Notice that they all still felt the same way they had when they died. However because the feeling was nonstop, Tails and Knuckles though they were still playing/fighting for their lives. However due to his intelligence, Robotnik realized that it was just a phantom feeling and that he was long dead. Notice how it took Knuckles a long time to realize he couldn’t feel his hand, and it took Tails a while to realize he didn’t have his eyes anymore. Robotnik had realized that it was merely phantom pain and even says that he can still feel the hands that tore him apart. Poor guy

I extra love this because its not the usual sorta take of them all fighting against Boyfriend under the strings of Xenophanes, instead, they seem stuck in purgatory almost, and rather than them helping him directly in beating Xeno, instead they teach him just how futile it is to fight, despite attempts to cheer him on. Xeno weaponized all of those he's killed off mentally, rather than the physically of other Triple Troubles Tails doesnt even notice boyfriend almost, just crying and praying sonic comes to save him. In this, Xeno shows boyfriend that, quite simply, kindness and friendship are nothing to him, and cant help save him, just get him killed. Tails even after noticing Boyfriend still in disbelief at Sonic being able to do anything like this...and faintly hopeful that the beast can be stopped Knuckles see's damn well Boyfriend is there, but he doesnt care. He just cares about beating the crap out of that beast that stole his friends face, talking up the smoke he punches into as if he's still even after death been made to try to beat Xeno endlessly. In this, Xeno shows that despite friendship not working, brawn wont work either, you cant simply out strength a god, as knuckles learned the hard way, ending his part of the song with a warning of that exactly, only strength wont win. But maybe with strength and more, he could win, hopeful Boyfriend could handle it on his own The note that only brawn wont stop him then sends boyfriend to Eggman. If brawn didnt work, try brain!...but brain fell to. Eggman is the smartest here, even in strings he hasnt been stuck reliving his end...he's just been wallowing. He's smart enough to know that he has no way out of this now, and even laughs at his failure as if nowadays, its become more funny to him, trying to laugh away the pain of his death. He doesnt care he died, not anymore...he just cares nobody else suffer, and demands boyfriend take the final order the leader of the empire will ever make. Deafeat Xeno. Not a single one of his robots could stop Xeno, who is showing boyfriend that no, Brain cant stop him, unlike what Knuckles suggested. Brawn cant stop him. Friendship and Kindness cant stop him. NOTHING can stop him, before finally going after Boyfriend himself in the final verse's of the song....a brilliant torture, truly. Show Boyfriend the fates of those he took before. Show boyfriend what will happen to him, while the spirits try to lift him and make him confident he can win, it equally shows Boyfriend how futile it is, when neither brawn, brains nor heart could defeat...if not all three of those, then what could win? Sadly for him he didnt realize that hammer beats TV, and therefor beats god. So i guess Knuckles was onto something after all, he just swung for the wrong target!
I feel like Xeno dying from GF coming in with the hammer shows how his cockiness got the best of him to the point where he got so caught up in tormenting his puppets and Bf, he doesn’t notice the bigger threats because he thinks he’s so above everything, nothing can hurt him. And yet, a simple hammer was what did him in. In the end, heart, brawn or brains might not have defeated him but overconfidence sure did.
Eggman's lyric "Advantage of the one who'd seen the evil he has done" is him telling boyfriend that he didn't know what Xeno did to tails and knuckles before he reached the doctor. Eggman thought he was just a more edgy sonic and didnt take Xeno seriously, which cost him his life.
I love how the way Xenophanes carries his voice makes it not only sound like a corruption of Sonic’s voice, but makes it sound like the Sonic songs that actually have lyrics (namely in the longer notes)
I LOVED how in knuckles' part he denied that his sheer strenght wasn't enough, before accepting that fighting a battle you can't win does not make you brave, but rather, a fool, and his only option was place his faith in bf to not attack without thinking
The way I see it is knuckles could defeat him with strength but since Xeno could just teleport he just tired him out and as said knuckles didn’t run when he saw he was being toyed with
Knuckles was in fact brave, he just became a fool after he realized Xeno was just toying with him and yet he continued to try to punch him instead of running away.

