Mike this video taught me so much. I just purchased the 22 features were overwhelming because a new car since 06 and things have changed a lot. what I will enjoy the most is the camera telling me where the curves are I can’t tell you how many times I’ve ran over the curves thank you very much.

I was upset that the gas door was push to open instead of having a latch inside the car, but now that u elaborated on that I now see that the push door is locked when the car is locked which makes me like it much more now. I'm having my morning coffee with Mike. Fantastic review and we get the bonus shots of the narrator's Ridgeline. I like the looks of the center stack. My biggest complaint is the location of the rear turn signals. When one is in traffic, trying to see turn signals that are low or near the back bumper is difficult. As always, I'm looking forward to the night review.

Great job on your overview of this vehicle. We traded in a 2017 Sonata Limited for the 2022 Tucson AWD limited. We were very satisfied with the Sonata, but wanted an AWD vehicle for travel. This Tucson is a beautiful vehicle; absolutely no complaints so far. We also had a 2013 Santa Fe, and with the design changes since then, the Tucson is every bit as roomy as the Santa Fe was.

I think Hyundai went above and beyond with this new Tucson! I don't like how all the controls are touch capacitive but that's the only nitpick I have about it. I don't mind having the turn signals and reverse lights on the lower bumper. It gives the driver behind it a reason to stay further back to see them.
I bought a 22 Tucson and love the car. Your video showing how to lock it without the fob is the first one I've seen. My SEL is a wonderful vehicle, love the driver's assist and the comfort. It's more comfortable than the Lincoln MKZ I was driving.
This review was perfect and well thought I like certain features but the cargo area isn't hitting it for me compared to other vehicles...thank you for this review it helped in my decision

Nice job explaining the entire car, noticed a couple of quality problems however, ill fitting material on right front seat and back of left rear seat when in down position, I'll watch for those problems next week at the dealers, Thanks for sharing
Those sharp creases on the side are pretty crazy. Hyundai seems to love to push the envelope with their new car design but then the look doesn't age very well. The front and rear look awesome to me though.
I’ve been waiting for the new generation to come out because I think this might be what I upgrade to. However the low level lights at the rear of the vehicle I am absolutely not a fan of. I noticed that on a new Santa Fe I was following behind and I can see it being an issue for people who don’t pay attention as closely who are driving behind you, or even when you’re trying to reverse out of a parking lot. Also not a huge fan of the center console, I can already see myself obsessing over every finger print. Lol
We just bought twin 2022’s one is limo black. Other is like graphite metallic (charcoal). Had the front windows tinted. Makes a big difference is look and also with sun
I think the rear turn signals and rear hazards are down WAYYYYY to low. How are they getting away with this. The reason they did the high mounted third break light years and years ago was for safety...and now this?
The design of this car is really nice and quite original. I’d love to buy a 2nd hand one here in Korea but they keep their value extremely close to brand new ones.
I’ve had my 2003 limited for a couple of months and I learned a couple of things I didn’t know (and I’ve read the manual cover to cover). I also noticed a couple of nice design touches in the video that I didn’t notice on my own- so great job on your review! Note: The diffuser redirects the air to the vents across the long trim on the passenger and driver side. A very nice feature.
How do you know how much gas you have left, tho? It seems like you can't see it. It does appear, but it only shows miles and not like other cars where you can see how much you got left.

It’s ISG (Idle stop and go). It’s that completely useless and annoying vehicle feature that shuts off your engine whenever you come to a complete stop. Then starts back up when you press the gas pedal. Ridiculous.
Real good review that gave me I very good lesson about the Tucson's advanced systems. Too much digital for my taste as I prefer buttons, but your in depth description and explanation on all functions of this suv should put prospective buyers and owners of this Hyundai at total ease.
p.s. I like the way the review began with the car reversing (underside view), it made me realise the transmission tunnel was missing a driveshaft (2WD version) ;-) but also gives you a quick look at the suspension setup, exhaust (otherwise not visible) etc. .. maybe its because Ive done a little work on cars, but I like to see "what's under the hood" too.

Some Kia and Hyundai models have the turn signals on the rear bumper. But it is pretty easy to spot them when it's blinking.
