C’mon Nick with that lions speech now we all know Now Nick like to hear his self talk I can see it clearly now… Nick what u sipping on Brody?? As of today the lions has the best record in the NFL don’t come to Detroit dude that’s official😮
Nick saying he doesn't value the Lions because they beat up on bad teams but had Dallas in the superbowl last year when they only beat tomato cans is definitely a Nick take.
He literally said they're a good bet to make the SB tho because they're the best team in the conference, y'all love changing his arguments to make him sound stupid don't y'all 🤣
Right, they blowout teams like no other. Goff is solid and the team is so cohesive. This coming from a Vikings fan. I'm hoping for a Ravens - Lions Superbowl ( as my happiest likely outcome).
The argument he makes against Jared Goff is the same argument he'll make for Tua. The Dolphins offense isn't the same without Tua. The Lions offense wouldn't be the same without Jared Goff.
Nicks takes to begin the year are falling apart😂😂 only thing he can hang on to now is the chiefs winning the Superbowl. What would he be if it wasn't for the chiefs.
He never claimed Mahomes is having a better season than Goff, but who do you have more faith in to lead their team to win it all? The guy who a team traded to wit it all after or the guy who has 3 rings already?
@@Chigz10they didn’t just ship Goff away and then insert Stafford and win the Super Bowl. They already had Aaron Donald, quite possibly the greatest D Lineman ever not named Lawrence Taylor (and Donald debatably won them that Super Bowl on the last drive by taking over the game himself). They also added (if I’m not mistaken) $100M worth of talent around Stafford. Goff has gotten two different teams to NFC Championship games, and one to a Super Bowl. He had the greatest 6-game stretch of any QB in NFL history. They’ve put up 50+ twice this year and 40+ four times behind Goff with his tight-window throws, deep ball accuracy, and excellent decision-making. There was a stretch this year where the Lions had more offensive touchdowns than Goff incompletions, AT THE SAME TIME as Mahomes had more INTs than TDs. KC has had 12 of their last 15 wins come by a touchdown or less. I think the argument that "well Mahomes has won back to back so the Chiefs are the best team" is so lazy and unintelligent. We may as well never play an NFL season again if thats your logic, because the Chiefs will just never not win the Super Bowl again. The Chiefs have looked absolutely pedestrian for large stretches of the season against bad teams, needing their defense, not Mahomes, to win games. Watch the Lions and watch the Chiefs against teams of similar talent and tell me the Lions wouldn't hit the Chiefs with a garbage can and throw them down a flight of stairs.
Nick hates Goff because A. He's better than Mahomes this season, and there's no doubting that unless you have some deep seeded bias B. Mahomes can't beat Goff So basically just a bunch of insecurities of a fragile man who has a track record of being full of shyt
Not that I don't think that was a ridiculous prediction, because it clearly was, but making a hot take prediction is different from making a hot take assessment of a team based on games played in this season.
He hates the lions because he knows they're coming to stop his chiefs. If Mahomes had JGs stats even with the 5 pick game he'd be screaming from the roof that he's undoubtedly mvp. Ja-red Goff! Baller!!!
LOL maybe its has somthing to do with the last 30 years of losing I give you last year was very good as well as this one but the Lions curse still lingers and that stink is still there and will take 5 or 6 seasons of winning to get it off!
Nick saying that 2 of Lamar’s 3 worst games came against 2 of the 3 best defenses he played like that is proof that he’s choking feels a bit disingenuous to me.
His selectively calling Pittsburgh big games and not Cinci is also ridiculous. Reality is he doesn’t choke big games it’s just that, as Brou said, Pittsburgh has his number and the Chiefs losses are just cos the Chiefs have been better and the playcalling has been bad in some of them
If you're the MVP of the league, you find a way to win against good defensive teams. Lamar is a solid QB, but has proven he can't win the big games. he's going to have to prove us wrong
I don’t listen to Nick. Anytime any team might be better than the chiefs or a threat to them he downplays them or tries to make an argument to make them look bad. Just stop. The lions are the best team in the NFL.
