You just made an 11min video titled 'How Much To Maintain My Ferrari 458 Speciale?' and your concluding answer was "not that expensive"
Hey guys, sorry I missed out the actual cost of the service - it turned out it was £0.00 cost which is why it skipped my mind to mention a price. I will show proof of this in the next video! Forgive the slip of info 🙈
Mr JWW and on that bombshell ❌
How much were the carbon paddles?
Mr JWW New title is much better 👍🏻
So what about the cost of other consumables, discs, pads, tyres Ferrari labour rate ect?
*awesome to see all that wind friction aero on the front James. Had no idea it did that lol! As always cracking video! Big fan of the new gt3! Amazing spec!*
Love
So a video explaining how much it is to run a supercar has absolutely no prices on how much it is to run a supercar. Brilliant.
Soooooooo.. how much. I don't know if I missed the part where he ran down the running cost or not, but I'm pretty sure he only talked about the 7 year free service thing. I'm pretty sure running costs fall under "maintaining" your vehicle, uknow, gas, insurance, road tax, mods, other hidden costs, uknow. It almost seems pointless watching about about cost if ur not going to cover those other things.
Edit: and I just want to point out that the current video title was changed FROM "How much it costs to maintain my Ferrari 458", to what it is now.
Kashmir he makes a whole fucking video about how much it costs and then doesn't say! These guys clickbait so much. That's the last time I watch these repetitive shit videos from these guys.
Lol, its not just me that thought it too I see.
Maybe some people have so much disposable income that the cost of a new set of boots is irrelevant !!
Mean while back in the real world....🙄
It all depends on you. He cant tell you how much it will cost for you in insurance. Tyres, brakes, fuel, depends on how and how much you drive. Service is the only thing that costs the same for everyone. Amd if you have to ask how expensive it is, its probably too expensive for you
Maurizio Arrivabene can he not give prices for tyres and brakes?? Too expensive my arse.
Mr PSB I agree mate. I watched a clip on here of a Veyron owner that declared his insurance for the car was 17k pa ! Yes ill never be able to afford one but its interesting to know non the less....
I still don’t know what the costs on the 458 is.
Love your content MrJWW. Keeps me going on my travels...
These videos just keep getting better. Just awesome. Loved seeing the car up close and going through each bit in detail. Legend.
didnt mention any costs?
Always a pleasure watching videos from Mr Jww. So interesting to see a speciale lifted up in the air like that. To see the active aero and how it feeds air to the back brakes!
Thank you for this James. This was a very exciting video. I love the small details about cars. Very very cool!
Had to put everything down, Mr. JWW uploaded a new vid !! Love the awesome content
Keep up the good work !
Great video, enjoy Mr 👏🏻👏🏻
Saw you at one of your Silverstone trackdays last week with the Speciale, had I not been so star-struck I would have told you how much I love the content you put out and would have thanked you whole-heartedly! Keep up the excellent work!
Excellent and informative as usual James
So interesting to see the details under the car. Thanks James cracking video...
How amazing is the 458 Speciale. Thanks for showing and explaining all the aero details and specs. One thing is when they mention the specs and another thing to see them from underneath. Truly remarkable. You gotta love the Speciale.
Insights like this which make your channel so enjoyable to watch. Nice one JWW. Look forward to the AM vid.
So how much was it then?
Definitely the most watchable guy on RUclips... always interesting, honest and easy to watch, great work James
That an amazing Speciale! Lots of things I didn't know about wind friction aero! The Ferrari is my most favorite Supercar and it great to see her once again.
Aw man i really enjoy your videos, best quality around and the content is just fantastic, you are nailing it kind sir!
been watching this guy for a year or so and i just cant understand how he doesnt have 10m subscibers...
btw loved the older 458 speciale alot more
keep up the good work and enjoy life
Love your channel !!
I like seeing videos like this sort of real world life - car maintenance. Great video as always.
Those paddle extensions are a must!
So, the running costs on a Speciale are cheaper than on a Ford Mondeo haha
Kia does that 7 years warranty XD
Good to see! :) Keep it up James!
