Your just plain Amazing..I'm due for knee replacement my pains gone for a month. No more pain meds..I just excersis gently like u say. Now not sure if I should go for knee replacement. I am bone on bone...love your site . Not even using a brace or ace bandage
Sorry if this posts twice. This is awesome! I have rheumatoid arthritis and noticing I'm getting weaker, knees, hips, feet, all weaker. I jumped out of bed to give it a try. It was incredibly difficult and I had to lightly place my foot staggered for the first few reps but then after 5 or so, i could do it one legged! Yay! This is going to help balance, hip flexors, as well as all over strength. I did 2 sets of 10 then subscribed! Thank you!
Hi Alyssa, have you heard about castor oil compresses? I’ve used these a few times on my knee and have found it very effective. I often just rub in the oil directly all around the knee joint, especially at night before sleeping, enabling the oil to work its magic over night. It’s incredible stuff!
I have partial knee osteoarthritis and i use a neoprene knee support when working out and let me tell you it helps alot keeps it warm...movement is the lotion 👍
Both knees replacement left shoulder replacement right shoulder needs replacement .very painful all the time. Left nefrectomomy anti inflammatory tablets not allowed.please help and advice
My best advice would be to stay living in a warm climate if you can - England in the cold and wet is a killer for arthritis pain whatever remedies you apply!
Alyssa I had been seeing so many videos on my joint problems but wasn't able to which to follow But now each one of your video is helpful n works magical .Thankyou so much.
Thank you for this video… I love all your gentle n effective exercises ❤️Recently I mixed a few drops of frankincense with a carrier oil n gently rub my point of pain in my hips n it really helped! Thought I would share🥰
I have been watching your videos for awhile. The exercises you have posted are really helpful. Like most of us watching I am in pain all the time and it’s increasing as I am aging. But I will still fight the fight and keep moving until I can’t anymore
Yes I just know is totally sincere- Sometimes hard to know exactly where to start but yes arthritis is the issue here (left side of left hip) I feel more hope with Alyssa than anyone I’ve heard and over the years I’ve seen and heard a lot- feel like I’ve been waiting for her for so long Yay!!!!
Wow that's awesome thanks for the info much appreciated and have a peaceful night. I'm suffering both of Rhoumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. I'm from Vereeniging Vaal South Africa. Thanks for sharing this video.💝💕💖💖♥️
hi, i saw your interview on Lillie Kane, came over here right away and subscribed. i’m lucky that i actually have LOVED exercise since the 70s when aerobics became popular. looking forward to trying out your exercises because i am in some much pain all the time right now. thank you for detailed videos.
This is incredibly helpful information. Thank you! I have exercises I want to do to relieve hip pain, but the pain is preventing me from doing them. Here you've given things I can try to alleviate that pain so I can get on with the rest of the strengthening/stretching things I need to work on. You've gained a subscriber :)
This was so helpful; thank you so much. My last full body massage helped a lot to reduce my Osteoarthritis pain. I will be implementing these that you showed us. ❤
Thank you. I'm trying movement and it's really making a difference. Just did about 10 mins of cardio movements, like bouncing kicks and did foam rolling and feel way better. Sweating and I haven't done that in years. Thanks gain. Will keep watching.
Than you so mch Alyssa, you are an amazing teacher and I apreciate very much all those helpful tips and make sure I will check all recommendations to see what works for me. Blessing I love your channel
Hi, Alyssa! I’ve been using a vibrator on my lower back when my arthritis pain increases. I’m wondering what thoughts you have about this. Probably not good for knee arthritis,or hand, but in the back, where the bones are not close to the surface, it works well to stimulate blood flow.
Massage guns can be helpful to some for painful muscles but likely not painful joints themselves. Effectiveness depends on your pain levels, sensitivity, if swelling is present, and the intensity of the massage gun itself usually.
Hey Alyssa, both those didn't work for me, but the ARNICA spray worked really well and FAST. the gel did nothing. Thought i would share what's worked for me. Also I use knee tensors and help to ready swelling.
Not sure what your problem is or if you already had surgery but please check out my post in regards to Fascia Stretch Therapy - my son is fixing my frozen shoulder and I almost have full mobility back. I wish you well.
