It's crazy people liking a teams construction and then people hating on it for essentially no reason because all of the new players have been hurt almost all year which can't be predicted. Gabe Vincent hurt, Cam Reddish hurt, vando (not new but a starter in their playoff run) hurt. That's literally a quarter of the 12 man team. I wish people could see beyond hating lebron. As if injuries are lebrons fault, as if having terrible Prince in the starting lineup is lebrons fault. The man is literally 100 years old in basketball years and is still a top 5 or 7 talent in the NBA.
@@teamtakeover7317 I'm not hating on LeBron my point is that Nick says the roster isn't that good when in the off season he loved the roster. What you said about injuries is absolutely correct but that's not what he said
Broussard defending darvin ham is amazing. I watch A LOT of NBA. Darvin is legitimately a nincompoop of a coach. He literally is unable to plan beforehand or adjust in games. That's coaching. You can't deny that.
Nick is right, Ham is the problem. Bad lineups, not calling timeouts during runs, playing certain guys too much (prince, vincent) and other guys not enough (Rui, Christie). It’s not always the coach’s fault but sometimes it is. I feel like they win games despite Ham. Brou gets the L on this one.
I don’t understand how nobody can understand the issue…..Bron sits they’re down 6, by the time he comes back in they’re down 17/18. The man is 40 and can’t even breathe but has to watch D Lo ONCE AGAIN going 3/11.
Because when Lebrons on the Floor DLo isn’t playing PG. Then he has to completely change his mindset when Lebron sits and that never works. It’s the same exact thing as Westbrook. DLos even worse because when he’s not engaged just moving around the 3 point line his defense gets even worse.
then what was vogels issue? I agree with Chris, everytime Lebron's team doesn't do well it's the Coach Fault even fired the coach that won a championship just a year later tell me why?
I’m glad that Nick finally said it. You can’t say “he’s a great coach cuz they’ve been doing better lately” and ignore the fact that they had a trash starting lineup for 50 games. It’s ridiculous
Minute he blamed Lebron, he was tryna deflect and take attention of Ham. The point is that Ham isn’t getting the best out of this roster, he’s made questionable lineups, coaching decisions, and has a roster that is capable of being top 4-6 seed. Lebron wants to win every year
@@TheEverlast190 Facts!! I genuinely believe that the Lakers getting to the WCF, with Ham as Head Coach, may have been one of the worst things to have happened to the team (as weird as it sounds) because people started incorrectly attributing the team’s success to him. The man made 0 adjustments, and when he tried, they were all inconsequential.
It's definitely coaching. Since the start of the season, the benching of Rui is a mystery when back in the last season, they went far to WCF with him but preferred to start Taurean Prince. Prince is better off the bench so why it took so much games to realize that Rui should be starting. Another thing, when they are making some runs when they are cutting deficits, Darvin Ham always took out the hottest player on the Lakers, then experiment some line ups and do some stupid small ball or 3 guard line up.
I think Rui was being punished for not being a great rebounder and doing some not so high IQ things on the court (he's been better recently). I recall Ham back then talking about what they want him to do and how much they want him to improve in certain areas. Problem is he looked, and I think even mentioned being unsure what his role was anymore as he had lost all momentum from the previous season. Whole situation has been weird and it comes down to the coaching decisions at the end of the day.
That lineup is criminal 😂 Vincent out 90% of the season, Dimwiddie who was basically dropped and not picked up by anyone, Prince who’s just… fine. D-Lo who had a bad game, and Hayes. 4 guards and a 3-rd string center… when the game is teetering 😊

