Sulfuras Smash is one of the most satisfying ways to kill an Abathur. It pretty much always one shots him, and I imagine that it comes at a bit of a surprise to them given how the slug goes about its business.
Sometimes it gets boring increasing the win chance by 300% picking it and sometimes I just wanna smash the f out of enemies, especially if it can synergize with other hard CC's. Feels so good to Sulfuras SMASH that Valla or Nova doing her Triple Tap.
Oh my god I was so hoping that you would say something about picking rag on braxis 😭 Let me do it myself: DON'T! As Fox said, Rag fails to 1v1 with almost every other bruiser (if your enemy has at least 2 brain cells) and is super gankable, so holding beacon (which is super important on braxis) will be extremely tough job. And be honest with me, sole reason why you insta lock rag on braxis is because of lava wave vs zerg waves, and... excuse me did you read what lava wave does? It insta kills minions and deals double damage to heroes, which means usually when you look at it you see it either using it insta kill or double damage effect; entities that are not affected by thies are camps and monsters... like zergs! Just get into a custom game and see how little damage the lava wave does to zerg. It only really affects zerglings while your biggest priority should be ultras and guardians. There are other rag's skills that are good for clearing, but is good zerg clear worth having shit bruiser for holding beacon thats amusingly easy to gank? If zerg clear is all you care about try picking fenix and see what properly casted planet cracker does to zerg. I assure you - it's way more than lava wave, and you dont have to just give up on north becaon because of this pick.
Finally a great showcase of Rag! A character who finally embodies his roles title, giving his enemy bruises while he gets bruised. Great video as usual fox
Great disclaimer on mentioning that Ragnaros operates most efficiently as a melee assassin rather than being a true "bruiser." I see a lot of people overestimate their tankiness (though E build Tempered flame + submerge is nothing to scoff at). Ragnaros definitely performs at his best when there's a tank to take the initial brunt of damage while providing CC for him to follow up on. Slow burn at level 4 is a mandatory talent. I am holding you all hostage. Combo it with your other abilities, or your tank. *You can get a little tricky with evading enemies by attacking whatever's nearby* NOOO WAY THEY PATCHED THAT? LMAO
Q build is my fav, when you hit those resets. I don't get to play it often but when the stars align it's very fun! I also kinda hate that W is the best and safest build :S
