GIRL...I literally hate my straight hair! I straighten it to ensure my ends are cut and dense and not splitting but beyond that I want my hair in a protective style or in its natural state. Thank you for this!

Thank you for explaining your technique for shaping your natural hair. I never understood how trimming my hair while holding the hair down vs holding the hair out impacted the shape of how my hair would look. Your visual examples helped a lot!!!

this is THE best video I've seen for shaping and trimming hair. I've been cutting my own hair since the panarabread and my last salon cut was for a silk press that I haven't been able to maintain. I've been cutting and trimming my hair for months and just looking effed up and lopsided ROUGH. just tried this technique and finally!!! Shape!! I feel great! thank u!!

A few years ago I cut the color out of my hair and my hair been soooo uneven since, now I just need to go in and trim. I think my hair would grow alot better.

Same! I noticed as my hair got longer it was harder to get that volume I wanted. So I think it’s more so still up keeping with the shape as it grows out! And thank you!!