Chris’s lakers take is as good as Darvin’s coaching philosophy. Blame the players. Chris b. Gets away with bad takes all the time. Darvin Ham gets a pass from him but lebron getting a nearly 35 point triple double still get some blame. This dude reasoning is always some shade towards LeBron backed up by saying how much he loves lebron lol dude does it all the time.
Tell me you don't understand basketball. lol Yikes. Nick Wright is teaching everyone to blindly look at stats without context and create your own narratives. The Lakers have NO chemistry. They rebuild the team every half season so it makes sense as to why they lack chemistry a lot of the top teams have. LeBron doesn't play help defense at all. He doesn't play off the ball, at all. He sits in the corner blowing on his hands. He is only effective when he can drive to the rim and generate fouls. When he doesn't get the calls he whines to the refs, forcing his team to be a man short on the opposing fast break. He is a streaky shooter, at best. So yes, LeBron can generate insane stats, but its at the expense of winning team basketball. It's why the offense is so much more efficient when he doesn't play. There is far more motion, and sharing the ball. Sure, change he coach. If you think that would make them any closer to a chip then you're delusional. The NBA talent is too good, and there are too many teams with legit chemistry to where you can't just throw random spot up shooters and role players around 2 superstars and expect to win. And replacing half your roster every half season or off season is only going to make it even more difficult. I just find it sort of spineless to put all the blame on Ham, as if there aren't other glaring issues on that team. All just to avoid being honest about LeBron and how he affects this team.
He not blaming lebron he speaking facts💯nick wasn’t saying nothing about the coach when they was winning but the moment they lose he blames the coach ‼️
Broussard doesn’t get the point, The lakers run to cut it to 5 with warriors shooting the lights out. lakers have all the momentum and he takes out Rui Reaves Bron…..How as a basketball analyst do you not blame that on coaching.
The biggest mistake is firing Vogel just because the GM does not want to admit they butchered the roster by getting Russ W. and not paying the core championship roster. Easier to blame Vogel at that time than admitting and correcting their mistake with that unfit roster. That is the Lakers downfall after the chip.
Darvin Ham is 100% to blame for the Lakers lack of success. It took him more than half the year to figure out the starting lineup that I knew since day 1. DLo, Reaves, Rui, Lebron and AD. He has the worst line ups I’ve ever seen. He wanted to AD to shoot 3s in the beginning of the season even though he’s not a good 3 point shooter. A Good head coach makes a system based off what his players do well, not make the players fit the system he wants them to run.
Chris sounds crazy. The Lakers players are a bit lazy to me but to act like Ham isn't a horrible coach is blasphemous. And to act like LeBron isn't playing great and impacting winning is also blasphemous
Darvin Ham can put out some very bad line-up that simply dont make sense. Early in the season Ham was on the hot seat for a reason . Why would you try to out small the Warriors? When i saw that 4 guard line-up at the end of the 3rd i had to check and see if Steph was still playing.
Nick is right. I don't know what Chris is listening to. Ham is the biggest problem. Starting Prince was one of the dumbest decisions and he constantly makes dumb lineup decisions.
I'm not sure how Nick doesnt lose his mind talking to brou. Pretty sure brou didnt even watch that game last night. Within 5, Prince, took the next 3 shots & missed with that terrible lineup Darvin had out there. Pathetic.
33 and 11 on 14/22 from the feild. Forget the stats, he was obviously dominant in offense for Lakers and when he was out there they kept up with GSW with the hitting everything. He’s not giving it you on defense during regular season, we all have known that for at least half a decade. Brou not right today
@@kingnaz8465 lakers cut the game to 5 points Ham subbed out Lebron Reaves and Rui for mins and watched the warriors go on a 12-0 run and didn’t call a timeout. The lineup of the court was DLo Gabe Spencer TP Hayes. Thats lineup played 0 minutes together the entire season. Whose fault was that?
Darvin Ham is the issue bc he controls the lineups. It’s genuinely that simple. For the past few months the lakers have been one of the best teams in the league (based on record) and the reason it took that long is bc Ham REFUSED to use the lineup that got them to the WCF for half the season. If they hadn’t wasted all that time, they’d likely have a better record or AT THE VERY LEAST wouldn’t be able to blame his lineups as the reason they can’t get win. Simple.
So according to Nick, Giannis and Lebron have super recovery powers... Not just exaggerating injury issues. Like to see how that theory stacks up over time.
Lebron is literally the most durable athlete the sport has ever seen. He’s now 39. And your take is “he’s just being dramatic”, lol. hope you have a good day kid
Point was, when legitimately injured, recovery times are no different than other players. Look at game missed. They both play up being hurt otherwise. All of the lakers fanatics and bronsexuals was raving about the lakers

BROU SAID HE THOUGHT HAM DID A FINE JOB 😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡
THANK YOU NICK! I been confused since day 1 why Taurean Prince has been getting so much love from DHam. Its ANNOYING

Lebron wasnt even on the court and apparently it was still his fault. Broussard come on. Ham shoudlve called timeout and got that awful lineup out.
It’s always gonna be his fault even when he retires just deal with it
Yeah people will always blame Bron or even say the team is better without him. It's a losing argument
@@QuanBerrycan’t wait for that day