Really interesting how both Tails and Knuckles were both still talking about their death as it was happening, more of just talking rather than talking to someone and almost snap out of it to warn BF but with Eggman he is immediately aware, warning BF and almost mocking who he was
I love the artwork accompanying the song, from Xeno in the sky manipulating Tails, the sense of anger and frustration in Knuckles' picture, and Eggman sitting amongst his robots like the cherry on top of a morbid cake with a death egg rotting in the background. It's all perfect

At 7:45, I like how the lyrics directly reference Juno's lyrical adaptation of Endless (The new lyrics are "Here in Xeno's world of joy, your lives are my toys" and the ones in Endless are "Here in Majin's world of joy, the whole world is your toy"). Nice job Juno!

Eggman’s art was a bit heartbreaking, seeing all his top robots reduced to bits. All the art was fantastic! And so were the actual lyrics, I loved the subtle nods to all the 2.0 songs in Xeno’s last verse!

What I find interesting to think of is each of the souls represent a strength needed, but a weakness that must be avoided. Tails (Heart; Naiveté) Knuckles (Strength; Headstrong) Eggman (Smarts; Pride)

Love how Xenophanes’s voice sounds like a demon, yet has a hint of recognizablility EDIT: I just love how Xeno just rolls rhyme after rhyme while slightly mentioning the many souls he’s taken. The fact that he’s just so damn cocky really makes it better than other iterations, where he’s just an unforgiving embodiment of corrupted evil.

Or 2: Xeno’s personality is influenced by who his copies/possesses. So in this case, it’s Xeno’s malice combined with Sonic’s cockiness.
I dont think I've seen anyone mention this before, but I like how different Junos two Eggmans are. In MaimyMayo's lyrics, Eggman was in denial that he was fooled by Xenophanes. But here in Juno's lyrics, Eggman readily admits that he failed without any prompting from BF.
Loved the contrast to usual lyric covers, with Tails being disillusioned by his bestie, Knuckles in denial of whether his strength amounts to anything, and Robuttnik being atop a throne of forgotten legacy, to Junophanes being a nod to the original *Green Hills* cover! It was great, all these puppets on strings sure have more emotion than they let on, and with that... HAPPY HALLOWEEN 🎃
I like to think Boyfriend and Girlfriend accidentally pulled an ‘Old Man Henderson’ and killed Xenophanes when he was at his most vulnerable, after he began entering their world.

What I find interesting is how each character explains how they died based on their weaknesses/flaws Xenophanes used to his advantage. He used Tails' blind trust in Sonic against him, Knuckles devotion to strength and always jumping into battle, and Eggman's pride.

Love of the lyrics for each character. Tails in disbelief that his own friend would hurt him, Knuckles telling us to not fight Xenophanes without a plan, then Eggman here accepting he was outwitted and just wants revenge. Finally Xenophane, love the cocky feel to his lyrics really adds to his god syndrome personality, believing he already won before the song began.
Xenophanes is basically if Sonic was given godlike power and a distinct lack of morals. His cocky attitude turns into full-on narcissism, thinking that he is the most powerful, perfect being to exist. In his self-centered symphony, he didn't notice GF with the hammer. Just like Robotnik, who himself thought he was the most powerful, Xenophanes is shown that there is ALWAYS a bigger fish, even if that fish may be a Home Depot hammer.
What I realize with the eggman part is that out of all his fallen a robots Metal sonic seems to be the most respected out of them all. Unlike the others who built his thrown metal made to look like he is stood by Eggman. With recent Eggdad stuff this just makes me sad.
I love the detail of Knuckles not just seething with rage, but being so distraught over his torment that he's coming to terms with the fact that he's been driven to tears.

