I know that it sounds cliche, but my 1st DevaCut a couple of months ago, CHANGED MY LIFE! The products are WONDERFUL! I have just started embracing my curls, since I grew up with straight hair. Low dose chemo for nearly 30yrs has permanently changed my hair. I've finally decided to make the best of it all. Thanks DevaCurl for helping me do that!
I’ve been transitioning from heat damage for 9 1/3 months now and I’m tired of my hair being so uneven so I’m going in for my deva in one week!!! I am too excited and can’t wait to embrace my mane! ➿✨
A few commenters don't like the shorter layers after this lady's DevaCut. I'm not sure because I liked her hair before. But the after look is definitely more fresh and youthful.
I'm going to be honest, I immediately like the video the moment I saw Christin was in the video. I love her!!! It's a dream of mine to one day have her shape my curls!!
I recently visited your salon in SoHo uploaded a video showing the transformation process! The results are truly incredible... thank you so much, Devacurl!
I wish we had this in the Philippines. It's so hard to manage curly hair in a tropical weather and majority of the people's hair are straight so only stylists with curly hair know how to cut curly hair. I really want to try the deva cut :)
It is a pity to not have you here in Mexico. People don't know how to cut curly hair I've been struggling with that issue. They still don't understand that it should cut being dried. Love your work.
Ooooh okay, now I understand what the heck a deva cut is. Great explanation. I am a bit underwhelmed tho. The prices ppl quoted had me thinking it was something magical 😳 Still fun to watch tho 🙃
@@BFFwithCrystal. It's just a normal haircut, but you do it dry so you can immediately see the results. And it obviously includes a lot of layering. Kind of underwhelming

OMG that's the (after) shape hair I have ALWAYS wanted. I sort of got it there before with product, lifting and spraying and mashing the length ends in to make it look tapered in toward my neck. So, i leave the house looking great, but in an hour or two gravity pulls down my height and it falls sort of flat around my crown, while still full and fluffy on the ends (I call it my cocker spaniel ear hair, lol) like in the before pic. i have my first divacut scheduled tomorrow. so scared and excited. my hair is similar to the before right now, maybe a bit thinner. I'm hoping so hard i can finally get that round shape into my curls i've always wanted! Pray for me, People!

It’s the same cut for everyone, tons of short layer- it’s called a waterfall cut it’s a cut from the 80’s. It is not my thing. Not a current style at all. MyKayla Hill that’s usually only if your hair is high density and how “short” do you mean? I mean chin length just doesn’t work with layers since the sides are short anyway
I got ripped off. My experience was nothing like on the video. I paid almost $300 for a half assed job when I went to get a deva cut. Follow with One Condition and add your favorite Deva Stylers to soaking wet hair in the shower. Your curls will form a cast. When completely dry, scrunch to release for soft, touchable, static-free curls. Hope this helps.
I've seen a few deva stylists not cut the "curl by curl" way. They cut it dry but not curl by curl. That kinda scares me to go in and get one even though I need one. Is there an actual reason for them not doing the curl by curl? Am I scared for no reason?? Lol

she looks so cute with curly bangs! it's something i've been thinking about, but i'm not sure. the front of my hair has issues with curling like the rest of my hair 😥
I’m so confused... I been reading so many comments about devacurl products being bad, and messing up your natural curls... I didn’t get to see it but I bumped into a RUclipsr who titled her video caption “how devacurl products ruined my hair” 🤔
Hi there, we want you to feel confident using our products. That's why we've done extensive testing both in our own labs & salons as well as in third-party testing facilities. You can read all about the test results, our ingredients, and more on factsaboutdevacurl.com.

Im so confused 😭 it's said to detangle the hair before; so Ive just detangled it after washing (as I was going to do this on myself tonight) however I feel it won't be as curly when it dries now.... Does this not matter or would I be better washing it another day, not touching it and then doing the deva cut? Basically, is the detangling an essential part of the process, or would I be better off not detangling it if this is how I usually wear it? I was really desperate to do this tonight so if somebody could get back to me ASAP that would be wonderful!
I have a couple questions I'm probably one of the oldest people trying to transition to embrace the curly hair method 54 years old my hair is past my bra strap in the back it's making me crazy but the diva products can be purchased in a store or do I have to order them and does it contain mint in the ingredients? I'm highly allergic to Mint so that's the case it's a no-go for me TIA