@@Richie-hc5se Nick Wrong claiming Jokic wasn't the best basketball player in the world while averaging a 30 point triple double was the beginning of his downfall as an idiot hater.
What does Henry fumbling on the first play of the game, Tucker missing two field goals which would’ve won them the game, the 12 penalties on the team, Justice Hill getting the ball snatched from him that counted as an interception, have anything to do with Lamar? I’ll give you the two point conversion, but to say “Lamar played bad so they lost” is not telling the full story. They’re just a flawed football team.
You’ll never hear Nick tell the full story with Lamar. He still believes Lamar played “terribly” against the chiefs in week 1. No evidence to back that up
I wonder if he even watches them play or realizes the stats. "Goff sucks against pressure" sure, except he's literally the bestcQB in the league against "pressure" stats wise. Dude had a stinker of a game last week no doubt, it happens. But he also kept his head down and was clutch when needed and lead them into position for Bates' FG. JG is top 5 idc what anyone says, dude is legit.
Nick clearly didn’t watch the Lions v Texans game. Yea Goff threw 5 ints but 3 of which weren’t his fault (tipped passes and a Hail Mary before halftime). If mahomes did the same he would find every excuse in his book to defend him. It’s hilarious actually.
this! did anyone watch that game? only 2 of the ints were legitimately his fault and they still won and he made some clutch throws. we’ve all seen brady or manning have games like that where they get frustrated, force the ball a few times etc
@@nicknorasidnancy The fact that Goff had 5 turnovers and the Lions STILL found a way to win the game is a sign they are a great team. And last I checked football is a team sport and the Lions got playmakers on both sides of the ball
I mean Jesus Nick. Goff is a civilian at quarterback…that means you could be doing what he is doing back there because you are a civilian. If Mahomes had Goff’s stats, he would be glazing all over him even more
That choice of words is beyond insulting. Goff is one of the 10 best quarterbacks on the planet right now. The entire planet. Goff's a civilian because he doesn't run around like a Lamar or a Josh. This is borderline slanderous.
The biggest difference between nick and skip is that nick is willing to admit some of his wild takes are wrong. It doesn't happen often lol but will do it.
the only thing i’ll say about that is that the celtics were knocking on the door and failed to win the big one for multiple seasons. the lions have been great for 2
Jared Goff is the number one ranked QB against the blitz this season. They still talking about his last season in a rams jersey??What are these casuals talking about??
Goff's interceptions weren't even that bad. 2 tipped pickes, 1 hail mary pick, 1 reciver missed route, 1 good defensive pick. Then turned around and had a 158.3 qbr.
Nick Wright completely ignoring the Bengals with his “division rivals are big games” take bc Lamar being 8-1 against them doesn’t fit his narrative. Also, most of Lamar’s games against the Steelers & Chiefs weren’t “big games.” Just a completely nonsensical take.
It was a big game but I hate how the media never questions Harbaugh's job security when he consistently & obviously gets out coached. Living off the hype of 1 ring over 10 yrs ago. When was the last time, you can remember, Harbaugh out smartin' & out coaching the other team? The man has been carried by elite talent that masks his ineptitude
@@kevonsidek9737ok so does next weeks game against the chargers competing for a wild card spot count as a big game? Or does it only count as a big game if Lamar loses?

Nick Wright couldn’t wait to blame Lamar for a game where Tucker missed 2 field goals, Henry & Likely fumbled deep in their own territory, Hill getting a pass taken from him, and the o-line having 12 penalties. It’s amazing how he got in his feelings when Wildes told him he has his knives sharpened for Lamar. This segment literally proves it.
The evidence shows that lamar jackson chokes. Im rooting for him and i wish him success but smart betters dont bet lamar props in the big games. If you are such a big lamar believer, you put your money on him
The Ravens have not won a single game this year when Lamar Jackson’s passer rating is below 114.7 They remain a team that has no idea how to win unless he’s excellent every single week. That should be the discussion, not that he’s a choker.