Thank you for this great educational info!! Another thing that I have found to be a great pain reducer is reducing sugar in the diet!! Once I realized how many foods have sugar and what adding sugar does I changed up!!! Thank you so much Alysss!! ♥️
Thank you so much for sharing these life changing tips. I personally have found so much relief from making dietary changes. I tend to have better results with a ketogenic diet. I’m going to experiment with the Mediterranean diet and compare results. Thanks again!😊
Thanking you brilliant advice ive been in pain with groyne pain and hip osteoarthritis n bursitis right leg forr over 3 yrs so painful cannot walk to much i find hest rubs help ease off pain short term and castor oil packs i do myself at night before bed Its up hill struggle recently had cortisol injection still waiting for pain relief 5 wks in from treatment 😢
Very nice 👍 knowledge of knees pain is the most important thing in my mind and I don't know how to get the latest information on knees pain stiffness and stuck jam joints 😢
Thank u so much for this information. Just got done with my ice therapy as I started watching this. Going to try an use my knee sleeve today and see if tht helps .. thanks again 🤗🎄❤️
Great tips. Thank you so much. Believe it or not, i've found shea butter to be very soothing for my osteoarthritic R knee. I'm 67 and i like rubbing a lump of it between my palms until it melts and then i massage my knee. Then, i pull on my knee compression sleeve and go for a walk. It's especially perfect to use in the cold weather as it insulates against the cold. I'm not suggesting it's as a RX strength analgesic or anything, i've just found that my knee hurts less after using it.
Hi. Do knee sleeves do the same that compresion socks do? I have severe osthroartritis in the hip, lumbar spinal stenosis, a lot of paun in the knees, protonutria.
Years ago, wise old family doc suggested using an ice pack on arthritic joints for a few minutes, followed quickly by a heat pack (the thought being that the heat application causes blood to rush into the painful area after it had been iced and that helped the pain). Any thoughts on this?
I go bone to bone in my knees doc won't me have surgery but I don't won't to be cut on I have pain in my knees an got gout in feet thank for video I been taking pain pills but don't won't stay on them
When I do Whole30, my inflammatory/osteoarthritis pain disappears within four days and doesn’t return until I’ve consumed foods/beverages that cause inflammation.
I get you I’m the same, 52 years old feel like an 80yr old😢, trying to my best to eliminate foods that cause flare ups but it’s hard!! Also in menopause, so fun!! It’s crazy, sometimes I feel I’m being tortured!!
I'm surprised you saìd that more people prefer heat. I crave cold therapy on my hands, because heat just increases the inflammation. Cold is soothing and seems to reduce the inflammation just a bit
I am just the opposite. If I use ice, it increases the pain, but heat seems to make everything feel just a bit better. It's crazy how different we all are!❤
I fell 2 months ago and injured a muscle. I am now able to get in/out of bed. Have started doing your exercises with out pain!! However I think it is fear that is slowing me down to a crawl. Before the fall my only problem was my lower back from disk, and off and on pain in knees.
I ove your exercises and your approach; thank you so very much…how about Lidocaine? My doc told me it is ok to mix cbd( no thc) with lidocaine and voltaran…works quickly and is long lasting(relatively speaking)
Hi, Alyssa! I have arthritis in my lumbar area (right side). Occasionally, I inadvertently pull my upper thigh muscle on my left side. A chiropractor told me that my pelvis is twisted, but she didn’t give me any exercises to do at home. Can you suggest any?
Your pelvis can’t quite get twisted as the bones are very stable. But you could have some asymmetries or muscle imbalances that allow you to move in a certain way to compensate. It’s important to address asymmetries if they exist (I.e one side weaker than the other, off balance, etc). I would start with a workout like this and see if you notice any side to side differences: ruclips.net/video/t-hEIomHaAU/видео.html If you need further assistance I do offer one on one consults for a movement assessment to help you find these asymmetries: calendly.com/adventurealive/movement-assessment?back=1&month=2022-01
You are such a a giver in this world of takers. God bless!
Ah thank you!