You can also look for local salons on their site and you could purchase from them or else it would be ordering online. (I have found some products to be cheaper on amazon).
Everyone commenting on her bangs are wrong. She looks youthful: 10 years shaved right off by doing that cut. I’m going to get this exact cut to show off my tight coils on the neck area. I have exactly the same hair type as this lady
My mother and I found a local stylist nearby and we're both going to see her on the 31st. I'm really hoping the crown of my hair will curl once more like it used to! Now those areas fall mostly flat while the underside of my hair remains curly.
Were you able to get your hair done? I have the same issue with my hair...curly, but my crown and bangs go limp to straight...were you able to achieve curls on your crown/bang area? Please advise. Thanks!
@@misses4439 Yes, a stylist can definitely tell if the ends are dead & should be trimmed! Usually with curly hair, dead ends are straight or looser in curl pattern.
DevaCurl hmm that’s odd because my hair curls all the way to the end no straight pieces but I still know it’s split because it’s a struggle getting through it at the ends but ok I’ll be thinking about it
I got my first Deva cut last weekend. And after watching this video I realize I did NOT get what I paid for. My stylist immediately combed all my curls out as straight and poofy as possible, she cut about an inch off of my hair the sectioned it off, twisted the sections into ropes and cut into the twists to add "texture" she then shampooed my hair with shampoo that was not Deva Curl and it became obvious to me later that it was not sulfate free since my hair turned into straw. Then she scrunched some kind of Redkin gel into my hair and used a blow dryer on me until my hair was as straight and lifeless as I have ever seen it. I'm so mad! This is not what I pain $75 for! She said she was trained in Oidad a D Deva Curl and she even showed up on the Deva Curl search site. Wtf?

Where can I get these products in Denmark? :) Outside EU, the shipping and taxes will about double the original price of the products, and even within EU, almost no-one ship to Denmark, and if they do, it always gets lost in the mail. Plus, the products alone are twice the original price, not included shipping. Also, are there any Deva stylists in Denmark? Even the 'curl specialists' can't seem to make it look right, though they are more gentle with the hair than ordinary hairdressers. They cut the hair wet, and doesn't understand the concept of shrinkage. I LOVE your products, but they are just impossible to get. (literally) We need you here :)
As we are based in the US and Canada, I'm sorry to say that shipping may be high. And that we only have stylists in these regions we sell our line. Perhaps make a fun trip to NYC and get your DevaCut at our flagship in SoHo, Devachan Salon!
It’s worth doing a live chat and asking! Although we can’t get devacurl in the U.K., we have a few deva certified stylists! Lindsey Hughes the curl whisperer, Saulo the curl way, récaine beyond curls, Nikki curls confidence, Clair the curl consultant and me as of February
+Fabulous, what products does these stylists use? My hair is driving me crazy right now! The only thing that ever worked for me was the deva curl, especially the gel, I can't find anything else. I look like a cave troll right now! (sorry for the frustration, you may know the struggle) :)
I need to hide thinning hair at my crown but I'm really tired of always having to use something to position my hair over my thin spots. Is it too much to hope for a deva cut to help me let my hair grow long and style it without combs and clips??
This is a great question for your stylist who can have hands in your hair and answer more accurately than we can. Please type in your zip to our stylist finder on devacurl.com and schedule a consultation in person!
"Ur hair is longer when it's wet" EXACTLY my stylist always cuts it while wet and it straightens my hair first.first it's ruins my hair and second while it's straight I like it but when it's curly it's so short and I hate it.

Wtf?
Hi there, we are so sorry to hear about your experience. Customer feedback is very important to us and we recommend that you leave a review under the salon using our Find A Stylist Tool💚

I have 2 B or 2 C hair. Will normal cut work on my hair or do I need to find someone who can do diva cut?
We recommend finding a Deva specialist to get the most customized cut for your texture :)
Any locations in Melbourne, Australia?
My hair without product is a frizzy mess but with product it’s curled. What do i do?
You can leave a very small amount of One Condition in your curls before going in for a DevaCut if you feel like your curls are too frizzy 💚
Where are you located? I'm interested in getting the devacurl treatment
We have two salons in NYC and Deva Stylists across the US. Check out our Find A Stylist Tool to find someone near you 💚:

I went and got a diva cut. Paid $100 because I have long hair. She butchered my hair . I never ... Ever get my haircut by other people because that happens every single time. I was so disappointed. I wish there was an experienced stylist near me.
For Denmark you can order on nordstrom.com -- they are a trusted retail partner.
HereIAm247 devacurl may not keep a public record but they do keep record nonetheless and sometimes will tell you through their websites live chat
+Fabulous, what products does these stylists use? My hair is driving me crazy right now! The only thing that ever worked for me was the deva curl, especially the gel, I can't find anything else. I look like a cave troll right now! (sorry for the frustration, you may know the struggle) :)
So I am transitioning and most of my hair doesn't curl except the roots. Will the deva cut, cut all the damaged ends off??
If you're talking Big Chop, then yes. But you can get a DevaCut without getting a Big Chop. It depends on how long you want to transition for.

Wht if my hair is not curly at all? Can I still have the hair cut?!
"Ur hair is longer when it's wet"
EXACTLY my stylist always cuts it while wet and it straightens my hair first.first it's ruins my hair and second while it's straight I like it but when it's curly it's so short and I hate it.
Can you use lotion on 2b wavy hair ?
I liked it better before she just needed the styling part lol
