'Crimson Queen' tells us that the Queen (the girl) is in love with someone who doesn't even know she exists. That's not uncommon, and everything is innocent here. So far.
Daniela IS the Crimson Queen in this song. Just keep watching and you will see that they are all immersed in this rock opera and every song brings out unbelievable passion and energy by all 3.
I love the angst and pain she communicates.
Thanks for another insightful and enjoyable reaction!
Dany is fully in character in this performance, and what a performance she brings throughout the entire show! Continuing on with the Lunario CDMX show is the way to go forward. Thank you for reacting to The Warning!
100% agree with continuing on the Lunario performances
Most fans will agree with the one possible exception of the Cave version of "Dull Knives." Total attitude and energy, especially from Ale in that performance.
@@steveherman6909 That is an outstanding performance!
This song gets me every time. I haven't even started the video yet and I already have chills. The amount of emotion Dany puts into her voice is simply incredible. I will never get tired of listening to this song. What a performance! Edit to add: They do use a backing track at times to help their sound. They record everything themselves, and it's usually very minor things like a few piano notes or like you said, some higher guitar notes. And if you think there's a lot of emotion in this song, it only gets stronger as the the songs and story progresses. Dany really becomes the characters as she sings, and this is as much an acting performance as it is a concert.
If you're interested in the story, where Dust to Dust was from the point of view of the Queen's ghost after she has died, inviting us to listen to her story, this song introduces us to the Queen proper, where she sings about falling in love with someone, and how it's affecting her in ways she doesn't understand. This is just the beginning!
Really enjoy your reactions, and looking forward to the next one! Cheers!
Dany the lead singer/guitarist writes and plays all the guitar parts. They use backing tracks in their live performances, but again they record them and play them all themselves whether it be piano or strings. All three are trained classical pianists.
Yeah, there's definitely pain there. Such an intense song. They all play piano and will record bits and occasional other sounds like mad laughter (sounds a little Floydian there,) to run as backing when they're preoccupied with their main instruments. Pau is almost always singing along and when they are not specifically singing harmony I think her vocals are sometimes there at a nearly sub audible level that your subconscious probably picks up. This particular concert really brings the album to life as the sound is great and the visuals add to the overall vibe. Plus, they all play like they're living the story. (They always play like that, but here in particular.)
This is the song that got me hooked on The Warning.
I've been singing and listening to it every day since recording this video lol! Great song. It's haunting, I like it a lot
@@Chief322 I think the instrument you sometimes hear in the background is a mandolin or similar that they added as a backtrack.
In their Foro Didi performance, the battery for her Bluetooth transmitter for her guitar mick was out so you can only hear the back track. ruclips.net/video/yV8gpIrIR9s/видео.html
@@Chief322 Little side note- When you do future The Warning reactions, it is indeed safe to stop when you hear the impedance buzz and see the logo come up.
Thanks for coming back to The Warning, Chief. This track has touched many of TW Army before it touched you; and it will touch many more to come.
I have often said that I think they use their vocals to fill in parts that would normally be played by a keyboard or second guitar. Pau's counter line behind Dany's lead vocals is a great example of that.
There is no wrong path to experience this band. If you can, live is certainly special (I think GMan said they are a studio-quality live band). Muse is closing for them on four shows in Mexico in the next 10 days. TW is going to add more Warneros to their ranks.
Chief, thanks for the heart-felt reaction. Your honest commentary is why we keep coming back to watch.
Pau's line is 🔥🔥🎯🔥🔥
also "Muse is closing for them" 😂😂
Right on.
🤘😎👍
I am loving this song. Just my kinda music
Such a beautiful and emotional song. The band is on the bill for Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park this summer in Germany, their first time this side of the pond, so hopefully we'll get at least one U.K. show.
Yes but firs they are gonna open for Four shows in Mexico for Muse, and I can tell in advance, that all four will be a sold out show!
