I have the dynex tv with the built in dvd player which i never use but today turning it on it says input blocked... Hoping to get some help with this... Thanks in advance!😅
Could be that the parental controls have been turned on, which would block the input in question from being used. Go into the menu and turn off the parental controls. Usually the default password is 0000.
I have had my tv for a while. It went out last week during a storm. I have an indoor antenna attached to it. I have followed all ur steps but I still get the “scan for channels “ message. I even bought a new antenna but no improvement. Any ideas ?
Maybe your antenna needs to be adjusted. Try putting it near a window and run a rescan. Indoor antennas work best in strong signal areas. It also depends where you live. You might have to try moving the antenna around a few times (run a rescan each time you move it).
What city do you live in or near? Try looking your city up here, this will give you an idea of how many channels you might have available to receive:

Sounds like an analog TV. There are no more analog broadcasts in North America. If you’re in North America you will need to connect a digital converter box to your TV to receive digital TV channels with an antenna:

I'm actually having a different problem. I've never used this TV to watch regular TV. I only used the DVD feature to play workout discs. I haven't had to use it in a while, and the last time I did, everything was fine. Just plugged it in, popped in the disc and all was good. Tried recently and get nothing but a message that says, "No Signal". Never had that before. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. By the way, it won't even eject my disc.
Does your TV have a built-in DVD player? If so that’s a different model than this one. It’s possible that you’ve selected the wrong input (ie: AV, HDMI, TV, etc.).

Have you tried the moving the antenna in different spots to see what works best? How many TV's do you have connected to it?

I tried hooking up a N64 and am getting NO signal when I power it on :( I've triple checked correct av input and tried powering on/off unplugging, plugging back in etc.) I know it works! I play it on my other newer tv sometimes. Anyone have any suggestions ?
Maybe it is the cables. Are they damaged in any way? Or it could be the input on that TV is damaged in some way. Sometimes AV plugs can break (the soldered connections can break inside the TV).
