Yuup I Remember doing my 1st 348 F. For a oil change what a pain 😫 this video brings back memories I never done one of these cars before I just landed my 1st job right after I Graduated from Technical school for Cars
And my 1st oil change wow that Car was so super Ridiculous! It took me 1 hour to do and back then their was no RUclips video to show you. Back then you had to read super fat Books to help you do the job.
Coming from a current Ferrari master technician state side, avoid any Ferrari service centers that pay their technicians flat rate. The technician can not afford to take this much time and care with your vehicle. I should make some videos too, hmmm. Next DCT gearbox I do..

Because nowdays they have smaller engines and cars are getting bigger and bigger
Services are not that simple anyway. They either only do the changing of filters and oil, or not showing the full checklist which is required.
Because it’s supposed to be simple, in a normal car you have less work than the time it takes to drain the engine. Here you have a few panels and 3 drainage holes, down to earth engineer would make it so the holes were hidden with simple caps underneath and the air filter could be taken out without dismounting the side panels. That would also make them panels less prone to damage, and they really look flimsy as hell.

@@user-kb8gh5jv9t I doubt you had, as for example in Diablo it’s pretty much the same job, maybe even easier as you just drain from 1 hole and air filters are just boxes with good access. Things get hairy when you do REAL repairs and this one is no different, even shittier as it’s turbo’d.

Actually I'm curious what's the purpose of marking the bolts? I've rarely seen that as common practice by the mechanics
@@rizkyprilian2143 it's to save or mark the specified tighness of the oil filter or bolts for future use in this video he marked the oil filter cuz its plastic one more torque applied and it will crack

Yeah... Sure. But did't use any oil to lubricate sealings on oil filter cap, and base rod. Fully professional 🫤

It’s not the oil changes that are expensive, but just the costs of driveline and brake parts are expensive.
Service is included for 7 years when you buy a Ferrari.

You forgot to check dct and gear oil levels! This is required at every oil service. If the two fluids start mixing, it will cause catastrophic transmission failure and internal leaks will not give any fault on dash and won't be visible externally. It's in the yearly service inspection list

family cars dont hold 10 - 15 litres (qts) of oil, have several oil pumps, filters, holding tanks, etc ... but yeah it's still MAJOR ripoff

Короче шляпа🤣🤣🤣🤣 механик работает не застелив лакокрасочное покрытие. Пока сделает замену масло. Полностью зацарапает машину... да и перчатки надо почаще менять...

@@мирумир-р9е ты адекватный. Это заехал не рено и даже не лексус.... такая машина может быть в единственном экземпляре. Я в рено работал, накрывали крылья чтобы не повредить лакокрасочное покрытие. Здесь покрасить авто может стоит более миллионов рублей

Завод изучил масла на рынке и выбрал подходящее обычно это происходит так.
Есть масло хендай оригинал но в России его нет и завод сказал лить Шелл всё ок 🆗
@@ComradeM-r9p то что это масло не является PAO, а по факту HC. И лить масло в мотор 721 л.с которое подходит для обычных машин и не так хорошо держит нагрузки форсированого мотора это экономия которая потом вылезет поломками.

most likely parts cleaner, i go thru lots of it in my garage. dirt and engine internals do NOT mix. the classic cars I service eat gallons of rust - busting penetrating oil as well ... not an issue with new cars

People will never change oil change screw type bolt. Whether it may be a costly car like Ferrari or a low cost car. It's a low cost item, but once the screw shell line is missed thread and the screw slip starts and engine oil leaks, the costliest car engine life will be gone. It's nothing but car life gone just because of small part. No invention till date?

Removal and installation of all the shields and covers is very annoying and time consuming. Why can't they just put them on hinges with fasteners that lock and unlock?

Mas nota se não ser uma oficina credenciada Ferrari: não utilizou a chave eletrica manual para remoção dos parafusos das molduras, não utilizou a bomba de vácuo para remoção óleo carter, não utilizou o torquímetro pneumático ou manual para aferir a torção correta dos parafusos e por fim, ainda utilizou se de uma marcação incorreta de aferição, entre as porcas e o chassi do veículo. Me engana que eu gosto, ou o dono do carro, né......??

Шелл 0в40?🤨. Нифига ссе... и по замене ничего сложного. Порой на лексусе или пассо каком нибудь с кассетой поменять не легче. Где надо спец клапан промывать. Занимаюсь обслуживанием авто профессионально-с феррари ничего сложного не увидел. На официале скании когда работал-там куда сложнее-и работы больше с этой двухступенчатой очисткой масла

Not sure, but i think that a torque key have to be used for the oil's bolts...
I noticed it as well, pretty sure the oil drain plug has a torque specified by the manufacturer.
All that engineering and they couldn't just make an easier to remove section to access oil drain points without removing the whole damn bottom plastic? 😑