Where have you been? 😂 I can't wait for this and get ready to dive in deep. I just bought my tickets to go see Muse close for The Warning here in Guadalajara next Friday and my first concert in 20 something years!
The Warning live will rock your world!
I’m so jealous @gerardo gonzalez! Their reaction when Rudy gave them the news the were opening for Muse is incredible
@@bighouse1695 I saw that, it was one of the sweetest reactions ever from them and I was almost like all three when I found out they were going to be here in my city so excited 😆
@@RandyTWA I've been waiting so long and finally an amazing anticipation is driving me nuts 😄
First time I heard this song was in the car and it absolutely blew my mind! And that's right after Dust to Dust blew my mind lol.
Thanks for covering The Warning Chief. You have hours of listening pleasure in front of you. ⚡
That's a mandolin on the backing track. Perfect accompaniment for Danny's acoustic guitar.
It's incredible how intense this is.
The Warning never disappoints. Buckle up and enjoy the ride 🤘😎⚠️
Guess who’s opening for MUSE for their Mexico dates this month? Yes, The Warning. Here’s hoping other dates in the MUSE tour can feature them! 🔥🤘#NumberlyGarfs
Thanks for promoting The Warning... you are going to love this album... the intensity grows as you move through the songs.
TWA
For the first 2 albums, I would listen to all live versions. The 3rd album is their first backed by a major label and has outstanding production quality. So you can go either way with that album.
Agreed, always live whenever possible! ⚡
Cheers, Chief, for another great, The Warning reaction. So happy you have gone down this route to do the whole QOTMS album. You will soon see that this is a masterpiece way beyond their teenage years of when they wrote and performed this album. Dany literally lives her character, as you can see in her performance, as do they all.
Not only lyrically, the song structures are very suitable to the mood and atmosphere of that particular song.
Each song on this album is unique to one another, but they all fit as a collective.
Songs from the concerts of Lunario cdmx, this one at Foro didi and at the Whiskey ago go are good video and sound.
Keep 'em rollin' Chief. 🤟
Dany in full form, and the HARMONIES! My favorite harmony chorus of theirs.
These ladies never miss. Must be nice! 😂
✌️💖🎼
Some of TWA are pretty adamant that this album be consumed in order. That's one approach, but it's certainly not the only one. I appreciate that the concept album tells a story, but some of us are more interested in the music than the story. To each their own. It's all good. 😊
Terrific reaction Chief! This song really sets the tone for the rest of the album. Dust to Dust is a perfect intro/outro for the album. @Chief Reacts, you really need to listen to Dust to Dust again after the last song The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade). It totally brings the album full circle. The Warning is my favorite band and I can watch your reactions nonstop. Keep cracking on!
una bestialidad la voz de daniela... puro poder ⚡⚡🤘🤘
crimson queen: A deep and melancholic song, very beautifully interpreted by Dany in acoustic and one of the most beautiful songs from the QOTMS Album, Dany is currently among the best Rock singers
Danny is the Crimson Queen.
They are terrific. One of the best Albums I've ever heard. And the fact that is was written by three teenagers makes it all the more amazing to me. They are so talented.
Im so happy for The girls. They are finally getting there dream come true. They will be opening for Muse in Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City for two shows . wow four show with Muse.!!!
We're here to catch you as you stumble, trip, and fall over these 4 chapters. From here on out, the steam builds and builds, and stuff happens. ⚡
You are like the younger..... much younger brother I wish I had!
Lol!
Your journey is awesome,!
Metal is Your friend!
Music is life!
Emotions make us stronger!
Don't ever stop the journey!
Much love! XX
Nice
Great reaction, Chief! These ladies know how to transmit emotion.
Greetings from Denmark - new subscriber here. I hear you do reactions to Nightwish and now to The Warning - 2 of the bands topping my favourite list. Welcome to The Warning rabbit hole.
