there's not much difference . i love them both. i was so going to get the xzp because of the funs I had with my z2 but after I holded them both in my hands i decided to go with s8 which is my first samsung phone. because the colors and brightness on s8 was much much better and i love the new shape. cuz i really hate physical home buttons.
All I was looking was that both phones discharged the battery in 4% during the video but the XZP wasn't even having a simcard and that uses a good amount of battery. Willing to see a battery test between this two phones.
speed tests are what they are, real world use nobody is gonna notice the difference. Both great phones in their own right just a matter of preference. Love my s8+

The performance of these phones is extremely close. For me, the display and screen to body ratio is the deciding factor here, which puts the Samsung over the top as the winner. Even with the Sony 4K display, the OLED screen on the Samsung S8 is unmatched.
The XZ Premium animations appearly are on 0,5. The S8 has a slowly animations to be (I don't know the Words "más agradable a la vista" on English). But Sony is back, I was waiting some time for this.
I just got the s8 and I love it. seeing this s8 seems a bit slow compared to mine. mine loads games fast and everyday applications fast with no lag and has no problem loading GTA. maybe because mine still New. But good test.

Don't let Samsung Experience distract you from the fact that it's built on Lagwiz and will always and forever be laggy. I've used both Samsung and Sony devices in the past. Sony's software is second to none. Sits right after the Pixel. Sustained phenomenal performance and feels like it keeps getting better with every use! Sad about it's pricing though but you get what you pay for.

at this point in time all phones are decwnt so even if one phone is faster by a milli second its ok. speed tests are kinda not what sells a phone but more the display the battery the way it feels and how ergonomic it is
both of the phone have 3 screen to scroll Samsung can hold 24 apps on one screen and Sony can hold only 20 apps on one screen...in a fair test you should make sure that both phones are formatted and hold equal amount of apps thank you
The multitasking test is unfair. You didn't wait for the S8 to load two large games, which the Sony had loaded, thus the Sony had more stuff to keep in RAM.
Though the sony smartphones looks so old in terms of design. Yeah, the s8 takes a bit more time to load but for that it's just way more beautiful designed.
Think i saw it in android authority review that XZ premium has its animation turned off out of the box so .. you can see the galaxy loaded the games faster consistently

How its posible , in the diferent matches Sony is faster then Samsung S8+ in the all aspects . For example in the Phone Battles ?

Though the sony smartphones looks so old in terms of design. Yeah, the s8 takes a bit more time to load but for that it's just way more beautiful designed.
Think i saw it in android authority review that XZ premium has its animation turned off out of the box so ..

I think Samsung has a little bit of animations in terms of opening apps thats why it is little bit slow compare to Sony that has .5 animation speed, I think.
How many years have you waited for sony to bring out a good phone finally tech trinket? Most of us know you have been a super sony fanboy. It looks like you are comparing a 2013 phone to a 2019 phone. Even the s8plus will be more comfortable to hold compared to the xzp with a much larger screen
Sony has always made great phones, but they should use the XA bezelness displays in their flagships.
They made a great phone in the z3 then went downhill until the xz premium. I have always said the xa was the better design. But guess what? the xa are made by a 3rd company not sony.

the Sony XZ premium is the better smartphone Samsung Galaxy S8 faster it's 4K it looks extremely beautiful and it also has an excellent and it also has faster speeds in the category of looking up things life goggle RUclips and other places of information and sites looking up anything you need to find it is much faster looks much better and it also has the best 4K displayed that I have ever seen before Sony was slower it didn't have as I saw before a better signal now it does the Wi-Fi is extremely fast and it captures any site that you look for extremely fast faster than the S8 and it has 4 gigabytes of RAM just like the S8 so it's not that the phone has features that are above Samsung in any way it just that they may a better phone this time even though it's a 5.5 display it looks huge is what Samsung was trying do quit the S8 and S8 Plus to S8 Sony has how much bigger display even though it's 5.5 then the Samsung display that is 5.7 display comparing it to sh thank you Sony for making a better phone this time than Samsung I'll be buying one very soon I like the comparison that they did with Samsung Galaxy S8 and the it shows Sony is a much better smartphone.
actually you can tweak the animation speed so it came out faster
i am no Samsung fanboy but i think sony has a huge advantage of having animation almost switched off
Sony's design is Ugly, impractical and cheap yet the performance is top notch on this one.
XZ Premium is a beast but that backlight bleeding on the the top bezel is unacceptable
