No contact after 20 years. It’s like a death. The grief and mourning is hell! BUT stick with it! It gets 100% better. Stay the course! Get your life back! It does get so much better and opportunities open up that you couldn’t even see before.

They refuse to behave my narc ended up blowing up my text messages and texted my normal number again, I also had my phone on call forwarding and they pointed that out too “you changed your voicemail” like damn have someone respect for yourself and phuckoff lmfao
When I ended it, I told him don't reach out asking if I'm ok, don't drive by my house, if we run into each other in public - it's not a sign of destiny. It'd just be an unfortunate event.

I cannot stress how important it is to go NO CONTACT! Two years soon! Therapy helped but honestly, Lee has helped the most. He confirmed everything that seemed inconceivable to me. Yes it hurts, yes you will and must grieve, yes you should go to therapy. I have peace, I do not miss his lousy toxic ass. NO CONTACT is for you, it is the fast forward to healing. No contact is so underrated I swear!! But it helps sooo much! You will cry and feel like you are dying! But that is the breaking of the trauma bond and addiction to the person. I can’t completely go no contact because we have a 7 year old but the contact is VERY limited. I only respond to what I need to and only reach out when absolutely necessary. I am not mad or sad, really, just done and want him to stay away from me. It’s like once you clear from the fog, you start to see things for what they are. Yup! I’m going to be celibate for a year while in therapy, my self worth is so low after 7 years of abuse. I’d probably just cry if someone treated me with basic human decency so I absolutely cannot get in another relationship because I know I’d be an easy target.

His mistress came to the house and threatened to unalive me. I caught him talking to her multiple occasions and he promised to stop. He didn't. Then he started accessing me of cheating. I battled my narcissist ex husband for 8 1/2 years in court over our son that he didn’t even want, it was a power game to him. So abusive. I never gave up. He finally stopped.. had another kid and gave that baby our son’s name (I named our son while pregnant while living in a shelter when he abandoned me while pregnant) as a petty slap back to say he replaced him. Luckily we haven’t heard from him since. Trust me when I say that no tactic is beneath them.

I knew someone and I used to text them to check on their well being. I wasn’t a narcissist just concerned for them. Anyways when she got a new boyfriend she ghosted me for 8 months. She’s no longer with that guy and she’s homeless and wants me to help her, no way. Our relationship was always one sided, she was always the taker and never the giver.

Long story short, he texted me 2 days later acting like nothing happened, like he never said “we shouldn’t talk anymore” 🙄. What a shameless creature! That was when I finally blocked him for good. I cannot stress how important it is to go NO CONTACT! Two years soon! Therapy helped but honestly, Lee has helped the most. He confirmed everything that seemed inconceivable to me. Yes it hurts, yes you will and must grieve, yes you should go to therapy. I have peace, I do not miss his lousy toxic ass. NO CONTACT is for you, it is the fast forward to healing. And for god's sake, don't jump back into the dating pool...you'll pick another one. Note I said YOU! Learn how to set boundaries. Know your self worth. Healing takes time. Love yourself.
No contact is so underrated I swear!! But it helps sooo much! You will cry and feel like you are dying! But that is the breaking of the trauma bond and addiction to the person. I can’t completely go no contact because we have a 7 year old but the contact is VERY limited. I only respond to what I need to and only reach out when absolutely necessary. I am not mad or sad, really, just done and want him to stay away from me. It’s like once you clear from the fog, you start to see things for what they are. Like, I was really crying and wanting to be with a whole clown?! Very flawed, low character, lustful, porn addicted, lying, cheating, portrays to be a Man of God! I could go on and on but nah I’m good! I just can’t believe how fake he is. I will never and I mean NEVER allow any tears to fall down my face for him ever again!! Ugh

I just went no contact with my husband of 4 years. After cheating and name calling and blaming me for everything wrong in the relationship. I finally left have gone no contact for almost a week. His mistress came to the house and threatened to unalive me. I caught him talking to her multiple occasions and he promised to stop. He didn't. Then he started accessing me of cheating. He got really angry and cursed me out via text when I told him I wasn't coming back. He said he would throw away my clothes. I told him go ahead. I wasn't coming back. I battled my narcissist ex husband for 8 1/2 years in court over our son that he didn’t even want, it was a power game to him. So abusive. I never gave up. He finally stopped.. had another kid and gave that baby our son’s name (I named our son while pregnant while living in a shelter when he abandoned me while pregnant) as a petty slap back to say he replaced him. Luckily we haven’t heard from him since. Trust me when I say that no tactic is beneath them.

Me and the narc had an argument on Christmas, at this place. I left....for the last time. I spent Christmas alone. I cried a couple of times, but also felt so much peace. I knew then that it was near the end. I remembered that my bday was ruined but his, *I* made special. A normal human would have, at least, offered to make up a special day that they ruined. NOPE. I knew someone and I used to text them to check on their well being. I wasn’t a narcissist just concerned for them. Anyways when she got a new boyfriend she ghosted me for 8 months. She’s no longer with that guy and she’s homeless and wants me to help her, no way. Our relationship was always one sided, she was always the taker and never the giver.

I've gone NC with mine for the same reasons 6 mos, 1 yr & 4 yrs. I never missed her ever & very peaceful time for me. Her pattern was to seek me out cards, gifts in the mail & texts. I didn't respond, however each time I only did for our parents sake & within months she returned to her same behavior? I should've known better & now I do it's been 3 mos NC. History will repeat itself. I'm done.

My narcissist ex was so mad after I exposed him to his mistress, he texted me saying, “I think we shouldn’t talk anymore even as friends.” I gave his text a thumb up. It was always him anyway whom contacted me first even after I said I didn’t want to be friends with him and talk to him anymore. Long story short, he texted me 2 days later acting like nothing happened, like he never said “we shouldn’t talk anymore” 🙄. What a shameless creature! That was when I finally blocked him for good. It’s been 1 year since I went no contact with him. I’m so proud of myself! 😁 Of course he tried to hoover me. Didn’t work on me! Good riddance!

Well done! I always find this so interesting. I had an ex I would chase and chase anytime he'd break up with me (control related if i was seeing my friends). By the last time I was mentally checked out and he sent so much vitriol, I responded 'bye'. A few months later I started dating someone else and he messaged like 'oh you moved on quickly'