Great reaction brother, I just SUBSCRIBED! Dany is the Crimson Queen... 👑💖✨🔥⚡🚀🌟
Great reaction Chief! At times they utilize a backing track to help fill sections of a song in their LIVE show. I believe it is some guitar/ukulele plucking on this track. All of the backing tracks are actual recordings of themselves playing.
🗣 Great to see you back at TW!
🤘🤓🍿
I'm a sucker for rock ballads, and nobody can pull it off like Dany (and especially Pau!!).😮 The level of emotion for the entire performance runs very high, and should be archived as one of the greatest 'rock operas' out there! They were still pretty young, and this was only their second full album, but the level of maturity and skill is undeniable. This was pretty much the 'gold standard' of performances for The Warning for several years, until they started releasing the pro-shot videos for the Teatro Metropolitan show(s) just recently (highly recommend you check out what's available from them currently). There's another great ballad of sorts at the end of this album, sung by Pau, that I'm sure you'll love! Thanks Chief.. new subscriber here.😉 🤘😎🤘 *EDIT:* ...and yes, they did have a piano backing track in this piece. What really sets this off, is Pau's dissonant backing vocals that really gives that dark and creepy vibe!😍
It’s hypnotic..just amazing
I remember commenting one of your first videos about The Warning and believed you’ll like them. I may have missed your first two videos of them (I’ve just watched them before this one) but I am here now and excited to see how this journey goes 🤘 Great decision on QOTMS in order 🎉
It's amazing to me how much of a good performance comes down to confidence. The fact that she slides in and out of being on pitch would make this embarrassing to watch if she was at all timid or not in character, but the fact that she's all in and fully in character makes the missed notes feel stylistic (and I'm sure some of the 'misses' were actually intentional for that purpose as well, but some are simply the biproduct of playing live and being more concerned with the overall performance than just being accurate).
"Fuck me" is the only phrase that fits actually, so no apologies needed.
You should watch The Warning vlogs #23 (ch. 1&2), #25 (ch. 3), & #26 (ch. 4), for information on the album. They don't play any of the songs, so there are no spoilers.👍❤🤘
Chief, you're in for one hell of a ride with this album. I would suggest just sticking with the Lunario videos for your first time through so you can really experience the emotion that Dany puts into the character. There are many other performances of several of the songs that may be better than the individual song at Lunario, but the whole package is well worth it. Besides, there is no shame in doing multiple reactions to the same song from different shows if you want to see how it has evolved over time as a few of these songs are still staples in their live shows today even with a new album to promote. Gawd how i love experiencing this album for the first time again through your experience.
Wow!
For this song the Foro Didi performance is very special and even more emotinional if possible, because Dany had an issue with her guitar, which was not hearable, and so she sand this one a cappela. Maybe you like to watch for your own entertainment: ruclips.net/video/Ty6rl3eZPrM/видео.html
As I'm sure others have mentioned, they _do_ use backing tracks, but they are sparingly used, and all performed by themselves. All of them play classical piano, so I'm not sure who exactly recorded those "emphasis" bits you noted. Probably Pau, since her initial pass throughs on composing songs is on the piano.
Esta es la única canción del álbum que está compuesta por una sola de las hermanas, letra y música by Dany.
Y ya sabéis, Dany is pasion. 😁
Ey, amigo.
🙋⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥
I feel like she channels Kurt Cobain. First time hearing her.
Reminds me of Janice Joplin
Welcome to The Warning! There's a lot more to see and hear from them! They don't know how to write a bad song, and the rabbit hole goes really deep.
Shades of Zeppelin - ‘Battle of Evermore’
Arrian wait until your hear the drummer sing lead. Checkout Dust to Dust from Lunario.

keep it up bro, doing great
I want to suggest this, if you've not already reviewed. This blew my mind. Aurora is an amazing songstress.

This was their first major concert. I love how Dany looks back to see how Jer little sister Ale on the bass is doing. Ale was just 13 for this concert. This is my favorite song on the album, but they ate all good. Just so much passion in this one.
