Hi Demas, Great video you've put up. can you explain me how you transfer raw images to light room? Im using the Samsung galaxy S7 plus. so far I have only be able to edit Jpg files because my tablet doesn't seem to accept raw files.
This is what I do, but I'm sure there are other methods too - I dump all of my RAW files into my PC workstation and import them to LRCC, and then I create a mobile collection to sync across all of my devices with LRM. That way, I have a central location of all of my raw photos (with cloud backup of course), but access to the previews and edits for on the go. As long as you have the most up to date version of the apps across all of your devices, edits will sync seamlessly. Hope this helps! I've been working to incorporate mobile editing in my workflow and was eyeing the Galaxy Tablets
The tablet does make it easy, though it's okay if you're using the images for online use. But I have not yet seen any phone or tablet that can be colour calibrated. When printing photos edited on either mobile device, the images never look the same or even close when printed.
Yep that is true, but I guess the good thing about the Lightroom app is that it connects to the cloud so you can see the edits on a computer screen as well that is colour calibrated 😀
@@seashellwanderers456 It's both. 100% of all modern displays have a certain amount of processing that takes place. It's this processing that can affect the color gamut significantly. Nice to know you were out here in the Chi. I'm still going back and forth whether I want a laptop that I'll just use for emails, maybe RUclips and mainly Photo editing, or if something like this is good enough. Mix is a much simpler interface with only specific tools, I think Android doesn't have proper Photoshop yet too :(
@@demasrusli Thank you
hello, thank you for this interesting video, I have a question, which do you think is better and which do you recommend more, quickshare or nearby share?
You're welcome! Quickshare is good for Samsung to Samsung sharing while Nearby Share is good for all different types of Android phones :)
Nice video. How did you get the photos from your camera to your tablet?
You can get a USB-C SD card reader and plug it in straight away :)
@@demasrusli Thanks.
@@demasrusli I was wondering if a chromebook tablet would be a better option