My personal favorite lines from this song is knuckles singing "I AM THE ZENITH!" And Eggman's "PRIDE AND ARRIGANCE LED ME TO BELIVE THAT MONSTERS FALL TO THE MACHINES!"
Love the casting for this, and how well each verse's lyrics fits each character. Tails is confused as to why this was done to him, he trusted Sonic, and laments to Boyfriend to not falls for his tricks. Knuckles boasts about his strength and power and yet is forced to admit that none of that mattered in the end, it was useless against a demon. Eggman finds it hard to accept how he could fall to Sonic and is instead angry at the demon that ruined everyone, so he sends a message of rage to Boyfriend to destroy Xenophanes. And of course Xenophanes, the overpowering demon himself, mocks each of his victims and Boyfriend himself.
I'd say Eggman is self-reflective rather than angry. He says "I was a fool who thought monsters fall to the machine" he warns that pure brainpower isn't enough. Each character has a lesson/warning to share. Tails warn you of xenophane's manipulation and not to fall for it. Knuckles warns you that muscle and grit alone isn't enough and you can't rely on brute strength. Then finally Eggman tells the other side of that story being that despite brute strength not working pure brainpower won't work either. Put all of them together and you get the following warning. Although it may seem easiest to just punch don't it will be no use same goes for smarts they alone won't help instead you need a good mix of both brains and brawns also don't fall for xenophane's manipulation he's clever and can take different forms so don't let him trick you with his honeyed words
Something that I absolutely love about this cover that I didn't see many people bring up was Xenophane's attitude throughout the whole thing. After both Tails and Knuckles, he simply mocked them and their naivete, spelling out what brought them to their doom and why they never stood a chance against him. But after Eggman? No, he completely forgoes that and focuses his attention solely on Boyfriend. He acknowledges the struggle that he had gone through up until this point, and now gleefully analyzes his flaws and why they will be his downfall just like the others, his heroic efforts being in vain. After all, why bother with his now broken puppets when there's a fresh one standing there in his way? Listen, the main antagonist suddenly deciding that the protagonist should purely be his focus of attention is one of my favorite types of narrative threads, so that's why I love this so much.
Another way to look at Xeno's shift in focus could be he didn't expect Eggman of all people to instantly go humble and direct BF where to aim his efforts. That being escaping the combat and deleting the game. Its realistically the only actual way to beat Xeno, since he needs you to play his game for the walls of reality to get thin enough. Eggman urging them to evac was probably a huge unexpected action from the selfish mad genius. Xeno hard cutting back into the fight focusing on BF was possibly him attempting to get BF re-invested in the battle so he could get close enough to break out.
I love the art that comes with each character, like they’re all still trying to fill their roles in the world, even as it crumbles around them. Fits pretty well with Xeno’s whole puppet shtick…

I like the idea of Knuckles casting the blame on himself. It feels really in character for him to shame himself for failing to defeat Xenophanes, despite Xenophanes having the powers equivalent to a god in their world. I love your lyric videos!!!
The entire section stood out to me, especially the “Might makes right; I will not be a goner” line. It sends shivers down my spine every time. This song was the definition of popping off, and then popping off again and again.

I like pretty much everything about this cover, but my favorite part [as per usual] has to be the Eggman section, in no small part due to the characterization Juno gave Eggman here. Eggman is so accepting of the fact that he failed, to the point where he insults his past self by saying things such as: "A genius at heart? What a farce!" "The eggman empire, ruled by no one." "Came here a conqueror, left a number instead!" And the best part of the characterization imo is using Eggman's laughs as him laughing at his past self, while having his third laugh sound like he has a little bit of sorrow in his voice.
Despite him really just being sonic, I was not expecting Xeno's voice to be like that, and yet it sounds so good it gave me shivers. It's poetic really. Tails, the naive little child, calling upon you to stop the imposter he's seen through. Knuckle's, the dumb meathead, is the one telling you to not rely on strength and use your head in moments of struggle. And finally Eggman, the prideful genius, admits that he was too arrogant and to get revenge for not only him but everyone else. Genius.

