I like to hear this song when I'm hours away from a deadline and still have several pages to write. Gives me a aura of EPICNESS while working towards what might cost me the semester!
Good luck mate, never give up! I wrote and finished the dissertation of my MSc in 1.5 months starting from point zero. Enjoyed it double when I got a distinction. You can do everything when you put your mind in it.
First time i played this mission my spine was tingling, jaw have opened, and i actually applauded the game after this mission and ending. Absolutely fantastic
God, first time going through the Collector Base, I dreaded the Suicide Mission because of how much a pain in the ass the Collectors were. This track however immediately changed my opinion. A team of the Galaxies greatest and most terrifying badasses coming together to send the Collectors to hell. This track captures that feel perfectly.
I often listen to my music playlist on YT with the laptop lid down and do homework. This is the ONLY song on the list that makes me open up the lid and put the volume up to full.
When I first listened to this without playing the game, I didn't like it. Now, after finishing ME2 for the first time, I can't stop listening to it. I guess that you can't appreciate something if you never give it a chance.
ME2 was the best in the franchise i enjoyed it every time i played it again and again and those unforgetable moments are just epic every single time ... and after every suicide mission i had no words to say for like 20 minutes . AMAZING GAME !!
I remember booting this up for the first time and sat in the menu listening to this for 5 mins thinking how awesome this game was gonna be, needless to say I was right as f***
" My name is Legion, for we are many. " " EDI, transmit landing zone coordinates - we will rendezvous. " " Unfortunately, Legion did not make it - it delayed the enemy so the rest could escape. " " Shepard, I appreciate these chats we have. " " You've spent a lot of your life alone, Thane "
" *Chuckles* Work fulfilled me. Reading. I barely spoke to anyone outside my family. " " It seems there will be no one to mourn me when I die. You're the only friend I've made in ten years. " " You are alive because I wounded your pride ? " " Pride is the line between a professional, and a thug " " Your mission gave me purpose. A cause to die for. A chance to atone." " I was able to speak to my son again. I can leave my body in peace. " *Turning Thane over immediately after the Reaper-larva battle to reveal that he has passed on.* *Realizing that I was the only friend he had in the last few months of his life, and the only person whom the geth knew who didn't hate them ( and now that knowledge was lost forever )* *Placing my cold hand on both of their coffins & having no idea about the possible ramifications; who could've predicted that the 'death' of this one geth unit could possibly lead to the extinction of the entire quarian race or his entire race in just 6 months.* Memories...
Mass Effect is the best film I have ever seen, and also it is a videogame. I feel sorry for the old people who will never understand what being inside such a big adventure is.
+Gui Caldo Movies won't be enough. What we need are spin-off games. Not with Shepard but maybe with other interesting characters. Like Jack during her criminal days, Garrus as Archangel or Thane on a quest to avenge his wife. Would be freaking epic.
+Gui Caldo I dunno. Movies based on videogames don't really have the best track record. Besides, what I think made videogames great is being interactive. It just wouldn't be the same.
+Gui Caldo So long as Bioware's in charge, a movie might turn out good. Sort of what they're doing to the Assassin's Creed movie. Separate to Shepard's story but set in the same universe.
Oh how I loved these games! And the music, oh the music! I remember when this started and I felt like I was right in there, and my mission? To save the goddamn galaxy! Absolutely love it. The soundtracks made me feel like one of them, like I was in there and not in this shitty world x) Please, when we get to Mars, find those Prothean artifacts :D
Pretty sure EA would just fuck it up like they do with most stuff lately. A Mass Effect where you have to buy every mission with DLCs and Microtransactions? No thanks.
We don't know how many the Collectors have stolen. Thousands, hundreds of thousands. It's not important. What matters is this: Not. One. More. That's what we can do here, today. It ends with us. They want to know what we're made of? I say we show them, on our terms. Let's bring our people home. I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite song on the internet.
By far my favourite musical piece in any of the three games. Suicide mission is gold. In my opinion the only music to rival this is "The Dread Wolf" theme from DA:I's Trespasser DLC.
Shepard gets swarmed by collectors, Normandy in sight. Joker: we have to leave now, this place is cooked in a few minutes!! Garrrus: We have to get Shepard, he's one of the best people I've ever met, ill be damned if I leave him behind! Rest of Squad: Garrus is right, we can't leave our commander behind, we all make it out or No one does!!!! Charge!!!
