- After my last round I hit the practice area to work on #putting and #chipping and get the #shortgame better. Did it make a difference? Will I be able to get below 50 today?
High handicap golf doesn't progress in a straight line. We all keep working with the faith that with practice we will improve. Thanks for joining me on my personal journey to stay below the #break100 mark! Please SUBSCRIBE and help us get to 200 subs if you can!
It really is the putting that could affect your game. I wouldn't say i'm a great putter myself, but it just takes time and practice getting used to the speed. The SPEED is the most important part of putting. I would suggest having a routine before each putt just to calm the nerves.
Thanks for the reply! I agree with you 100% on the speed. Will continue working on that!
One thing you might try on putting. It doesnt work for me but maybe it will for you. Take a few practice putting swings a few inches behind the ball. Try to get a feel for distance and putting feel.
I honestly just need lots more practice. Thanks for the tip, though!
This makes me feel good about my golf game. Thanks :)

You’re a better drummer than golfer. Not sure what that says about anything
LOL
Swing the shaft not the club head
Thanks! Appreciate the tip!
Have you had a lesson with a pro.?
Your grip looks odd to me.
Agree though, it’s the putting that can make the biggest difference to you scoring..
Yes. I use a baseball grip. Overlap feels very weird to me. Thanks for commenting!
@@SortaLikeGolf - yea, I don’t like the overlap / Vardon grip, but the ‘Interlocking’ is good and feels very natural..