I love this so much. The art styles done by you are fantastic, portraying Xenophanes as a complete Erdrich horror, but also the three other characters. The detail I love the most is that while Knuckles and Eggman both look horrifying and ghoulish, Tails still looks almost “adorable” and innocent. Because while Eggman is the villain of the classic Sonic series, and Knuckles is a fighter, Tails is just the trusting best friend who got caught up in something he wasn’t prepared for in his wildest nightmares. And meanwhile, I love how all three told Boyfriend what not to do. Tails learned and told them not to fall for Xenophanes’ twisted promises and false smile. Knuckles told them not to fight him straight up, one on one. And Eggman, the still genius at heart, the arrogant villain who hides behind machines, told them the weakness. Leave the game, destroy it, hide behind your machine and don’t fight Xeno. Just destroy him and his vessel. And Xenophanes reacts well too, mockery after Tails’ and Knuckles’ verses, because he knows nothing they told Boyfriend can possibly stop him. But after Eggman’s, he’s pissed and maybe even a little scared beneath all his arrogance. He’s going after Boyfriend hard and heavily now, trying to make sure he can’t escape his world to the one place he can possibly be destroyed. He just forgot to account for Girlfriend with a giant hammer and some sage advice to stop emulating these games.

Not gonna lie after hearing this song I would honestly love to see a game or story made around the lore the lyrics create. It would obviously have somber tunes but it would have a lot of potential and could explore more of what exactly happened. To anyone who reads this please note I have no idea what if any canon exists for .exe, so if a diehard fan reads this please refrain from tearing me apart. Oh and I liked the reference to endless at the end, especially given it's fitting with the rest of the theme that .exe (or zeno, don't know if they are specifically separate entities) wants to keep his slaughter going forever.
The game has no dialogue so you can interpret the events in any way, and besides, most sonic.exe fangames go for the "this demon is from another universe/dimension" approach so youre allowed to be creative and put in new/slightly-different events.
I like how knuckles focuses less on himself and more than his duties and sonic's honor . Really like how like his final parts are like his life flashing before his eyes, revisiting his song and music.
I know you probably seen this quite a bit already, but due to how well you guys did this, it would be neat to see pasta night from you. Imagining Hypno just looking at charizard card while something like "This is the rouge gallery of broken childhood memories" being sung in background would be pretty good.
Seeing all of the art from the old Sonic.exe medley from two years ago really made me realize how much you’ve improved when you compare it to the new pieces in this cover.
what i love about this is Xenophanes's voice. its not that dark pitched demonic voice, but rather an altered version of Sonic's. Xenophanes may be a demon and stuff, but people keep forgetting that he's in the form of Sonic. so naturally, his voice is gonna sound like him
This has gotta be the best lyric cover ever! You used the original song perfectly, not sticking too much to the original melody to where it’d end up feeling forced and unnatural while still having the same feeling and vibe of the original triple trouble. All of the different versions sounded amazing! I genuinely never really like the Knuckles part, but this lyric version honestly had me head banging throughout. The story of all of it fits so perfectly within the lyrics, each puppet having their own conflicting feelings about their situation which is portrayed within each lyric they sing. Amazing work to all who had a hand in this project, you all really outdid yourselves ✨☺️👍✨

The only and mean ONLY complaint I have is the end where girlfriend just ends the problem in a comedic fashion by smashing the PC, because after all of the serious build up for the characters with breathtaking lyrics just to end the problem with comedy just left a bit of a sour taste, but most of what I am even complaining about is subjective which does not mean it was not a good approach.
the start of knuckles' portion was mid at best but everything after "just a broken husk" is some of the best voice acting i've ever heard in fnf lyric type videos, props
It definitely feels like those lyrics were a rough draft, then after the husk is where they were confident in the lyrics. Which I was a bit salty about, but considering how much effort goes into these plus how fast Juno cranks this stuff out, I can't really blame em.

