Despite the rumors, Majin was never intended to scare players, his face is actually a member of someone at Sega, and while Majin does translate to “the devil” it was never intended that way. But when the world discovered his secret screen in sonic cd, they saw him as horrific, and so he remains in his desolate wasteland of programming. He Seeing Majin as a misunderstood outcast is amazingly refreshing after seeing everyone treat him like a villain

I really like this take on Majin. He has good intentions, but since he's brainwashed by how long he's stayed in his dimension, his perception on reality is warped. What he says is true, how the world is a cruel place and there truly is pain and suffering everywhere you look, whether it's happening to you or not. But would you give up all your freedom and independent thought to join the hive mind that has one set goal, if it meant you were happy as well? I'm probably reading too much into a lyrical adaption of a FNF song, but the point is this interpretation of Majin is one of the best i've seen. Bravo!
I never could figure out Majin as a character until I really looked at him and what his little Easter egg meant. Sure he's creepy but unlike the other monsters he just wants to bring joy and fun in the lives of those he meets.

The Line "ruined you and me" could/may have 2 separate meanings (because both BF and Majin sing the line): 1) it could be referencing the toxic community of FNF which in return ruins the experience some players have with the game 2) That Majin was supposed to be seen as a funny Easter egg, but due to the theme that played in the US version of the release it was more creepy and sinister than the Japanese version that had a more fun sounding tune to it

The wording about Majin not being evil has context to it. In Sonic CD, there was a screen that was made by one of the designers with a render of his and Sonic’s face, which created what we now know as Majin Sonic, and while the intention was to say the fun is infinite in CD, people were unnerved because of the look of Majin Sonic, and the alias the designer went by at the time, Majin. Which sometimes translated to Demon.

I really like this take on Majin. He has good intentions, but since he's brainwashed by how long he's stayed in his dimension, his perception on reality is warped. What he says is true, how the world is a cruel place and there truly is pain and suffering everywhere you look, whether it's happening to you or not. But would you give up all your freedom and independent thought to join the hive mind that has one set goal, if it meant you were happy as well?
I'm probably reading too much into a lyrical adaption of a FNF song, but the point is this interpretation of Majin is one of the best i've seen. Bravo!

Fact: Majin Sonic originated from an easter egg from the sound test room in Sonic CD, which is why the sound test room appears after the song.
Fact 2: In Sonic.EXE: Nightmare Begins there’s an unrelated, similar-looking entity called Creep, he’s the dark “guardian” of Sonic’s mind, and, in a secret cutscene, tells Sonic.EXE to kill Sonic’s friends to destroy Sonic’s spirit, making it easier for Sonic.EXE to take over Sonic’s mind and body. Oh and Creep held Sonic.EXE in place, in mid-air, while Sonic.exe is spinning, long enough, and just so, Creep could make sure Sonic.EXE heard what he said.

The wording about Majin not being evil has context to it. In Sonic CD, there was a screen that was made by one of the designers with a render of his and Sonic’s face, which created what we now know as Majin Sonic, and while the intention was to say the fun is infinite in CD, people were unnerved because of the look of Majin Sonic, and the alias the designer went by at the time, Majin. Which sometimes translated to Demon.
