    This is a real interesting robot vacuum at a good price. Do you think it is on par with the S6 MaxV as far as software and navigation go?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 года назад +2

      Each has it's advantages. I like the s6 MaxV and it's camera for seeing avoided stuff on the map. And I like the L10 Pro for the price and great avoidance ability. The Dreame tends to bump into things for too long when the Roborock would definitely finds it's way out faster. The Roborock on the other hand always pushes my cat's bowls in the kitchen when the Dreame does not. So I would not say they are on par but for the price the Dreame definitely shines

    @Smart Robot Reviews I am considering buying the Dreame L10 Pro. I have all hard floors and long hair. Ive heard that lots of long hair gets tangled in the main roller brush. Can this robot operate with the main roller brush removed (relying solely on the 4000 pa suction to vacuum the long hair? I figure this could be a good workaround to avoid hair tangles and associated maintenance??@Tech4all I am considering buying the Dreame L10 Pro. I have all hard floors and long hair. Hi, I really like your reviews and have a question about it.
    I have a 70 square meter apartment, mostly uncarpeted and unobstructed, so what vacuum cleaner do you suggest?
    I'm thinking of getting one of these 3:
    1. Dreame Bot D9 Max
    2. Dreame Bot L10 Pro
    3. Dreame Bot Z10 Pro
    Or do you suggest something else in that price range?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  2 года назад

      He there, I'd go with the self-emptying one, the Z10 Pro. But if you need a mopping feature more than a self-emptying base then the L10 Pro as it has a bigger water tank.

  • @nancygranata4788

    Hello Natalie,
    Which one is better performing between the Dreame D10plus and the L10 pro? I would go for the L10 pro because of the bigger water tank (mopping is important to me).
    Many thanks!

    How does it perform against the roborock s7 in terms of cleaning performance ?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 года назад +2

      Almost as good with sand but worse with picking up things on medium pile carpet. Also not as good as a mop and overall experience with mopping is more convenient with the S7

    • @tareef5567
      @tareef5567 3 года назад +1

      To be honest I do not use or need the mop attachment. I only need a robot that can clean the best

    • @xeon2k8
      @xeon2k8 3 года назад +1

      @@tareef5567 if mopping is not your interest then the S7 is too expensive for only vacuuming. Go for the S4 max which is slightly better than the S7.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 года назад +2

      @@tareef5567 As to vacuum performance, the S5 Max is very similar to the S7 and costs less. I still think it is one of the best for the price. Would be on par with the Dreame. But if you do not need mopping, the Dreame is a good choice too as it has object avoidance which the S5 Max lacks. The S7 is a great robot vacuum but if you don't need mopping probably no need to pay more.

    What would you recommend for pet hair? And for avoiding objects for the safety of pets when nobody is home? Dreame l10 pro, 360 s10 or Xiaomi pro 2+? Thanks

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 года назад +1

      I haven't use the Xiaomi Pro 2+. The Dreame L10 Pro and 360 S10 are very similar in terms of cleaning, so it's really hard to say which one is better for pet hair, both are probably in TOP-5 at cleaning performance between all the robots I've tested. Both robots can detect dog or cat poop, but maybe only 50% of the time, so I would still be careful and if your pets tend to leave a surprise on the floor from time to time, better to not run the robot when you are not at home. Robot vacuums that would 100% avoid poop just don't exist yet.

    Great review!! Dreame got the price point /features ratio right!! This is what I expected from 360 with the s10 but $799 is crazy lack of the lidar dome and bigger water 💧 does not equal $799 🙃 was the app buggy? Are any major features missing from the app?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 года назад +1

      I wouldn't say I noticed anything with the app. Not a fan of the Dreames battery icon as you don't know the charging level and that you have to go to settings to change water flaw and suction mode

    do you find the side brush stops spinning at times, or spins slow?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  2 года назад

      Do you mean on carpets? It's normal behavior on medium or high pile carpets. The robot stops the brush when it's barely spinning because of high resistance to protect the motor and the brush from damage. I would not bother too much about it as the main purpose of the side brush is to clean corners and along the walls. When cleaning an inner part of the room, the side brush is almost useless. I don't remember about the Dreame, but Roborock cleaners automatically speed up the brush when cleaning along walls.

      @@SmartRobotReviews I am now watching your other video "Which One Avoids Objects Better? Roborock S6 MaxV vs. 360 S10 vs. Dreame L10 Pro" and it looks like Dreame deals with objects the best. But the video is 10 months old and I wonder if something was improved with 360 S10. If it was as good as L10 Pro, I would not hesitate to go with S10... but now as I care about the obstacle avoidance feature the most, it's really hard to choose...

    What you say about the battery ? I have this model and it’s strange, with turbo mode the battery drain 1% per each 2 minutes. I had roborock S5 max and I never go down the 45/50% in max mode for an apartment of 50sq…

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 года назад +1

      I usually mention the maximum cleaning time on the lowest power setting which is approximately similar to the Roborock. I didn't test how long it can clean on the max power setting, but I think because of the Dreame stronger suction (4000Pa vs 2000Pa according to the specs provided by manufacturers), it may drain the battery faster on the max power mode.