6:57 I gotta love the force/emotion put into the “DROWN!” It Makes everything sound so much better when you put actual emotion into words, and it’s very cool when characters break off the lyrical pitches to put emphasis on a non-pitched word or two. Very well done Juno!
Though there are moments where the lyrics feel compact and, though well written, somewhat hindered by the flow of the original rhythm (Particularly opening in Xeno phase 3), The large majority of the lyrics fit amazingly and tell a story. It's a talent to be able to do so much with an interesting syllable rhythm, and I absolutely love it :) (also, for many of the sustained notes, You guys absolutely HIT)
I think that, what you call a hinderence, is actually Xenophanes getting livid at the fact that this kid won't die already and just wants this to be done so he can go torment BF's world.
@@antonitocotter447 I do agree that it makes sense story wise for Xenophane to get absolutely Bonkers at the end, The lyrical flow still suffers slightly due to the way syllables are forced together in such a compact space. Like I said, the lyrics and story through lyrics are amazingly written, I just believe that at some points it's weaker than others, if that makes sense.

It's like the creators of the mod said, Tails is sacred to disobey Xenophanes and his mind is trapped in the past by the illusions of his his best friend, his big brother Sonic, but he actually wants BF to succeed, Knuckles being the most aggressive of the three and trying to take you down because he's scared of what Xeno can do, but in reality he hates all of this and and having to fight BF because he wants him to succeed, he's in so much pain and feels powerless against him, and finally Eggman being Eggman, he still hates Sonic and wants him to fail, laughing at the fact that Xeno is losing to BF of all things, I love that you made it so that just like Eggman he respects Sonic and hates the fact that this thing that calls itself God took the form of his nemesis and used his face to commit all of these horrible atrocities and they're so inhumane that Eggman actually wants it all to stop and doesn't want anyone else to suffer! Don't think I didn't catch all those references to the other songs in the mods like Endless, Cycles, Sunshine, Chaos, etc. THAT WAS GENIUS JUNO!!! (I also loved the movie Knuckles reference!) I absolutely loved that you connected your Sonic.EXE cover of Green Hill Zone to your version of Triple Trouble, seeing all that beautiful old art combined with the amazing new ones was just MUAH! Now that ending was hilarious! ... but I'm kinda really salty that GF defeated Xeno so easily just like that since I was rooting for him 😅🤣 (especially since I was already really salty that the reason Sonic.EXE couldn't kill BF was because somehow for some BS reason GF's powers were greater than him ... which again is BS) but meh, what can you do am I right? Before I state my opinion on the song, I must say that I actually don’t really like the lyric-less version of this song. Having said that, I must say that this is probably my new favorite song ever, I cannot state enough how much I love the lyrical adaptation of this song and also all of the other covers on this channel, absolutely phenomenal work as always!

Notice that they all still felt the same way they had when they died. However because the feeling was nonstop, Tails and Knuckles though they were still playing/fighting for their lives. However due to his intelligence, Robotnik realized that it was just a phantom feeling and that he was long dead. Notice how it took Knuckles a long time to realize he couldn’t feel his hand, and it took Tails a while to realize he didn’t have his eyes anymore. Robotnik had realized that it was merely phantom pain and even says that he can still feel the hands that tore him apart. Poor guy

