This is the best tutorial for DIY curly gal hair cutting. Plus you're cutting it in the style that I'm looking for. I can't afford to get a deva cut in a salon, so I appreciate that you shared this. You look amazing.

I have more 3C/4A in parts 4B hair I would say shoot it’s just all over but I’m hoping I can figure out how to cut it without messing it up🤔😱. I am so nervous but I’m going to go for it. I would also like everyone to know that DevaCurl teaches FOUR different classes for cutting curly hair.
Level 1 stylists can cut Wavy to Curly hair.
Level 2 stylists can cut Curly to Coily hair.
Level 3 stylists are Certified, meaning they can do ANY hair texture.
Also, stylists who took the class called THE ART OF TEXTURE can do Curly/Coily/Tight curly hair.
Stylists who took the Art of Texture class can do what a Level 2 and Level 3 stylists can do without going through Level 2 and 3 classes.
@Episode Interactive if you hair is textured (wavy/curly/kinky) and is cut one length, it will ALWAYS produce a TRIANGLE result.

This is amazing!! I’ve been cutting my own hair since my relaxed days in high school. I’ve been cutting my hair in a blunt style but now that it’s grown out, my hair lacks the volume I want. My sister and bff both have extremely coily, cutly hair, like yours, and I am a professional who, taught myself to cut their hair like a shrub, (but understanding the tecnuque of byilding graduationand addong layers if that makes sense - one curl at a time, and sometimes cutting into the curl to reactivate it, by removing weight. It's just texture, but people are scared because there are so many horror stories.I am.not sure why, eitherI feel bad about that re: my profession. Every haulir dressser SHOULD be able.to cut curly hair. But leaving enough weight at the top so it doean't go crazy.is also key. Your hair is gorgeous. I may get Deva certified just so people trust me with their hair. I love cutting curly hair! Good job!
