boost upwards that can be reversed to boost diagonally in either direction and the roundhouse kick he's known for), while Blaze instead of that speed, can stay underwater 1.5 times longer than him, has a form of glide, that she can use to halt vertical momentum only, but also use to reach areas sonic would take slightly longer faster, and flashy tricks off a spring (a massive boost upwards, which can potentially skip whole areas, and an incredibly fast movement forward, that stops abruptly after a short distance, that with enough practice can be canceled to keep that momentum) tl;dr, Sonic is faster overall, Blaze has a higher skill ceiling to reach better times than him and lower skill floor, to allow people to mess up more given her tools. 7:42 Rush Adventure has it's ups and downs, while the gameplay as Sonic is relatively the same, I only saw Sonic's spring tricks getting some startup lag (and I think the roundhouse kick gains a little more height idk), but that's about it. 11:54 but some more equally than others *cough cough* Knuckles can fly and Sonic can launch himself forward like he had his usual speed *cough*
Fun Fact: you can become super sonic in sonic 1 on mobile you use no save mode press all the letters in the sega logo and put 2 fingers in the down of screen and then you gotta enter codes with the sound test set chaos emeralds to 7 and you can unlock super sonic you just need 50 rings and if you want you can enter another code for debug mode
Let me make one thing clear about Unleashed. If there was a spot above elite, Sonic would go there. Yes, you could argue the entire planet broke apart because of him, but yet again, he’s the only one who can fix it. He was the one in possession of the chaos emeralds the whole time. Plus, there was no rule that said Sonic could get back the chaos emeralds after the planet was put back together. Essentially, he willingly sacrificed part of himself and potentially never go Super Sonic again in order to fix his mistakes.

Generations spindash can traverse an entire section in the white void, generations has vibrant expansive backgrounds and multiple planes and dynamic camera angles, and good controls.

Also sonic isn't technically the only playable one in Unleashed. Chip is briefly playable for part of the boss battle. Chip is part of why Dark Gaia is gone. And Sonic's cocky behavior is part of why this happened.

@@JohnDoe-dw3hj I'm just saying he's rated a bit high compared to some other entries due to being the 'only playable character' but Chip does a lot against Dark Gaia. Then again I guess Sonic helped him remember and kept him safe in his vulnerable state. I was saying his cockiness led to this because of Eggman turning him into a werehog after Sonic paused and said a mocking remark. He seemed to let his guard down. I may be stretching a bit because maybe he was just showing mercy to a man who seemed to have no other way to fight back as he was cornered, though. Some other games had Sonic do the work while the others sat around. His rating in Forces is odd considering that the other characters fighting the clones does literally nothing for the plot. They weren't trying to attack Sonic while he was taking on the boss that made them all disappear, so they had no reason to distract them. Plus the fact that the clones DISAPPEAR right after Sonic defeats the boss. If they were actually defending something that'd be useful, but they aren't.

To be fair, in SA1 I always thought it was always like a story being told in multiple perspectives.
Also in the Tails it's near impossible to lose to Sonic, He will stop to wait for you to catch up if you fall behind. The final tails level aka Eggman, he does not wait for you to catch up.

I always thought Tails’ finale took place while Sonic was in the Lost World stage and flashback. Then, Eggman, humiliated by Tails, decides to retreat to his base, and Sonic sees the opportunity as an early Christmas present of potential robot wreckage.

The only things that are accurate is when Tails is by himself.
I’m not making this up either as you can see Knuckles and Sonic both see Tails the exact same way in their crossover story.

I like when Sonic is more of a sidekick tbh on the games which emphasise the characters being in a team. All of the characters have their own roles, but they were all equals. I prefer that to just Sonic doing everything and everyone else being useless.

I decided to try and start the game a few weeks ago because it was just lying around in my house and honestly, for my first sonic game, it's the most fun I've had in the while.
Sonic in Generations is even above elite, it should had another tier just for himself, he is the ONLY one to not get caught by time eater somehow, then he just re-activate important zones, revives all of his friends, restoring everything to normal and don't forget there was 2 game characters and sonic was both of them, solid god tier and absolute savior

In defense of Sonic in Adventure, he ended up landing in the mystic ruins while Eggman ended up in station square so there wasn't anything he could do to stop the missile. Although him defeating eggman in his ending didn't matter since as far we know Eggman had no plans left at that point beyond trying to create a new one.
Personally for Frontiers Sonic being more mature, I like to believe the events of forces and the IDW comics (mainly the metal virus arc) opened his eyes to the possibility that he needs to be more careful and serious, and as the IDW is confirmed to be canon, the metal virus must have been the final thing that caused Sonic to be as mature as he is in Frontiers, yes, he still has a sense of humour, but he's certainly more serious, similar to how serious he was during the metal virus arc, so that's my reasoning for Sonic being as mature has he is in Frontiers
3:08 to be fair, Sonic runs way slower while Tails isn't looking, which can be interpreted as him trying to boost Tails' confidence up to take his role as a partner or even his own hero rather than a mere sidekick
6:20 also also, the main differences I'd say Sonic and Blaze have are:
He is faster in general (knowing his title, he better), he has the Homing attack, that allows him to convert any and all momentum he doesn't want into forward momentum without a target, and some decent tricks after jumping off a spring (a slight boost upwards that can be reversed to boost diagonally in either direction and the roundhouse kick he's known for),
while Blaze instead of that speed, can stay underwater 1.5 times longer than him, has a form of glide, that she can use to halt vertical momentum only, but also use to reach areas sonic would take slightly longer faster, and flashy tricks off a spring (a massive boost upwards, which can potentially skip whole areas, and an incredibly fast movement forward, that stops abruptly after a short distance, that with enough practice can be canceled to keep that momentum)
tl;dr, Sonic is faster overall, Blaze has a higher skill ceiling to reach better times than him and lower skill floor, to allow people to mess up more given her tools.
7:42 Rush Adventure has it's ups and downs, while the gameplay as Sonic is relatively the same, I only saw Sonic's spring tricks getting some startup lag (and I think the roundhouse kick gains a little more height idk), but that's about it.

Let me make one thing clear about Unleashed. If there was a spot above elite, Sonic would go there. Yes, you could argue the entire planet broke apart because of him, but yet again, he’s the only one who can fix it. He was the one in possession of the chaos emeralds the whole time. Plus, there was no rule that said Sonic could get back the chaos emeralds after the planet was put back together. Essentially, he willingly sacrificed part of himself and potentially never go Super Sonic again in order to fix his mistakes.
You dare say generations classic not good when forces classic is right there not making it up the beginning ramp at chemical plant and having a pathetic spindash? Generations spindash can traverse an entire section in the white void, generations has vibrant expansive backgrounds and multiple planes and dynamic camera angles, and good controls.
I have noticed that Sonic and the seven rings and Black Knight are omitted from a lot of these lists. (Sonic, Tails, Knuckle, Amy, EggMan and Shadow).
Sonic in sonic CD is the key and only key role on the history since he's the only one who can spark his squills fast enough to travel through time.