I'd want to see what happens with other choices. First playthrough is how i want to react, second playthrough is FUCK EVERYTHING. Pretty much in every game with choices.
it's a bit of a bug that one... to be sure Mordin survives even if you did his loyalty mission, send him to escort the survivors... if you don't, then there's the chance for him to die, because he has the lowest chances of survival from all your team members :) so, send him to escort and you'll be fine... happened to me also :)
Ah the suicide mission. The most beautifully/amazingly orchestrated but almost completely pointless mission of the Mass Effect series. Mass Effect 2 = Side Mission the Game. It also felt like being forced into a renegade option in a way and the way Harbinger was portrayed sort of dumbed the Reapers down a bit and made them typical arrogant(something only organics should really be displaying) enemies. It's a shame the push for the conduit in Mass Effect 3 wasn't set up like this but on a larger scale and using groups of recruited allies instead of single characters.
***** Same here. I really like the ending premise when it comes to the Reapers origins and motivations, but Priority Earth was a VERY anti climactic final mission. I feel it very much seemed that we were headed for an epic battle with the allies we had recruited. Instead we got a very short cutscene and then a regular mission. It was the same as the rest of the series, Shepard fighting the same types of enemies he/she always has with 2 squad mates.
Actually, Harbinger and the whole ME2 made Reapers less mechanic and more lively. And that was the point: the Reapers were not just machines; they were organic-synthetic hybrids..the way the "pinnacle of evolution" of both organics and sythetics should and would be. It brought depth to Sovereign's words and made them even more scarier. Also, Sovereign was also very arrogant.
Kenneth Donnelly More arrogant, yes. More scary, I thought it made them less scary. In ME1 we found out the Reapers harvest ALL advanced life in the galaxy every 50K years and have been doing so for who knows how long. They claimed to be "above" ALL of us. Then in ME2 it went down this weird road where this one Reaper seems to be "personally" attacking humanity for a seemingly unknown reason. I felt like it cut back on the scale of the Reapers. Like suddenly these super advanced life forms that have been dictating the way life in the galaxy advances for millions of years without a problem are suddenly threatened by humans? By the youngest species to the galactic community? It seemed weird to me. It felt sort of out of place after what was established in ME1. I just didn't like how it tried to make humanity seem "important" for some contrived reason. Why do we always do that in stories? Make things revolve around us? Even if it can make a good story, it gets old seeing it time and time again. The more we learn about the universe, the less significant we find out we are. To each his own I guess. I liked where they went with it by the end of ME3 because the scale was big again. It questioned how ALL life in the galaxy advances and evolves.
edgecrusherhalo That's rubbish. I don't care about your "feelings". Mordin gave a clue during his loyalth mission : humans had the most diverse DNA scale of this cycle. That's it, no more reason to why Reapers paid special attention to humans and not, for example, Turians. You made up the rest. They are not threatened by humans, they are harvesting humans just like they harvest one species during each cycle.
Im pretty sure it was a guy who made mass effect, if im not right, then im not sure, not trying to be rude but...ive seen ALOT of interviews and stuff with this guy that ''made mass effect''
Conslappy Agreed. lol I will forsake any ME2 companion to save my buds from ME1 lol I replayed the entirety of ME2 just to save my companions as i lost 6 companions first time round.. can't seem to save legion though...he always dies so I can never get the Quarian-Geth Alliance.
.... wish i could have saved those colonists that were abducted off of horizon...now that would be the best ending unlike me2...where some1 always dies!destroy ending kills off ai all geth and the sorts..sythetic ending still bad.. all ending r bad....in 1 way or another.. i wanted that ending where just the reapers and only the reapers..blow up by my gun...
That feeling you get when you get everyone out alive.
Just finished playing yet another successful playthrough of ME2.
Still as awesome as the first time I played it through.
***** 24 playthroughs boy lol
Tahkaullus01 Bro its 2015 now you have to play it again ;)
JackBauerwashere just finished it for the first time. Masse effect 3 is loading on my ps3 right now, can't wait. But that ending though, greatly done
philvinc4 Have fun. Kill Ashley for me (biggest mistake of my Shepard's life was saving her...but I couldn't let Kirrahe die).
csgptg That's a bit much don't you think? I stopped at 20 :)
Best videogame soundtrack ever composed
Bioware was still the real Bioware at the time, but with EA's resources. If only such an excellent combination could have lasted.
Probably my top computer game track of all time.
Mentioning it as a computer game is a ballsy move, be careful you might just ignite a platform war.
I'll go with you on the PC here too! All the way! :D And this is my favorite score in the Universe
For me, it is THE most EPIC soundtrack in history.
Rikke Togeskov i want comfortable controls
Mass Effect 3 has a better soundtrack imo
I like to hear this song when I'm hours away from a deadline and still have several pages to write. Gives me a aura of EPICNESS while working towards what might cost me the semester!