Give the context please. Passer rating is an inflated stat. Majority of the time when the Ravens pass more than they throw they lose. They are 2-4 when Lamar throws the ball more.
@@ucheebo8520Lamar was average yesterday but he definitely wasn’t awful! Going 9/30 is awful! Throwing 5INTS in 1 game is playing awful! Lamar definitely isn’t the reason why the Ravens lost.

TBF, this was a pretty important regular season game. Its a game against the team above the Ravens in the division, which means the best they can do is split the series. There are lots of games left to play and the AFC North is far from settled but this game was an important one.
The 5 interceptions from Goff is overblown. One was batted by an offensive lineman and picked. One was knocked out of his hand from behind, batted by a lineman, batted by a linebacker and picked and one was an end of half hail Mary. Those weren't bad throws, just unfortunate results.
Greg Jennings only show up when the Ravens lose and Lamar plays average 😂. Nick knows he need a Yes man when he trying to twist the loss on Lamar. Fortunately it seemed like even Greg was confused.
No if Lamar played average they would have won. We saw vintage playoff Lamar yesterday. Ravens are 2-4 when they pass more than they run. Tells you all you need to know.
@@oblivionpro69How was he bad when the team had 2 TO and even the INT was on the receiver. Not to only to mention the pass drop and every big play they had it was coming back.
"4-0 when Lamar has 20+ plus carries." I've seen similar stats cited for great backs for over 30 years. For decades this was the argument for running the ball more. Yet as time went by, successful teams passed the ball more. What is overlooked is, that when you are winning comfortably, you tend to run the ball. When you are behind by a lot, however, you tend to pass the ball. What this means is that, it's not that teams win more often because they run the ball a lot. It's that teams run the ball a lot when they are leading comfortably. Of course, when teams are leading comfortable, they tend to win a very large percentage of the time.
Wtf are you talking about losing to a division rival????? Yall clearly don’t watch the games so when they beat Pitt in 2 weeks make sure u keep that energy
@ I support the ravens. But 12 penalties is undisciplined. Disciplined teams don’t have penalties. Discipline teams don’t lose to bad teams. Raiders and Colts come on be objective. The ravens should be 9 -2 not 7-4 but they’re undisciplined and in an offensive identity crisis.
I have not seen a single analyst get it right about Goff's bad game and that is criminal, he had a left tackle in the game that had never played left tackle, was a lack of trust.
These cats know NOTHING about the Lions. They obviously only watch them when they are on primetime, and even then, I dont think they are paying much attention. You can tell from the lack of depth in their conversations.
It’s crazy how Goff can throw 5 picks his team still wins Mahomes and Josh can play mediocre their team still wins Lamar can’t do that anytime he doesn’t play perfect it’s a automatic L
If Lamar passes more than they throw the ball they lose. That’s on him. The excuses this guy gets for being bad in games that are important is unreal. Lamar is coddled. He had the best defense in the league last year and couldn’t score more than a touchdown.
@@bills689-7 Lol you could say he’s mediocre in the playoffs but saying he only beats bad teams is just not true he just beat the Commanders Bills 35-10 Broncos 41-10. Last year he beat the lions 38-6 and the best nfc team 49ers 33-19 and the Texans in the playoffs

How many more years is he gonna skate by from 1 superbowl almost 15 years ago?
Idk I don’t blame him for his defense giving up 15.7 ppg in their 6 playoff games with Lamar. Can blame Harbaugh all you want but Lamar has only played good in 1 of those 6 games.
Do the ravens not have any accountability, how are the players allowed to accrue 100s of yards of penalties every game. My gosh they get 5 ineligible man down field penalties a game.

With the record, Tomlin is showing once again he's the better overall HC over Harbaugh. If Lamar had any other LEGIT top 5 coach like Reid, Shanahan or Tomlin he definitely would have a ring by now
The battle between “Lamar should win MVP every year” and “Lamar gets figured out by good coaches with good defenses” has become the best topic in all of sports. It often feels like we are not allowed to criticize Lamar. So we want to even more. And the week after you criticize him, he goes put up Madden numbers. It’s soooo much more interesting than Mahomes and the Chiefs.