What a pointless video and a hugely misleading title. In essence my Speciale went in for a service which didn’t cost me anything as there’s 7 years servicing included. Cost of changing tyres and brake pads well that’s anyone’s guess. And fuel costs vary depending on how hard you drive (no shit)
TrekkingTom i know right? What a fucking moron this guy is..
Pleasure to meet you today mate!
So cool to see the inner workings of a car like that👍
Great video. Ferrari has the best maintenance program out there
What a cool video, super interesting to see all those details of your Ferrari!
nice insight into your horse. James .and what it takes but 7yrs is awesome
Man you are the best👌👊
7 years is indeed crazy. According to the internet, a Ferrari can last up to 150,000 miles, and after some calculations that shouldn't take more than 5 years to happen to the average person who takes their car out every day of the week for up to 2 hours of driving, and 5 years would be if you're driving it at slow speeds. You're basically guaranteed servicing for the whole lifetime of your car which is amazing. I also find it really cool that you just get to hang out in their building and there's a whole kitchen so whenever you service it you can just hang around.
I'm a huge fan of this channel. The content is worth watching
I was researching the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb for this August. Saw this video and had to watch it. I don't think my dad's Morris 800 or the corsair with the Flintstones floor would have passed a MOT. But that was 1970 just before we came to Oz. Cheers.
Ferrari is such a beautiful brand. Great video as always, perfect spec on the Speciale.
Love your videos James as you know. Important tip though: if you plan to record away from your mouth, just quickly turn the mic around it will also fit in the slot the ‘wrong way round’ it’s a 5 second fix to the sounds and it will make such an insane difference!!
James, very enlightening on costs. thanks for doing this mate ! (Mike in Ohio)
Mr JWW, I believe there will be a position vacancy on Top Gear. Hope your casting tape is ready. ;)
no, please no. i think he is doing way better this way with collabs etc. top gear changes you as a person, you say all sorts of scripted stuff, action shots that are just too much for my taste, screaming like a lunatic etc.
Yes! I would 100% start watching again If he was on it, would fit perfectly!
Tit
Nah, James is far too good for that. Top Gear needs to go the same way as Old Yeller, time for the BBC to put it out of its misery.
It would really mess with the JWW brand having the BBC contract nightmare involved. We're in a new era and this account is navigating it with panache.
Loving the embroidery on the gt3’s armrest.
Top top film yet again ... so interesting , you give us an insight into a world most of us can only dream of , ..... 7 year warranty ! , never knew that
so how much is the cost ,you didn't answer according your title
P. Stavrou thanks u saved my 5 mins 😁
That was proper fascinating to see the functions of your ferrari
Fascinating to see the underside detail, which as you said, is normally hidden👍
PLS DO A GARAGE UPDATE!!! love your videos homie 👊👊
Really cool video James - pretty interesting insights. thank you :-)
Still an amazing spec!
Great insight to owning a car of that calibre.
James bringing us that all importend consumer advise!
I applied r888 on my 458 it hook super good on track days
I like the shop music
any news on the wrap of the gt3? originally remember you saying you were going to wrap it due to lack of colour options but looks like you're enjoying the miami blue?
Great video James as always. But what was the actual cost of that service with what you had replaced
Did you opt for the extension paddles? Would be interested in a greater in sight into costings.
Although not required.... brake pad costings? Tyres? Servicing (if you did have to fork out)?
Keep up the excellent content & look forward to more RS6 upgrades, S1 info along with all the amazing super car goodness 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Nice AP. When is the watch collection video?
Quite surprised that the 458 didn't need more work, and it gets driven like it should be. Can't wait to see an exhaust get fitted to it and the GT3!
MRJWW the "like before you watch" channel
Always know its going to be quality content.
I like how they got Usher, lil Jon, and Luda playing in the shop @ 2:42
Another brilliant video James, just wondering what our you getting miles per gallon ???
James the type of guy to pitch up to his 458 Speciale service, in his 911 GT3 😂👌🏻 Top quality mate
Hopefully in the future will get a similar video about your 488 Pista. :P
James, you do so enjoy putting your foot down and bringing the revs up don't you? ;-) I don't blame you, I do the same thing on occasion hehehe.
Quality video - mr jww
So either the Speciale is more robust than i expected, or you need to drive it harder on track! Lol. Nice to see it passed MOT easily. Cheers, James!
