Great video. while most of the information I have heard from other channels or sources, it is great to hear more people say the same thing and reinforce the ideas. Thank you.
My mum was called Veronica and was a voracious reader. First novel she ever read was Little Women, at aged 5.
This is amazing information. At last, a video that makes total sense about the topic of discussion. Love it.💌
very good. thanks
Have to apply and be approved as an author before most of this can happen.
Helpful video - Thanks. I'm curious: how do you know the magic number of reviews is 300? I've heard a similar thing about Amazon (the magic number was 50) but have since heard that's an urban myth. Another question: are Ratings different from Reviews, in this equation? My book has 15 reviews, but 132 ratings. Does the average rating factor in?
One last question: I was surprised to hear GR does ads. I've never seen one, or if I did, I didn't notice, so I'm thinking ads are not worthwhile on GR. What's your thought?
My book released 18 months ago, and now has a fair number of people who have marked it To Be Read on GR. I also have followers. So this month I'm running my first Giveaway. GR will send an email to all the TBR's and followers (which is good, but these people already know my book). The best thing is there are only about 50 fiction giveaways listed on GR right now. So I'm hoping to find new readers there on the Giveaways list. I'll let you know how it goes!
