It’s shows how people who grew up with certain music can be emotionally moved when they hear a beloved singer. And younger people don’t really have that same emotion yet and life experience. You can just imagine what her dad is being reminded of while listening

Chris Cornell voice is always special for me, the most beautiful voice of male rock singer imho. And yes all 3 version are great but if I had to pick one it's only for my personal reason wich is I love Chris Cornell version more.

Your daughter kinda of share some of Toni Cornell's features Edit: I also remember where I was, I had been drinking a LOT that night and was depressed myself, then I had to go to the store (I'm in the EU) in the morning still pretty drunk because I had nothing to eat and got the "drunk munchies" kind of... Anyway, since it was in May it was sunny outside even though it was early in the morning and for some reason I decided to take a photo of like a tree and the clouds and the sunshine in one photo and only many months later I realized I had taken it really close to almost the minute when he passed away (US time) really eerie... So to me that's a photo I'll keep forever as weird as it sounds. I was also a teenager when I first heard Chris Cornell. I was in shock when I heard he took his own life. It was a sad sad day. And I can't help but get a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye every single time I hear his music! Another great video from you guys. I look forward to so many more! R.I.P. Chris... you are a legend and a voice that no doubt will be heard for years and years to come.

This performance makes me so emotional, his voice is so soulful and beautiful. I had a similar experience when i heard of his passing. This is the best version of the song in my humble opinion.

I've listened to this video probably 100 times. Then I see his kids after his suicide and just wonder what in the world made him do that. I just do not understand the pain that a person must go through to do this to themselves and the pain his friends and family had to go through as well. I lost my only child (26) to a murder a year ago, yet I have never felt so low as suicide being an option. Never. Hope you never have to go through that with your beautiful daughters. Again, you have reacted to a great song and with all due respect, your emotions said it all without you saying a word. Bravo.

RIP in peace Chris. You are sorely missed by many. When he passed it was a kick in the gut, Chester as well. I grew up with grunge and they all produced some great music but there was a lot of darkness and pain which caused it to be so great. Vedder is unfortunately all we have left but one thing that will last forever is their music. They left us with a lot to enjoy. Long live Eddie.

I had the pleasure of seeing Chris with Soundgarden when they opened for Guns N Roses in 92...funnily enough Faith No More were on the same bill and all 3 bands were exceptional but Chris stole the day with his incredible voice

This version immediately puts an overbearing gulp in the back of my throat and a fizz in my nose that I have to try hard to swallow to stop from crying. As soon as he starts singing, it sweeps the emotional legs from under me before I have a chance to realise what's happened. I'm fighting a losing battle from that point on: there will be tears at some point! It's like when I saw Simba's dad die in the Lion King for the first time. Or when Eleven reads the heartfelt letter from Hopper that he never got to give her at the end of Stranger Things. I'm totally with you on this Chuck, this performance is incredible. I'd be interested to see a music generation swap in these videos, see what makes your daughter tick too and what your consequent reaction is to that? Would it be a role reversal? Would be an interesting experiment.
Another haunting rendition of this song. Def has a awesome voice. That said I think both versions are just as equal in there own way. Both did justice to this song imo.

I think every fan and even those new to Cornell is moved by this performance. Cornell version cuts through to the soul. This is a guy who would have probably laughed at the thought of covering this song in the late 80s. At that time he just started to be able to control his beast of a voice. His music back then was incredible. The first sound garden song I heard was nothing to say and that did it for me in the late 80s. I don't know what else to say. I love you Chris. Those of us who followed you from afar know you did not take your own life. Love you and miss you.

@@djentyman4002 Probably was the comments, I noticed they've indirectly and politely mentioned before about the negative comments from people and at one point I noticed they seemed like they were dreading making another video. They probably got burned out and tired of it, and abandoned the project indefinitely.

Chris was one of the greatest vocalists to ever live one of my favourites of my time I had the absolute pleasure to see him solo and with sound garden when he died it was like a piece of my heart had just shattered I have so many good memories of his music I met my girlfriend at one of chris,s shows one of the greatest nights of my life

Im guessing the channel is dead. I mean for a channel that uploaded consistently every week to just stop. No pinned post explaining anything or a reason for absence. Fits the pattern for other dead channels ive seen. Just seems odd that it would be this long without some updated info if there was going to be a lapse in uploads.
Have you read through any of the comments talking all sorts of shit about this daughter and her reactions. She's not reacting the way people want her to and they're bitching and calling her dead inside and all kinds of other stupid shit. She doesn't like Chris Cornell. Whether he's dead or alive, she is uninterested in his music. That is her reaction. I guess some people only want to watch the reactions that reinforce their own personal opinions on the music being listened to. Dissenting opinions get shit on, and kids get attacked apparently. I can definitely see that as a reason for them to quit what was supposed to be a fun channel that brought a dad and his kids together.

Chris was a fantastic artist and a great loss to us all. His voice was truly fantastic.
But, Sinead (RIP) was an angel. The two comparisons are not fair.
Sinead's video is iconic and likely one of the best videos ever made...
But, to be fair, you'd have to compare one of her live versions. You feel it deep down; she pulls you in and you feel to her voice & emotion. I loved Sinead's album, but it is studio engineered & doesn't compare to her live performance videos.
We've lost two truly great artists in a short time span.

EMOTIONAL
I get the feeling that his daughter is scared. I don't think she has seen her father this emotional over a singer and a song sung with such sadness. Music is so much about memories and how much they mean to each of us. When one of our beloved musicians passes it leaves a hole in our hearts because we have lost a dear friend. I know that sadness all too well as I am 70 years old and I miss so many artists I loved. It takes time for that feeling to pass and reliving the love you felt for that person and the music by listening again is the only way you can somewhat recover. His daughter will learn that hard lesson along the way.
You should hear his cover of Billy Jean. That will blow you away
