Nice job. Simple. Effective. Gets the job done. Only thing I might add would be some sort of roller where the dents rub on the handle so it doesn’t rub a groove in the handle stick. Thinking about doing some more modifications to my 1010. I’d really like to maybe build some sort of vacuum boosters for the steering levers. Where it is a gas engine I wouldn’t think it would be all too hard to accomplish.
that would be a good addition. i thought about that, but for the use i'll be giving it, i wasn't too concerned. I can always take the handle off and build it back up with weld.
I am going to do this mod to my 350b as shown. If a 350b owner that uses the dozer a lot, and is worried about wear on the lever shaft, a block of nylon or delrin, cut to the same detent profile, and standing maybe 1/16" proud of the angle could be added to eliminate the wear problem.
That is good thinking. I am impressed with the simplicity and function. Think I may try this on a 350c. It bounces into neutral a few times a day. Think I may check to make sure the linkage is actually centered with the control tower first. I have used nylon in similar detent design before but yours wins on simplicity!
It's the simple things that make all the difference... Personally I wish I would fix things sooner, but it seems they need to irritate me for an extended period until one day I decide to fix it, usually on a whim and once it's done wonder why I didn't fix it sooner!
Hey, I was wondering if you would be able to help me out with where a few lines from the reverser box goes? My father has one, and can't figure out where 2 lines from the control valve housing? A couple pics would prolly do the job if you would be willing?
Your videos are all very informative and greatly appreciated by me, and I'm sure by many people in need of these tutorials. Many thanks. Dennis
Thank you!
Very, very nice! You made that look easy. You demonstrated some great Ingenuity there!
Thanks! I must say i'm extremely happy with how it came out.
Excellent work on the reverser !

excellent engineering. well done. simple too. no Rube Goldberg clutter.
Thank you!

Thanks! good luck with making yours!
That's a good idea I'll have to copy that

I am usually like that too, but luckily i had some free time and was able to do this!
i like it
I think I just figured out I may have a 350B since I have the same reverser and the older 350 has the reverser on the dash!
You have any trouble out of the actual reverser yet?

I believe those lines go to the oil cooler up by the radiator.
@@themadmailler I will pass this along to him!
looking at a JD350 like yours. but the man says it won't move forward or reverse. any ideas??
Reverser may be low on oil. Easy fix, but something caused the oil to become low!
That will doer
What year is that piece of machinery?
not sure, but it's a b-series, so i think that generally dates it.