Good luck mate, never give up! I wrote and finished the dissertation of my MSc in 1.5 months starting from point zero. Enjoyed it double when I got a distinction. You can do everything when you put your mind in it.
veldringr You can do anything if you put your mind in it, AND listen to this track while doing it.
I like to play this when taking a dump, it makes it the ultimate poo.
It's like a suicidie mission of your own :D
Staring down the barrel of an extended tax season, and they. just. keep. coming.
First time i played this mission my spine was tingling, jaw have opened, and i actually applauded the game after this mission and ending. Absolutely fantastic
f***ing right as
If you're listening to this after having beaten ME2 for the first time, I envy you so much.
It was such a great experience
once a while where ever you are, you will stop by here. I know.
Hey harbinger.... you’re next
Greatest and most terrifying badasses + Jacob
I still get goosebumps. Such an amazing trilogy and the music is nothing but brilliant.
Captain. This mission. It's suicide.. ..
That's why we were chosen for it.. Battle stations!
The single most epic song in history.
I often listen to my music playlist on YT with the laptop lid down and do homework. This is the ONLY song on the list that makes me open up the lid and put the volume up to full.
hello from 2020, we still love this trilogy!!
2021 agrees with you!
@@Pendleton115 Keelah se'lai !!
When I first listened to this without playing the game, I didn't like it. Now, after finishing ME2 for the first time, I can't stop listening to it. I guess that you can't appreciate something if you never give it a chance.
Most epic mission in the Mass Effect series. When Shepard gave that epic speech and with this music gunning down enemies....Epicness at it's apex.
I play this song whenever I do a successful False Emperor solo run with my trooper. Makes it very epic.
I like you
Thats awsome
i hope you are taking Elara Dorne with you.
id always do
jarick caesar Never leave without her. ; )
my fav of all time..this mission was epic my best moment in Mass Effect Trilogy
ME2 was the best in the franchise i enjoyed it every time i played it again and again and those unforgetable moments are just epic every single time ... and after every suicide mission i had no words to say for like 20 minutes . AMAZING GAME !!
Words cannot describe how much it helps to have this track playing while working out.....
Great screenshots on this playlist!
Tali'zorah just made me proud of her, doing the first assignment and I kept her alive☺
Shepard: It's time to show them our new teeth!
Joker: Come on girl, hit them!!
That was SO EPIC
man ican listen to this over and over again soooooo goooooooood!!!
Chills every time, that was hell of a ride, the best one. Glad my whole squad team has survived :P
Kasumi and jack died ... still sad about that. Never thought a death in a video game could make me feel soo horrible .
Masterpiece!
2 year anniversary for this video.
Is it just me but when I was playing the last mission I felt epic doing it listening to this song 😏
I remember booting this up for the first time and sat in the menu listening to this for 5 mins thinking how awesome this game was gonna be, needless to say I was right as f***
i love mass effect i need to play it again now ! and this time as a badass 💖
Just did 2/3 games on insanity difficulty. I am going to get slaughtered in Mass Effect 3 a bunch of times but I can do it!
One hell of a ride is right. Sets the stage for one of the most epic gaming conflicts of all time.Shepard and company vs The Reapers.
The soundtrack is so damn good.
Paragon, did all the loyalties, helped everyone i could...Suicide Mission time...Killed the Reaper...No One Left Behind.

You know what? We need a goddam Mass Effect movie trilogy! Like, right NOW!

Yes, indeed. Thanks for saying it in other words.
amazing game, songs, and history ...
Na ez az a zene ami örök kedvenc marad! Temetésemre ezt a zenét szeretném mert az egész Élet egy Öngyilkos küldetés :D
Attila G-C Vizsga előtti napon hallgatni tökéletes. :)
I choose MEHEM!
2019 here!
seriously the best franchise in the whole entertainment world that ever existed. The guy who thought of it is a motherfuckin' genius!
Man, I fucking love this franchise.
Oh how I loved these games! And the music, oh the music! I remember when this started and I felt like I was right in there, and my mission? To save the goddamn galaxy! Absolutely love it. best soundtrack ever!
A real heros theme for the ages!
Beat all mass effect games, overall to me best video game series out there,Shepard has more fans than anyone in video games!
That Collecter General at the end: Hey, what's going onnnn? Shiny lights.... We go boom now...?
Mass Effect 4 is in the works, and there's several comics and novels already around and some in the workd too. SO yeah, the franchise is still kicking.
coolll you took my request
"EA can make some of its best franchises remastered". So, i want ME Trilogy remastered, EA. Pls. Pls. Pls.