Lovely to see this aspect of the supercar lifestyle, didn't expect the tires to be so durable.
How long was the car staying there for the service?
You should customize your 812 SF red (of course) with a blue interior. Going old school baby
Im waiting for your garage update 😊😊
“Hi I’m James, I’m the technician working on your car here today at Ferrari Wilmslow” 😂😂😂
7 years free service. well. It is not really free. U can bet it is in the price when u buy a ferrari.
JWW, you should do a watch collection video
Could you do this type of video with your GT3 when the time comes for an MOT or Service ?
Nice AP :D
My OCD is killing me...can you have that underbody polished and PPF'ed, please !! 😱 ahahah
Another great video on background stuff we don't usually see. Thanks ! 👍
I'm sure you get that pretty often, but could you do a watch video? Collection, showcase, preferences, anything. Thanks :)
that's crazy talk. tires have more than enough treads left.
How many times have you changed the title of this video? ... nice video anyway Jimbo!
Great video. Where the rs6
Thumbs up for Usher playing in the background
Always think of B is for Build when I hear that music. :P
Sam recently changed his music up! It's refreshing when people don't use the tune you come across everywhere.
Great but informative video giving us a breakdown of different of what critical parts have to be serviced on a Ferrari. Sucks you can't provide us with approximate figures of running costs of ownership: insurance, tyres, oil, battery, especially for all of us that may one day own a supercar. Sign me up for a future ferrari with that amazing maintenance free warranty.
Your speciale is the nicest car I have ever seen. No joke
Please keep it and forever and keep on hooning it
And try to buy the Vantage you are using. How unique would it be to have a one-off Geneva special vantage
I miss the RS6. Anyway, great content as always!
Ok could you tell us wich you prefer:
paddles on the wheel (Porsche, Mclaren)
or paddles seperated from the wheel (Ferrari, Lamborghini)
I personaly think on the wheels are better you do not have to take your hands of the wheel mid corner (and smaller so no clutter)
Just had a SP Limonata last night. Great minds think alike...and so do ours! :)
Did you get the price for the extended paddles and the cost of fitting them?
Liked for the Sanpellegrino drink.
In Spain we call it ITV (Inspección Técnica de Vehículos or Technical Vehicle Inspection). They test brakes, suspension, ECUs (this one is recent, they make sure if your engine is powered up and that ECU tuning is homologated), exhaust sound, emissions, lights working properly, parking brake, seat belts, airbags and warning lights on the dashboard. You have to pay 50 euros more or less to pass the ITV, and if you don't, you have 2 levels of vehicle status. First level is desfavorable (you can only use your vehicle to move to the nearest workshop and fix the vehicle, if they catch you, prepare for a expensive fine) and the second level is baja del vehiculo (your vehicle gets his paperwork unregistered and it goes to scrapping). If you pass it, you get a sticker in your windscreen with the next date to pass it
Got my facts wrong lol. In baja del vehiculo depends on the state of the car
James, could you please sort out the low-pressure light on the GT3. It's hurting my OCD. Thanks
Aston Martin DB11 also come with 7 year service plan 😊
Usher playing in the background haha
I'm confused. I just watched the whole video and no actual cost was mentioned at all. How much were the new set of tires including install????
Great video, would it not be passive aero if it's actuated by the wind? Active areo would be the flaps on a Huyara ;)
Can we have a garage tour video?
Great video. You are a lucky man. I have to make do with my new Alfa Quadrifoglio which I pick up next week then straight to the detailers for PPF and ceramic coating. Just curious why you sent it to Dubai for PPF? Mine's getting Xpel Ultimate done in Oxfordshire. 👍
Congratulations! I love the Q! I didn’t send the Speciale to Dubai just for PPF, that was just one aspect of a 3 week trip out there exploring the whole car culture and track scene out there, just wanted to get it PPF’d out there because it hadn’t been done yet and NVN is the best place I have ever seen for PPF 👍🏻
How comes your plate doesn’t come up on DVSA or DVLA?
Hey James, is it really active aero or passive? What i mean is does the speciale decide when to open or is it just caused by the pressure of airflow?