It's because nobody actually gets to the root of the problem when they're talking about the Ravens. Lamar doesn't get figured out, harhaugh gets out coached
That Goff take is really odd. The guy really doesn’t throw many interceptions anymore. And every QB needs to be protected. Yes, even Mahomes. That’s a really odd reason to knock a QB.
Patrick has been PLAYING like a civilian… but that’s ok for Nick. Goff has been balling this year. And the TEAM is better. NO OTHER TEAM could win a game with their QB throwing 5 INTs
I’ll say I see Nicks point that out of all the top 10 QBs Goff is probably the most likely to have a super bad game and because he’s really not mobile it’s hard to make up for it outside of throwing the ball but the Lions as a whole are so good i think they’ve earned the benefit of the doubt considering how close they got last year.
This is literally Lamar’s only bad game this season. There’s no other QB of his caliber that every time they have a bad game, it’s a referendum on who they are as a player. Mahomes was terrible against the Bengals who have the worst defense in the league, and the 49ers, who have a middling defense, and has been average all season outside of a few games. Allen was bad against the Ravens, Texans, and Colts. Lamar has one bad game and all of a sudden he’s being called a choke artist. The Steelers have a great defense. Every QB has a team that just has their number, and the Steelers are that team for Lamar.
Lamar is called a choke artist cuz he's one of the greatest regular season QBs of all time but consistently underperforms in the playoffs. Yall baby that man waaaay too much. It's hella weird.

Prior to the 5 picks Jared Goff was completing 80 some odd percent of his passes for a month and a half. Has a terrible night yet still leads the winning drive. And now he followed up the stinker with 400 yards 4 TDs and a perfect rating. Dude is a wee bit better than a "civilian". Wonder if he'll ever actually get props for beimg great or if it'll always be well they are stacked around him. Jared Goff is a top 5 QB in the league for going on 3 years now, he's legit
The insanity to suggest Goff is a civilian at QB when he’s a far better athlete compared to most civilians .he’s not a great athlete compared to nfl players but few are . Two the amount of Quaterbacks that have the intelligence to run the lions offense at the level he dose is very short . We’re talking 3,4 and those are the elite of the elite. Ben Johnson’s offense is more complex than most and has to be run for perfection to a tee .
Nick salty cuz Bears didn't work out. Makes excuses for Mahomes weekly, still somehow puts him atop quarterback mountain when he's been middle of the road or worse in every statistical category this year. If he gets a pass for still finding ways to win then so does Goff and Allen and Lamar. Goff threw 5 interceptions in one game and STILL has less than Mahomes this season. So stop Nick.
Nick is a clown 😂😂😂… the Ravens loss was literally on everyone but Lamar… penalties, fumbles and missed passes and field goals… the Ravens coaches need to get it together
Hey Nick, who would have guessed quarterbacks do better when protected? Goff is still slinging it at a rate unseen. He’s thrown more TDs than incompletions in 3 games this season, went a perfect 18 for 18 a few weeks back, and had statistically some of the best 6 consecutive weeks of QB play of all time. Not to mention Goff is 2-0 vs Mahomes
Funny how Nick says this about Lamar but I don't hear this about Mahomes. I haven't heard him speak about the Chiefs game yet. I hope he kept this same energy.
That was a stupid take from Wright, are you kidding me, Chiefs look horrible almost every week, Goff has one bad game and wins and he is not on board. Nick don't call yourself a sports analyst if you are that slow. Detroit has a COMPLETE team, no one else has that much depth and you don't know yet. I was a fan, but you are talking crazy or paid to talk nonsense.
Where were you when he said Jokic wasn't the best basketball player in the world while averaging a 30 point triple double. He's always been Nick Wrong, blind and stupid.
