I just discovered you. I’ve been recovering from an injured left knee from a snow skiing accident (partially torn ACL, partially torn MCL, fractured fibula). I did physical therapy mobility & strengthening exercises for the therapy which is now completed. I’ve realized the importance of mobility exercises after being inactive for the past 20 yrs. First 25 yrs being a high level athlete. “Use it or lose it” is true unfortunately. I’m having great difficulty with these deep squats & lunges because the injured knee has pain on the last 5% of bending. At this point, I don’t know what to do to finish off the last range of motion without pain. Any suggestions for exercises are invited. Thank you for these videos @Saturnomovement

Practice more Karate kicks or exercises that assimilate that movement. Off the top of my head, you can practice standing side kicks! You can do them in a dynamic fashion or try holding it isometrically. - Gala
It will help stretch the hip flexors, not necessarily strengthen them. To strengthen your hip flexors, you should think about compression exercises!