I don’t understand how nobody can understand the issue…..Bron sits they’re down 6, by the time he comes back in they’re down 17/18. The man is 40 and can’t even breathe but has to watch D Lo ONCE AGAIN going 3/11.
Because when Lebrons on the Floor DLo isn’t playing PG. Then he has to completely change his mindset when Lebron sits and that never works. It’s the same exact thing as Westbrook. DLos even worse because when he’s not engaged just moving around the 3 point line his defense gets even worse.
They play better when it’s just dlo and AD lol
Honestly, chris isnt even trying to listen. Ham is a huge reason why they are where they are. Everyone (except bron haters) can easily see that.
Don’t make too much sense now, there bias won’t accept that Darvin ham can’t coach 😊
then what was vogels issue? I agree with Chris, everytime Lebron's team doesn't do well it's the Coach Fault even fired the coach that won a championship just a year later tell me why?
It’s actually lebrons fault but lebron lovers will never see that
I’m glad that Nick finally said it. You can’t say “he’s a great coach cuz they’ve been doing better lately” and ignore the fact that they had a trash starting lineup for 50 games. It’s ridiculous
Facts
Brou is really weird with the Ham stuff. Ham is SOOOOO bad
Ham stinks
This season: +204 with LeBron James ON court -174 with LeBron James OFF court
Brou's defense of Ham doesnt make any sense.
It doesn’t make ANY sense whatsoever!!!
Did he forget the loker room article?
Minute he blamed Lebron, he was tryna deflect and take attention of Ham. The point is that Ham isn’t getting the best out of this roster, he’s made questionable lineups, coaching decisions, and has a roster that is capable of being top 4-6 seed. Lebron wants to win every year
@@TheEverlast190 Facts!! I genuinely believe that the Lakers getting to the WCF, with Ham as Head Coach, may have been one of the worst things to have happened to the team (as weird as it sounds) because people started incorrectly attributing the team’s success to him. The man made 0 adjustments, and when he tried, they were all inconsequential.
its got to be a personal thing. I dont think brou likes calling for black coaches jobs on prime time
Weird -- I could have sworn the Warriors were in this game with the Lakers too, not just L.A. vs. its shortcomings
Shout out Nick for putting pockets ham on blast it's been needed to be said
Brou missed the point the entire time he’s arguing a point nobody was making.
TP is trash unless he's just catching and shooting.
I love Broussard - He took a massive L this segment
Chris’s inability to put any Blame on Darvin should be foreable. My gosh man. And I’m not even a laker or lebron fan. But it’s plain as freaking day.
No. Lebron isn’t playing as well as the numbers suggests. If you watch the games Lebron gets his numbers but he’s not competing.

Chris’s lakers take is as good as Darvin’s coaching philosophy. Blame the players. To start the season the lakers had a ton of injuries with their role players and then when they got healthy Darvin was running terrible starting line up and rotations. Then he had the thought to try what worked last year post deadline!

It can't always be the coach's fault.
Bron would get the credit for the Win therefore he gets the credit for the Loss.
@@thialhoinj1971well, when it is the coaches fault, then I think it makes sense to blame the coach 😭
Broussard doesn’t get the point, The lakers run to cut it to 5 with warriors shooting the lights out. lakers have all the momentum and he takes out Rui Reaves Bron…..How as a basketball analyst do you not blame that on coaching.
The lakers got within 5 and he subbed bron and rui out 😭that’s on ham 😭
The biggest mistake is firing Vogel just because the GM does not want to admit they butchered the roster by getting Russ W. and not paying the core championship roster.
Easier to blame Vogel at that time than admitting and correcting their mistake with that unfit roster. That is the Lakers downfall after the chip.
Darvin Ham has been absolutely atrocious as a coach. His lineups and lack of in-game decision making are absolutely killing the Lakers right now.
Bad take by Brou. Darvin Ham's rotations are atrocious.
Yet just last week nick said the lakers are the 2nd best team in the west😂😂😂

Nick always saying something historic happens when the lakers lose 😂😂😂
Darvin Ham is the issue bc he controls the lineups. It’s genuinely that simple. For the past few months the lakers have been one of the best teams in the league (based on record) and the reason it took that long is bc Ham REFUSED to use the lineup that got them to the WCF for half the season. If they hadn’t wasted all that time, they’d likely have a better record or AT THE VERY LEAST wouldn’t be able to blame his lineups as the reason they can’t get win. Simple.
