"I'm back, you fuckers!"
“I’m back, you fuckers!”
Aria: "I'm back fuckers! Tell your boss I'm coming."
Aria just became 10x more badass with that line.
There was hardly ever a calm moment during this DLC since this song played 90% of the time, gave a strong feel of tension that forced you to keep pushing
I never had tension with it, it was very sci-fi trippy though.
love the (piano?) tones that seem to be present in every track from this dlc.
The feeling of this music was different than the rest of the game. Almost so alien and crazy its fantasy, but from the future.
This just makes the fight through Omega epic!
Since I hope to take part in game creation some day, I've come to realize many of the tricks games use to create atmosphere. While I knew that, of course, battles weren't actually happening all across omega in my game, only where I could see them, the game did an excellent job of conveying that feeling, and damned if I didn't believe it while playing. This music and the FX throughout the DLC really sold that this was a battle of epic proportions.
I miss nyreen.....she was a fucking beast
Her death is so fucking unnecessary
High quality DLC is high quality.
Except ragdolling Aria speeches.
@@ladyselin35 Mods fix that.
And yes, I replied to your response to a 6 year old comment within 5 minutes.

its abit like a rollercoaster, youknow where the ride is going and it does it quite well :)
Including my Shephard I literally had a team of lesbians during this mission.
Same here man.My sexy FemShep with Aria(wich is one of he most badass female chars in gaming) and Nyreen,i was like "Damn now thats a bad ass lesbian killing squad"
BDevilScholar you do realise that asari are genderless, you perceive them as female but they don't actually refer to themselves as women, liara even mentioned this in mass effect 1 :)
Space Powerpuff Girls!
Shepard as Blossom, since Femshep's the leader. Nyreen as Bubbles, because she's the nice one. Aria as Buttercup, because she's the hardcore bitch. And I suppose General Petrovsky is Mojo Jojo.
Which was damn awesome
Isn't Aria bi?
Ah, the re appearing M8 Avenger Assault Rifle of Bitch Slap
Great dlc, wish more was coming to the game but I'd rather have bioware focus on the next ME
Although this DLC's story was blander than bread, and the gameplay sections were tediously long-winded, the soundtrack on this never fails to deliver, and as a new character, Petrovsky was definitely more interesting and impressive then the other new characters in ME3 (Coats, Cortez, Samantha, James etc.) Definitely not the shining light of DLC, Omega was bad, but at least the OST delivered.
Petrovsky was much better in the comics...
Omega was Fuckin great bro, no idea what your talking abouy
Yeah, if you can ignore the overly long shooting galleries used to fill in the missing content, the annoying animation glitches, and overall shitty gameplay segments, yeah, it was fantastic...unfortunately, what I just listed is the majority of the DLC. Omega was a snooze fest.
I agree on every point.
I kinda liked James, Cortez, and Samantha.
...Although I agree that something about Omega felt...off. It certainly wasn't as good as Leviathan or Citadel, and definitely wasn't worth 1200 BioWare points.
If this DLC had been almost 2 hours shorter, it would have been so much better. The idea of working with Aria and Mercs to take Omega back from Cerberus was certainly promising. However, there are a few problems:
1. The DLC is padded out as shit. It becomes incredibly draining past a certain point.
2. The fact that Aria never once encounters Wrex when we had 2 brief bits in the first 2 games that foreshadowed a reunion between them is a wasted opportunity.
3. Given Aria’s attachment to Omega, there isn’t a strong enough reason for her to still stay on the Citadel. When we compare it to Lair of the Shadow Broker, Liara didn’t just stay on Illium after the DLC was completed. They could have given us a smaller hub to interact with but didn’t think that through. This is a fine example of BW cutting as many corners as possible with ME3.
4. Where are Patriarch, Gavorn, and Aria’s 2 main bouncers (Anton and Grizz)? Hell, where is most of Omega?
The DLC could have been so much better but BW clearly didn’t have any clue how to handle it. By this point in the trilogy, BW was completely sapped of all creativity and kept churning shit out for damage control purposes.
Agreed. But the OST is killer!
Oh yeah, the OST was probably the most consistently good thing about ME3. I pretty much had no issues with it.
The only reason this DLC worked was because of Aria. With out her it would have fallen apart. Even then I was kinda of disappointed. Both Leviathan and Omega were kinda of lackluster. However thankfully Citadel saved it. I think its that the Omega and Leviathan felt rushed. The pacing was off, trying to set atmosphere but never leaving enough time to sink in.
