There is no need to hydrate when drinking coffee. Although caffeine is a mild diuretic the amount of water most use in their coffee is more than adequate to.counter this.

How am I just seeing this now? All great information, thanks, Alyssa! I just happen to have a chef's recipe for homemade salad dressing that's yummy and good for you too! I make one recipe, keep it in a jar with lid in the fridge, and use 2-3 teaspoons per salad!
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp any vinegar you like
      1 tbsp Dijon mustard
      1 tbsp water
Put lid on and shake! It's delicious and stays emulsified! My husband and I eat a big salad every day, so this recipe lasts a few days, then I make a fresh batch. No need to buy bottled dressings with long ingredient lists.

I’m a believer. I’ve done well at not eating inflammatory foods anymore. I’ve seen how much of a difference that’s made. Now I’m working at adding in anti inflammatory foods and am hopeful that will also make a difference. I’ve lost 120 lbs and kept most of it off for 7-8 years so I know I can make changes in my diet when I need to. I really appreciate the specificity of the information shared in this video.

Sauerkraut for probiotics. I haven't found any flavoured yogurt low in sugar so maybe a plain yogurt based veggie dip recipe would be good. Thank you for the inspiration!

I am enjoying your videos very much! You are very thorough with explanations. I was wondering if you could answer this question for me, I really like your two osteoporosis workouts that you do outside. My question is about stomping, I just always read so much controversy about the stomping and the possibility of silent fractures for those of us that do have osteoporosis/osteopenia. Can you please share your thoughts? Thank you so much I truly appreciate it.

Why isn't there a statement about dangers of mercury in Tuna? Fish oil, I take Nordic Naturals (3rd party tested) brand and the addition of Vitamin D3 helps with making it better assimilated. Also, some people are sensitive to peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes...nightshades. Your material is much appreciated, it's just that many people these days rely (unfortunately) online info. So, I feel it's important to give the cautions as well. Especially when targeting a population with serious health problems

Do you have a video of foods to avoid? I was just diagnosed with arthritis in my right hand, knees, and hips. The right hand now is just killing me. My ring finger is so tight and painful when I bend it, if I didn’t know better, I would think I had injured it in some way. And I never had issues with that finger. I’m trying to best maneuver my way through this because it’s new to me. It honestly seems like it came on me suddenly. My hip is the other issue. My knees, I can seem to manage…I do follow several PT’s online for exercises. It helps. Thanks again.

I love citrus fruits for snacks or dessert--also all kinds of berries.

Actually I've reduced overall inflammation, and knee arthritis pain by following a very low carb diet. It has also allowed me put type2d in remission. Its not for everyone asit requires significant lifestyle mod but its saved quality of life.

As a vegan who can't have caffeine, there are only about 4 or 5 left. 😉 I do use the ones I'm able to eat/drink, except citrus, just because I don't like the ones we get here (as they don't grow here...and once you've had some fresh off a tree, you can never go back to out of area store bought). I do find that sugar causes a lot of inflammation, and I do have a sweet tooth ...so that is my biggest struggle.