I extra love this because its not the usual sorta take of them all fighting against Boyfriend under the strings of Xenophanes, instead, they seem stuck in purgatory almost, and rather than them helping him directly in beating Xeno, instead they teach him just how futile it is to fight, despite attempts to cheer him on. Xeno weaponized all of those he's killed off mentally, rather than the physically of other Triple Troubles
Tails doesnt even notice boyfriend almost, just crying and praying sonic comes to save him. In this, Xeno shows boyfriend that, quite simply, kindness and friendship are nothing to him, and cant help save him, just get him killed. Tails even after noticing Boyfriend still in disbelief at Sonic being able to do anything like this...and faintly hopeful that the beast can be stopped
Knuckles see's damn well Boyfriend is there, but he doesnt care. He just cares about beating the crap out of that beast that stole his friends face, talking up the smoke he punches into as if he's still even after death been made to try to beat Xeno endlessly. In this, Xeno shows that despite friendship not working, brawn wont work either, you cant simply out strength a god, as knuckles learned the hard way, ending his part of the song with a warning of that exactly, only strength wont win. But maybe with strength and more, he could win, hopeful Boyfriend could handle it on his own
The note that only brawn wont stop him then sends boyfriend to Eggman. If brawn didnt work, try brain!...but brain fell to. Eggman is the smartest here, even in strings he hasnt been stuck reliving his end...he's just been wallowing. He's smart enough to know that he has no way out of this now, and even laughs at his failure as if nowadays, its become more funny to him, trying to laugh away the pain of his death. NOTHING can stop him, before finally going after Boyfriend himself in the final verse's of the song....a brilliant torture, truly. Show Boyfriend the fates of those he took before. Show boyfriend what will happen to him, while the spirits try to lift him and make him confident he can win, it equally shows Boyfriend how futile it is, when neither brawn, brains nor heart could defeat...if not all three of those, then what could win?

I feel like Xeno dying from GF coming in with the hammer shows how his cockiness got the best of him to the point where he got so caught up in tormenting his puppets and Bf, he doesn’t notice the bigger threats because he thinks he’s so above everything, nothing can hurt him. And yet, a simple hammer was what did him in. In the end, heart, brawn or brains might not have defeated him but overconfidence sure did.

Eggman’s art was a bit heartbreaking, seeing all his top robots reduced to bits. All the art was fantastic! And so were the actual lyrics, I loved the subtle nods to all the 2.0 songs in Xeno’s last verse!

Loved the contrast to usual lyric covers, with Tails being disillusioned by his bestie, Knuckles in denial of whether his strength amounts to anything, and Robuttnik being atop a throne of forgotten legacy, to Junophanes being a nod to the original *Green Hills* cover! What I find interesting is how each character explains how they died based on their weaknesses/flaws Xenophanes used to his advantage.
He used Tails' blind trust in Sonic against him, Knuckles devotion to strength and always jumping into battle, and Eggman's pride.
To me it's a bit better than "I killed Sonic characters because I'm OP"

Xenophanes is basically if Sonic was given godlike power and a distinct lack of morals. His cocky attitude turns into full-on narcissism, thinking that he is the most powerful, perfect being to exist. In his self-centered symphony, he didn't notice GF with the hammer. Just like Robotnik, who himself thought he was the most powerful, Xenophanes is shown that there is ALWAYS a bigger fish, even if that fish may be a Home Depot hammer.

What I realize with the eggman part is that out of all his fallen a robots Metal sonic seems to be the most respected out of them all. Unlike the others who built his thrown metal made to look like he is stood by Eggman.

Tails is confused as to why this was done to him, he trusted Sonic, and laments to Boyfriend to not falls for his tricks.
Knuckles boasts about his strength and power and yet is forced to admit that none of that mattered in the end, it was useless against a demon.
Eggman finds it hard to accept how he could fall to Sonic and is instead angry at the demon that ruined everyone, so he sends a message of rage to Boyfriend to destroy Xenophanes.
And of course Xenophanes, the overpowering demon himself, mocks each of his victims and Boyfriend himself.

I'd say Eggman is self-reflective rather than angry. He says "I was a fool who thought monsters fall to the machine" he warns that pure brainpower isn't enough.
Each character has a lesson/warning to share. Tails warn you of xenophane's manipulation and not to fall for it.
Knuckles warns you that muscle and grit alone isn't enough and you can't rely on brute strength.
Then finally Eggman tells the other side of that story being that despite brute strength not working pure brainpower won't work either.
Put all of them together and you get the following warning. Although it may seem easiest to just punch don't it will be no use same goes for smarts they alone won't help instead you need a good mix of both brains and brawns also don't fall for xenophane's manipulation he's clever and can take different forms so don't let him trick you with his honeyed words