@larry2281 his own team didn't want to pay him! The league didn't even want to make the dude a QB. He is definitely not coddled. Aaron Rogers is coddled. Nobody dares to say he is straight garbage the last 3 years! Lamar is still on pace to have a record breaking season.
If the Ravens were the Chiefs, Nick would say I'm not worried about the best off in the league having 1 bad game. I'm actually encouraged because the def looks to be much improved. Also, that was Pittsburgh's superbowl. With the def getting sorted out, the off will bounce back, and they are very dangerous going forward. I agree, Nick-that-doesn't-hate-on-the-Ravens. I'm def not gonna panic about a 2 point loss despite 3 turnovers and 2 missed fg. The def improving is what's more important. Of course, the "real" Nick argues an ugly 2 point win for Pittsburgh spells doom for Baltimore, but a 9 point win in which the Bills looked thoroughly better than the Chiefs is no big deal. Lol
Nick trying to criticize others is crazy...he goes more than 5 minutes without blaming Mahomes, Burrows, Genos, and others in multiple games this season.
Tom Brady said qb play is terrible and the league said that the average pass yards and tds have dropped tremendously and nick said “ this is some of the best qb play” while even mahomes got more ints than td 😂😂
@JayTee57_: the QBs we consider the best were here putting up crazy numbers too just a few years ago. Most teams are playing “2 high safety” right now which has forced a lot of teams to run the ball & get them out of it. That’s a big part of why yards are down, it’s not because QB play is awful. It’s not like all the QBs were great when Brady was in his prime either, he doesn’t really like how the game has changed though (even though he benefited from it) & essentially he wants QBs to be more safe throwing WRs balls as there are balls that QBs throw more often nowadays that would have been considered hospital balls in the mid 2000’s.
your problem is you've confused pundits on a talk show with your OC (he's the guy who's supposed to be running your offense, might be time to figure that out)
Agree 1000000% with Nick’s Lamar take! By avoiding talking about Lamar’s shortcomings you’re not holding him up to the same standard as every other quarterback is held up to. If you have to move the goalposts for someone to score then how genuinely good are they. And the bigger issue everyone will be scared to say is everyone is soft grading Lamar because he’s a black qb in the historically white position, and they want us to position him amongst them even in instances he doesn’t deserve it. Equality means across the board, not special treatment.
I’m sorry but why does he keep talking about his playoff performances we are in regular season. There are QBs that are subpar in postseason games and their record is not brought up every five seconds like Nick does Lamar, it’s ridiculous. Talk about playoffs during the playoffs and treat every game during the regular season as a regular season game. I also don’t agree with you saying he gets special treatment because he’s black because it’s in factual the media and NFL have been dismissive of Lamar and his accomplishments since he step into the league calling him a RB and WR when he was a QB all his life.
Nick, the reason the majority of football fans root for & protect Lamar is bc they can relate to being told they aren’t good enough & doubted in their life. People will root for a player that’s been told he will fail to show how bad the “system” wrong. Lamar is a great player & person who has defied ALOT of naysayers. Jackson gets great love but also gets a different level of criticism compared to other top QBs. You won’t understand the love he gets if you don’t know what that feels like
6:02 It's because he's black... Bru feels obligated to defend him for the same reason... Even though it's clear as day Lamar doesn't play well in games that matter more than others. All good tho; race relations are a complicated issue.
He cant simply root for the team he picked to win the superbowl. Nick defends Mahomes like hes his favorite son. Is that because black? No it’s because he roots for the chiefs.
Goff had a "bad week" when two tipped passed went to defenders, and two WRs ran incorrect routes in a timing and route based passing game. And he still played his best in the 4th quarter when it mattered to win the game. Also, how can Nick claim he can't beat "great QBs" when he regularly beats QBs Nick ranks higher than him???

@Chigz10 if you think Goff is the same QB he was in LA you're completely clueless

Brou a fool 😂😂
Greg is speaking TRUTH!!!!! Nick’s take is so bad he should be ashamed. Goff’s numbers are historic! What is Nick even talking about lol
Nick cherry picks stats that fits his narrative and ignores everything else
Lions are #2 Offense, #2 Defense, #1 Special Teams on DVOA. Currently 3rd best all time. They're winning the Super Bowl.