The first mass effect, with the graphics and gameplay of the 3= Master piece..AGAIN !
Useless, the three games are still really good like they are now.
You’d think they would considering how much they love money 😂
This trilogy needs to be remastered pls ea make ur mass effect fans happy
Pretty sure EA would just fuck it up like they do with most stuff lately. A Mass Effect where you have to buy every mission with DLCs and Microtransactions? No thanks.

I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite song on the internet.
best out of the whole series would have loved to see this one redone with the graphics from the third game :(
Imagine a real fight against harbinger......but the whole fleet combines to take his big ass down
Best Game Ever! After, Dragon Age Inquisition, Life Strange and The Last of Us.
Mass effect will never get old:)
Nagyon frankó!
One can only hope for a remastered ME: trilogy some time in the future.................👍🏽✌🏼🤔
Your dream is realised.
Good boy.
this my favorite theme
Badass!!!!
трилогия всех времен,лучше нет и врядли будет,только 4 часть
Tali for the venting ducts. Garrus for distracting the collectors. Mordin and Grunt to send that SOB human reaper to the depths of hell.....
By far my favourite musical piece in any of the three games. Suicide mission is gold. In my opinion the only music to rival this is "The Dread Wolf" theme from DA:I's Trespasser DLC.
+Jumeaux Elaine While Dragon Age OST is great, it doesn't have the distinct and unique style of Mass Effect OST
+Kenneth Donnelly I argue with you there Kenneth :P
one word: legen - WAIT FOR IT! - dary
BIOWARE I LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUVEEEEEEEEEEE UUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that the ME3 version of the Normandy SR-2 in the screenshot??
"Shepard, you could've been useful".
Charge!!!
They are definitely missing out as video game makers create new forms of art.
This theme does remind me of Doctor Who, The Majestic Tale (Of A Madman In A Box)
Somehow reminds me of the 11th doctor theme '-'
Masterpiece anyway **
Sometimes I feel like the only girl playing the ME trilogy who isn't even thirteen yet... NEVER TOO YOUNG FOR MASS EFFECT!!!!
Cy Crystal I was 12 when i started, you're not alone :D
I started it two years ago. So never too late to start!
I started it three weeks ago haha, I finished the trilogy in three fucking weeks,120 hours of greatness and epicness, damn that was way too good :')
not to be a douche but the lucky 7th comment and I would be surprised to see a 7 hour version of this
I reconised some of this from Jade Empire as some it sounds very familiar. God was Jade Empire a good game.

ULUBIONA GRA....:) :) :)
Its on DeviantArt. Search for the Artist "Euderion".
If i can pilot an attack helicopter to kick Isis ASS ill use this track all the way untill i finish my mission.
no one died YAY i had Grunt and Garrus in the final mission
2020 here
Ah. I used Thane for the escort because of his ability to "adapt to any situation"
He couldn’t adapt to Kai Lengs Swords tho lol
Is it possible to get the picture from this video? I would like to use it as a desktop wallpapers and load screen for my Windows.
Ah the suicide mission. The most beautifully/amazingly orchestrated but almost completely pointless mission of the Mass Effect series. Mass Effect 2 = Side Mission the Game. Dude the emotions it stirs makes you choose the exact same choices you did before, it really is that good. Skip ME3's ending though, ruined it.
Why does it always remind me of 11th doctor
reminds me the theme from games of thrones
First time through, everyone survived ^_^
Second time, REUSING THE SAME FILE AND CHOICES, Mordin died, wtf? X_X
7 years late, BUUUUT
Either not loyal or you didnt send him back with the crew
Why would you play the same way again?
Casey Hudson is with Bioware rofl, it isent a compandy who helped
What ME3 ended was the ME trilogy. The franchise will be milked by EA for years.
I lost jack and........................ legion.......... :'(
my first time
I lost everyone XD
O_O U LOST TALI!!!! FIX IT!!
Matthew Boren did you buy all the normandy upgrades and get everyone's loyalty?
Ultimate Gamer legion= the tube. garrus= both team leader. samara= for shield. mordin= escort. miranda and tali= final squad.
Uhhhh... why does google say "Buy "Grey and Fluffy"?
i personally think mass effect 2 should have been mass effect 3 because the suicide mission is a good way to end the franchise
....
wish i could have saved those colonists that were abducted off of horizon...now that would be the best ending unlike me2...where some1 always dies!destroy ending kills off ai all geth and the sorts..sythetic ending still bad.. all ending r bad....in 1 way or another..