Something that I absolutely love about this cover that I didn't see many people bring up was Xenophane's attitude throughout the whole thing.
After both Tails and Knuckles, he simply mocked them and their naivete, spelling out what brought them to their doom and why they never stood a chance against him. But after Eggman? No, he completely forgoes that and focuses his attention solely on Boyfriend. He acknowledges the struggle that he had gone through up until this point, and now gleefully analyzes his flaws and why they will be his downfall just like the others, his heroic efforts being in vain. After all, why bother with his now broken puppets when there's a fresh one standing there in his way?
Listen, the main antagonist suddenly deciding that the protagonist should purely be his focus of attention is one of my favorite types of narrative threads, so that's why I love this so much.
Another way to look at Xeno's shift in focus could be he didn't expect Eggman of all people to instantly go humble and direct BF where to aim his efforts. That being escaping the combat and deleting the game. Its realistically the only actual way to beat Xeno, since he needs you to play his game for the walls of reality to get thin enough. Eggman urging them to evac was probably a huge unexpected action from the selfish mad genius. Xeno hard cutting back into the fight focusing on BF was possibly him attempting to get BF re-invested in the battle so he could get close enough to break out.
I like to think it’s a lot simpler and he just didn’t rip on eggman because eggman ripped on himself and he took the fun out of it.

I like pretty much everything about this cover, but my favorite part [as per usual] has to be the Eggman section, in no small part due to the characterization Juno gave Eggman here.
Eggman is so accepting of the fact that he failed, to the point where he insults his past self by saying things such as:
"A genius at heart? What a farce!"
"The eggman empire, ruled by no one."
"Came here a conqueror, left a number instead!"
And the best part of the characterization imo is using Eggman's laughs as him laughing at his past self, while having his third laugh sound like he has a little bit of sorrow in his voice.

Despite him really just being sonic, I was not expecting Xeno's voice to be like that, and yet it sounds so good it gave me shivers. It's poetic really. Tails, the naive little child, calling upon you to stop the imposter he's seen through. Knuckle's, the dumb meathead, is the one telling you to not rely on strength and use your head in moments of struggle. And finally Eggman, the prideful genius, admits that he was too arrogant and to get revenge for not only him but everyone else. Genius.

I love this so much. The art styles done by you are fantastic, portraying Xenophanes as a complete Erdrich horror, but also the three other characters. The detail I love the most is that while Knuckles and Eggman both look horrifying and ghoulish, Tails still looks almost “adorable” and innocent. Because while Eggman is the villain of the classic Sonic series, and Knuckles is a fighter, Tails is just the trusting best friend who got caught up in something he wasn’t prepared for in his wildest nightmares.
And meanwhile, I love how all three told Boyfriend what not to do. Tails learned and told them not to fall for Xenophanes’ twisted promises and false smile. Knuckles told them not to fight him straight up, one on one. And Eggman, the still genius at heart, the arrogant villain who hides behind machines, told them the weakness. Leave the game, destroy it, hide behind your machine and don’t fight Xeno. Just destroy him and his vessel. And Xenophanes reacts well too, mockery after Tails’ and Knuckles’ verses, because he knows nothing they told Boyfriend can possibly stop him. But after Eggman’s, he’s pissed and maybe even a little scared beneath all his arrogance. He’s going after Boyfriend hard and heavily now, trying to make sure he can’t escape his world to the one place he can possibly be destroyed. He just forgot to account for Girlfriend with a giant hammer and some sage advice to stop emulating these games.

Not gonna lie after hearing this song I would honestly love to see a game or story made around the lore the lyrics create. It would obviously have somber tunes but it would have a lot of potential and could explore more of what exactly happened. To anyone who reads this please note I have no idea what if any canon exists for .exe, so if a diehard fan reads this please refrain from tearing me apart. Oh and I liked the reference to endless at the end, especially given it's fitting with the rest of the theme that .exe (or zeno, don't know if they are specifically separate entities) wants to keep his slaughter going forever.
The game has no dialogue so you can interpret the events in any way, and besides, most sonic.exe fangames go for the "this demon is from another universe/dimension" approach so youre allowed to be creative and put in new/slightly-different events.