Not in week 12.....😂
Lmao
DVOA is a weird stat, they clearly have the best offense in the NFL. But that defense is average at best
"Hold on a minute playa"
just your opinion ... ( their not even going to reach the nfc championship game ... my opinion ... )
@@HopefulNihilistbut we are in the regular season! And this season he’s playing way better than Mahomes is and Nick Wrong can’t handle it!
LJ didn’t really have a bad game tho. He played good enough to win. Off couldn’t stay on field with penalties and turnovers. Look at the TOP.
@@HopefulNihilist So weird. He chokes bad. Looks all world against everyone except the Rivals and except in the playoffs. It's obvious but I guess I'm just stupid.
He also had a bad game against the raiders and is mediocre at best.. he’s a good average regular season qb.. Goff is mvp Lamar can’t even make it to a Super Bowl 🤡
I left my browns for the Lions f*cking weeks ago and I've been quite happy with my decision.
Welcome to the pride!
Yeah hoping on the bandwagon of the best team in the league will do that
@@NobleVagabond2552🤡
Zadarius also looks pretty happy making that switch. Dudes smiling ear to ear every time I've seen him
Fake fan
Lamar didnt fumble twice and miss 2 fgs
3 fumbles really. Cause that wasn’t a real INT. Hill was stripped.
He also didnt complete over 50% of his passes. Great QBs are supposed to elevate the team, not get elevated by them
@@fyukfy2366 did you not see them dropped and penalty’s??😂😂
12:22 Nicks Delusional 😅
Panic time at 7-4 but the bengals we had to believe in at 3-6 bahahahah
He's a bozo lol
Nick called Goff a civilian?? What a bad thing to say!! He is dead wrong!!!!!!!!!
I lost respect for Nick. 😢
Nick acts the same way Brou did about Lamar if anyone critiques Patrick. That is what is so funny about this one.
Okay brou said if he doesn’t handle in the playoffs he’s gonna start killing him on that. That’s good. It only too k a year 10:07
Lamar is one of the most scrutinized quarterbacks in the league. Who are these people that are protecting him??
He’s the most coddled QB in the league. Can’t even criticize the guy being race being brought up or being called a hater.
Lol
The lions have the best offense in the league
“Give Henry more carries” is the laziest take ever. Point to plays during the game where the ravens threw the ball and should have ran the ball.
I mean this isn’t the first time they should have ran the ball more tho, it was a thing last playoffs. They get too pass happy sometimes
your problem is you've confused pundits on a talk show with your OC (he's the guy who's supposed to be running your offense, might be time to figure that out)
Every 1st and 10 in the 4th quarter for starters.
I like nick’s unique takes but he’s dead wrong about Lamar
100%. It's weird honestly
You won’t understand the love he gets if you don’t know what that feels like
Nick wrong sounds like he is about to cry 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Nick's a haterrrrr waaahh waaaah" nah, he's the only one telling the truth about Lamar.
Two things can be true. He is a hater but he's also right a lot
he very obviously is, he will never give Lamar credit for literally anything without insulting him and acting like a child
@@noahkramer942Because Lamar is a choker in big games
@@jakieresykes3644I mean it’s really just two games; Chiefs and Steelers. No one has been more successful vs .500+ teams and on Primetime than Lamar
@ But see here’s the thing those two teams you just mentioned he’s gonna have to face 1 or both of those teams in the playoffs
Just checking in, takes aged like milk. Lmfao
@TruthLC "Just checking in"... Big game choke for the "win" lmao
@@Unusualsuspect24 waited to come back after a game in which he literally led a game tying drive lmfao, good one man. Absolute galaxy brain analysis
@TruthLC HE LOST. Idgaf what he "did" outside of that. Ffs. Dude has Russel Westbrook vibes all day; NO CHIP!
Brou was having none of Nick's Lamar take today. And I don't blame him.
