This is what we refer to as sarcasm. Also known as a joke. Have you never bladed a wedge, and sent it miles past the green when you're 30 or 40 yards out?
If not, you should set up your RUclips training channel and let me know where to sign up! 👍🏼

Dan, Not sure you will see this comment but I want to thank you. I've read your book and watched your videos and put in practice and your teaching has transformed my short game. I played my first full round of golf day before yesterday in over 15 years. Never in my life have I ever chipped pitched and gotten out of bunkers as well as I did during that round. The knowledge and confidence that comes from actually having a framework and plan to work within is astounding. So, I wanted to very sincerely thank you. Please keep up the good work. You are very much appreciated.

Down the middle not long but from 100 yard or less his game was superb, giving himself a putt every hole. I was all over the shop and he hammered me out of sight. • @apaulmcdonough2170
      @apaulmcdonough2170 8 месяцев назад

"Smash Factor" is the Ratio of Ball Speed to Swing Speed.
It is affected by Club Length and Loft AND Quality of Strike. A Driver swung at 100 mph that gives a Ball Speed of 150 mph is a 1.5 "Smash Factor" which is almost the Highest "S F" gets.
Ball Speed divided by Swing Speed equals "Smash Factor".

I read your book on holiday and found it interesting. The results, despite very little practice on grass yet, have been fantastic given I’m just adopting some of the basic concepts into my game so far. Yesterday’s round is a perfect example. I usually defaulted to a 60° for my green side shots, which I play a lot of. I’ve been forcing myself to keep this for “emergencies only” and it’s been eye opening. I was getting the release 1s so close that my putting reduced to 27 for the round. In all my short game SG was near 3 shots better than my handicap! Even using just your address positions really dialled me in for my pitching. I’m now really motivated to get in my garage to get my pitching numbers and get on the grass practice area asap to nail the releases! Thanks so much for introducing this system!

I really enjoyed that relatively simple, yet comprehensive breakdown of the Pitch. Made complete sense. Now, if I can manage to ease my grip, rotate around my left side, restrict my back swing to the prescribed length, and crisply strike my wedges as I smoothly turn through, only partially raising my right heel, at the same time controlling my release to contour the ball flight, I'll be at tap in range at the hole. No sweat...if I'm Seve Ballesteros back from the big sleep. Just kidding, Dan. Great instructive video.

The best thing about Dan is the consistency with which he teaches... Nowadays you see so many content creators uploading videos non-stop where they say one thing one day, and the opposite the next 😮‍💨 keep it up Dan 🥳

Almost done reading Daniel’s book, and let me tell you, it’s changed my game and melted strokes away. Would love a chance at lessons from him one day!

The technique has really help my greenside game and confidence. For this pitching video, I wish I could follow the ball with a ball tracker to really see the flight with the different set ups.

Amazing, I love the 1 ,2 and 3 system combined with stance width, I guess I've been under a Rock for a bit, I'm just trying to catch up on your content in the last 3 days, wow, information overload, but I completely understand you're thinking, watching idk 10 to 15 of your videos so far, in my eyes it's much more of a thinking shot, finesse, grip pressure, release pionts, and ive made my pitch and chiping work for years in my own way,, i could be way off base with that theory, but I'm hooked.Thank you Dan, I'd love to interview you, and see why the short game grabbed your passion. I can definitely see you're an Athlete, i kinda got away from golf content because Golf has turned into let's see who can drive onto the green from the tee box lately, I can't take , where has the game of golf gone, please bring it back lol lol. Thank you for breaking the short game down Dan, really impressive, and to be honest I'm no scratch golfer but the short game is by far my passion, i must have 30 different wedges in 1 golf bag, every combo you could imagine, I think I'm going to hole in every green side bunker, I'd much rather chip and hopefully 1 putt then 3 putt because it's not grabbing my attention, I get bored with putting and the 2 or 3 shots before I grab my wedge lol. sorry TMI, just inspired. Ty.

Wow. The distance control a1 to a3 is a good concept 👌 gonna give this a try

Got it. The right club, proper feet position, proper weight distribution, shoulder starts the turn, take away on plane, turning to target, proper finish postion, and somehow it's still a giant crapshoot. Still, you're the best.

I have recently adopted the A# system for my pitching, but found the difference between 1 and 2 and 2 and 3 too small and it was confusing me, so I’m just using A1 and A3 with all my wedges to create a wedge distance matrix. Thanks for the video!

So very helpful Dan thank you. I had to laugh when you mentioned 'heavy feet', i'm almost 7 foot tall with a UK size 17.5 shoe size, no problem for me 🤣.

Great stuff Dan just 1 request, would appreciate more video shots from the front when you strike the ball. I'm always interested in your finishing stance etc. Great coaching videos ,(the best actually)

Love it! I would've liked to see that 'leg action' from front view, I'm struggling to understand how much/if any transfer weight between left-right-left (also, since we're starting with weight on left foot)
    Thanks!

Thanks for another good video. I have your book and I am enjoying reading and putting it into action. Your videos are great, but if you would do some slow motion and some shot tracers, it would really help show more of what you are saying. Thanks again, the information has been a big help for my game.