Seeing all of the art from the old Sonic.exe medley from two years ago really made me realize how much you’ve improved when you compare it to the new pieces in this cover.
what i love about this is Xenophanes's voice. its not that dark pitched demonic voice, but rather an altered version of Sonic's. Xenophanes may be a demon and stuff, but people keep forgetting that he's in the form of Sonic. so naturally, his voice is gonna sound like him
This has gotta be the best lyric cover ever! You used the original song perfectly, not sticking too much to the original melody to where it’d end up feeling forced and unnatural while still having the same feeling and vibe of the original triple trouble. All of the different versions sounded amazing! I genuinely never really like the Knuckles part, but this lyric version honestly had me head banging throughout. The story of all of it fits so perfectly within the lyrics, each puppet having their own conflicting feelings about their situation which is portrayed within each lyric they sing. Amazing work to all who had a hand in this project, you all really outdid yourselves ✨☺️👍✨

The only and mean ONLY complaint I have is the end where girlfriend just ends the problem in a comedic fashion by smashing the PC, because after all of the serious build up for the characters with breathtaking lyrics just to end the problem with comedy just left a bit of a sour taste, but most of what I am even complaining about is subjective which does not mean it was not a good approach.
the start of knuckles' portion was mid at best but everything after "just a broken husk" is some of the best voice acting i've ever heard in fnf lyric type videos, props

Though there are moments where the lyrics feel compact and, though well written, somewhat hindered by the flow of the original rhythm (Particularly opening in Xeno phase 3), The large majority of the lyrics fit amazingly and tell a story. It's a talent to be able to do so much with an interesting syllable rhythm, and I absolutely love it :) (also, for many of the sustained notes, You guys absolutely HIT)
I think that, what you call a hinderence, is actually Xenophanes getting livid at the fact that this kid won't die already and just wants this to be done so he can go torment BF's world.
@@antonitocotter447 I do agree that it makes sense story wise for Xenophane to get absolutely Bonkers at the end, The lyrical flow still suffers slightly due to the way syllables are forced together in such a compact space. Like I said, the lyrics and story through lyrics are amazingly written, I just believe that at some points it's weaker than others, if that makes sense.

It's like the creators of the mod said, Tails is sacred to disobey Xenophanes and his mind is trapped in the past by the illusions of his his best friend, his big brother Sonic, but he actually wants BF to succeed, Knuckles being the most aggressive of the three and trying to take you down because he's scared of what Xeno can do, but in reality he hates all of this and and having to fight BF because he wants him to succeed, he's in so much pain and feels powerless against him, and finally Eggman being Eggman, he still hates Sonic and wants him to fail, laughing at the fact that Xeno is losing to BF of all things, I love that you made it so that just like Eggman he respects Sonic and hates the fact that this thing that calls itself God took the form of his nemesis and used his face to commit all of these horrible atrocities and they're so inhumane that Eggman actually wants it all to stop and doesn't want anyone else to suffer!

Before I state my opinion on the song, I must say that I actually don’t really like the lyric-less version of this song.
Having said that, I must say that this is probably my new favorite song ever, I cannot state enough how much I love the lyrical adaptation of this song and also all of the other covers on this channel, absolutely phenomenal work as always!

I'd like to point out starting at 3:37 and ending at 3:53 Knuckles seems to be having a breakdown
"rougher then the rest of em, the best of em." is a reference to his song of course but the way his voice actor sings it sounds panicked, along with most of the lyrics in the art-style section.
I know that the overall song is a bop, especially discussing the best parts of the song for each character. But can we just appreciate that Gilfriend literally bashed the computer with a huge ass hammer to stop Xenophanes from taking Boyfriend, even with a stoic expression. It's kind of funny for me, to be honest xd.
