I’ve never had a robot vacuum before a few questions for those of you who have them! Do you need to run the sweep function before mopping? How much square footage can they mop on a single charge? Can you set them to mop, say 2x a night, or something like that?
Hi. Sorry for late reply, but better later than never. Well, you can actually use the combo mode: sweeping + mopping at the same time. However from my own personal experience (for the best results possible) - I would suggest first do complete sweeping round and then use mopping mode for designated areas (excluding carpets of course). There are many schedule options in the APP, so you can select and adjust cleaning schedule (intensity, rooms, suction power, mopping level, etc.) directly through your mobile phone.
On the balanced mode - most of the vacuum cleaners should survive cleaning up to 200 sq.m. (2000 sq.f) on the single charge.
What about the suction power for vacuum?? Which one is better?
It will have similar performance overall in cleaning your house :)
I am considering buying the Dreame L10 Pro. I have all hard floors and long hair. Ive heard that lots of long hair gets tangled in the main roller brush. Can this robot operate with the main roller brush removed (relying solely on the 4000 pa suction to vacuum the long hair? I figure this could be a good workaround to avoid hair tangles and associated maintenance??
Most of robot vacuum cleaners have this problem with tangled long hair around the main brush. You will need to clean it up regularly, like once per two weeks. But its pretty easy maintenance.
Suction power has no impact for long hair. Right now I have Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra - and I still need to remove long hair around main brush :))

Hi, I really like your reviews and have a question about it.
I have a 70 square meter apartment, mostly uncarpeted and unobstructed, so what vacuum cleaner do you suggest?
I'm thinking of getting one of these 3:
1. Dreame Bot D9 Max
2. Dreame Bot L10 Pro
3. Dreame Bot Z10 Pro
Or do you suggest something else in that price range?
I would personally pick something from Roborock. Either S5 Max, S7, Q7 Max.
I don't understand why in such reviews the noise of the robots is not a case. They advertise night mode, but actually can you do it if these things are not silent?
Can you turn it on when children do their homework? Not everybody has 150mm house
For the majority of users the noise is not the main spec. when considering. Under the lowest suction mode - the noise levels are very acceptable, not that disturbing, but you also compromise the suction / cleaning efficiency. I truly believe you can find 1 hour during the day for robot cleaning time, so it will not disturb anyone. Or you could make a schedule of several shorter sessions for specific rooms.
Thank you for your comment, I believe noise level still might be an important criteria for some of the clients & some youtubers include that in their reviews. Also, usually this parameter is stated under the specifications sheet of the specific robot vacuum cleaner.
@@NiuxTech I agree with the most things you wrote. But not anybody understands in reality how louder is 75db vs 65. My vacuum cleaner is 78db and you can't hear if someone speaks next to you. Furthermore, if for some reason you make a mess at past hours and you want to clean it, is just impossible without waking up the neighbors.( Karcher se5100).
But in general yes, it's not the first thing you will look in a robot cleaner, but the idea of waking up in a clean house would be perfect!

Both are good options. I do like Dreame L10 due to its obstacle avoidance system. Although, I do think that Roborock has a more smooth APP experience.

Got the Viomi SE last year and tbh it does everything these new ones do at half the price. I am sure there are small nuances but in the end for the average household I don't see a reason to spend 400 - 600 dollars on these new models.

It's decent. If you want better mopping - then buy Roborock S7 :)

When robots are move in the bedroom, it may had use Machine Learning 6:48 to succeed the second test !
I have tested many times, and moved back to bathroom. So I don't think it would learn to avoid in that specific/tricky bathroom location (due to cliff, same color and low height of scales).

L10 Pro - better in obstacle avoidance, S7 is superior in wet mopping. Choose what you need more :)

The S7 is a fantastic vac/mop unit with the vibrating mop pad. I also like the rubber only vac agitator on the S7. The Dreamtech unit looks like it works pretty well with objects. If you're like me, I keep a pretty uncluttered place so the obstacle avoidance is a minimum benefit but I can see that being extremely useful for a lot of people.
Agree with you. I prefer S7 over Dreame L10 Pro, but also S7 is more expensive. I hope Roborock will release S7 with 3D obstacle avoidance (like on Dreame L10 Pro) and woth Roborock auto emty dustbin station it will be awesome combo.
@@NiuxTech I agree with you the Roborock S7 is very expensive 659$ like the auto empty dustbin is 452$ additional like the total is 1111$ it’s expensive.the dream l10 is much more cheaper end has a 3D camera 😎end obstacles avoid 😜
@@ramsyla460 yeah agree. But if money is not problem - I still prefer S7 + auto empty dustbin. I have it, its super cool and it doesn't require dust bags to use.

Hello there I'm undecided between Roborock S6 Max and Dreame bot L10 Pro.
Both robots are great. However if you want better obstacle avoidance - Dreame L10 Pro is better.
If you haven't decided yet get the Dreame Z10
Sometimes obstacle avoidance also means dirt avoidance, can refer to the Y shape of socks (dirt in between V).
Which one is better?
