Hence why our scoring rather than out defending has been the M.O. for teams now because that’s easier to accomplish. A bad shot can still go in, you could have excellent defense and still get scored on.

AD is a physically insanly talented. Jokic and Sabonis are smart and skilled players who know how to use physicality. They don’t teach stuff like that in America where the most gifted can do whatever they want. So AD can’t deal with them.

If you notice, Sabonis and Jokic are the only two centers in the NBA that are the main distributors of the ball. BOTH CENTERS OPERATE AT THE TOP OF THE KEY AND BOTH CENTERS AVERAGE A TRIPLE DOUBLE AGAINST THE LAKERS...AD CAN'T GUARD EITHER CENTER, THEY'RE TOO VERSATILE FOR AD.🤔
AD is a power forward a 4 I don't know why coach still got him playing the 5 when he's a better help defender than on ball defender of centers. They need a Cappella type at center and slide AD to the 4

The Lakers are 10-5 over the last 15 games & have winning records against OKC, Clippers, Suns, New Orleans, Cleveland, Indiana. They have the 7th best record over that 15-game span, shooting 51/40/79 splits, and have the 3rd highest PPG. Why are people acting like they’re falling apart or just TRASH as a team? You can tell Nick didn't watch the game. AD got in foul trouble early due to the guards penetrating the paint, and was in foul trouble for most of the game. The real problem is the PoA defense and whether we can get anyone to slow these guards down even a little bit before they get to AD. If not, then he basically has to guard his guy & the guard at the same time.
Feels like vando or Vincent would help with the PoA defense, but neither played a single game against the Nuggets or the Kings

What I seen was ham choose not to make any changes in the game , while the kings were swapping out players all through the game, ham kept the same squad throughout the whole game , even when you Cleary seen it was not working out.
