HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

So the same devs who said the polar pack AR cant be buffed cuz "muh realism". Yet they want us to believe that a trooper can one shot a hunter with a single throwing knife? The same hunter that can eat 5 rounds from said AR and not go down!? Yeah, im getting fed up with the Destiny level balancing and gaslighting coming from Arrowhead.
Why assume Joel is gone? What if AGS is looking for TWO Game Masters? That's possible, no?
If someday we discover that Joel was fired before Alexus I will delete sony and all their games from my memory permanently and empty the recycle bin.
I could use good news that stays good news in my life. Because right now it feels like everything good that shows up, it's just going to lead to a downfall before it has it's time, or the things once long standing are now also going or already gone. And anyone I've tried to share some of those struggles with that have struggles, they just call out comparing pain and I'm the badguy again.
Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, nerve damage and no ways forward from what's just going to be bad seems at limits and ends. I just want things at peace, and in a world that will burn statues of all it's historic figures because they couldn't keep on the level of sainthood, just asking people if they'll come out will get you a wild reaction how their lives come first, even though they're doing plenty else, have a fit by just asking like you're hounding them, even though you've only asked twice in like three months, then relate to them about pain and they say you're compairing and just ditch you and use you as a catalyst excuse why they left, things officially even though they clearly just wanted the title and leaving foot in the door rather than being a part of things, yeah.... Think I'm just out of what I'm really enjoying anymore that I had left.
And when you have nerve damage that jobs wont even hire you, yet the state says you must not be that bad and you should work, it's the literal catch 22 as they, and several others, just make you not want to be here anymore if nothing can get fixed. And nerve damage doesn't fix so well. Not when they seem to make more money off of more just seeing you every so often and giving some pills rather than looking toward new answers and your insurance doesn't even straighten out a thing they're suppose to be paying for but keep dodging it because it's just that much less per year they have to pay out.
Well, so much of the world says that pale guys who like guy things need not apply and not welcome. Well it's a message they're allowed to keep pushing hard that we dont belong. Guess over time when you're one of the few who speak up how thats not really equality, guess those of us who really did fight for equality and wanted it to stay there need not apply. Some of us were just more stepping stones to help them up then be lunged off of and left to sink, and we just couldn't keep rising back up again.
This was fun while it lasted, and I hope it gets there again. But Im not going to be able to keep affording things forever and it all seems to peter out faster and there's just no place for leftovers like me. At least I had some better times past for some years. But sure enough, hard work doesn't guarantee success and I'm just not on the DEI list of wanted individuals. The world is indeed very sexist and racist. It just does it in the name of this diversity and inclusion that they simply dont want me in.
HD2 is just a game. But it was sucha breath of fresh air how things felt early on with people reveling in it and more supportive. Now even though i work good with a team, doesnt seem like I see many of those people I've friended up with go back, SONY broke the spirit, nerfing broke a lot of the wild thrill, and yet you can friend someone and it doesnt carry it over to steam or much of another platform so you can't contact them in game. You have to try and play match the name on discord. What happend to the days when everyone could hear at least a little bit of voice chat instead of people so scared of what someone may say on stream that they turn voice off, or even just sending mails to friends, THROUGH GAME, so they have a chance to further know you're trying to communicate with them even if they're not in the same ship?
How are such common sense things no longer in? Because we all have PSN or STEAM instead? Doesn't help when not everyone is playing on the same platform. And i LOVE cross platform, but I even signed up and have my same account linked up wise on PSN that I've had for years. Friending someone in game doesn't not just NOT add them on steam, but it also does NOT add them on PSN, so why the F did they ask ANYONE to link up ? The lie of convenience? It's not there, cuz I linked my accounts day one and then I still also fought for the right for people not too, cuz they shouldn't have too. it makes no sense, there's literally no benefit. Not then, not now.
B ut I guess I'm indeed just a bit sad, my thoughts here dont matter, no one is going to want to read all this, but my hands are actually working currently so I guess this became my place to share. Cuz no one is going to want to hear much anyways unless they're dictating a wild particular schedule and only doing it because they make money at it.
Confirmed by Twinbeard, Joel has NOT been fired. Arrowhead are just looking for a second Game Master to help Joel out. Glad I predicted correctly.

Nah. It's honestly perfect as it is. There's PLENTY of ammo strewn across every map, plus reserves every few minutes.

😂 honestly, it’s ridiculous. During the meridia MO and most bug planet MOs there was a good 95% of the player base doing MO. Soon as it’s on a bot planet it drops to 50%

Honestly not showing supply lines in-game, something which is absolutely CRITICAL for understanding how to play the campaign, is ridiculous.
Ehhh not really. There have been some major orders where we’ve had to go through other planets to get to the main planet but usually every MO involves a planet that is easily accessible. Also since it’s a video game people just hop on and play for fun against bugs and don’t really care about the war larping.
Just get the app... it's even a website and it's free. If they added the supply lines on the war table people would just complain it's too busy and ignore it anyways. I'd like to see it added optionally where you can enable it in settings or with a button press but there's bigger fish to fry honestly.

About as ridiculous as claiming out weapons are influenced by over 20 stat factors yet they only show us 5?
Losing both SEAF training facilities on the Automaton front but retaining both in bug space should be a clear sign of future MO and once the Squids show up it will just get worse
This is why I desperately DON'T want them to introduce the illuminate while we're still hemorrhaging players and there is still a complete lack of coordination in this player base.

Well that's exactly what's happened.
I used the "Grenade Glitch" like CRAZY, but my reasoning was because the spawns/reinforcements were bugged. And the CEO now CCO admitted the Time To Kill was too high & combined with the increased enemy count - warranted usage of the bug IMO.
But yes that is exactly what they want to turn around - enemies less & easier to kill & weapons to be made fun again.
And it breaks the immersion. As war drags on, all sides make improvements. All sides try to kill their enemies a little better than before. All sides figure this out. The idea that our weapons are actually becoming less effective... it feels less like us spreading Democracy for Super Earth, and more like the Developers are holding us back because we're winning too much. We're not fighting the bots. We're fighting Arrowhead, and that kind of shit just makes me want to go play something else.
I hope AH is bringing the noise come thursday. For a lot of people, this is the devs' LAST chance to prove that they can turn this situation around. If it's meh... a lot of folks are just going to stop giving a fuck.

But yes, that is why the CEO became the CCO (creative/balance design) - to make the game FUN again.
The person doing the balancing prior to this was a guy named Alexus, who ruined "Hello Neighbor 2", per example.
@@DutchGuyMike I've heard a lot of talk from Johan, but relatively little substance. There's no evidence that this is gonna get any better but no evidence to suggest it's going to get worse either. We'll see what the thursday patch brings, and I'll make a judgment from there.
As for this Alexus clown, I've seen the way he conducts himself on discord. Holy damn, does he like....HATE software development or something? Is he trying to sabotage his own resume so he stops getting jobs designing games so he can go fulfill his dream of being a hair dresser or something? It feels like he constantly and consistently DOES NOT want to be here.
Its all on JOEL hands now. I remember that we were at 10% decay rate with 80% lib left to go during the meridia mission, until JOEL realized we were not gonna make it because there were not enough divers, and he lowered the rate to 2.5 or something.
well the vid said he isnt working with arrowhead. and watching other vids i think the decay rate went down gradually over time, not like it was nerfed in chunks

The decay rate for meridia started at 10% and was continuously lowered by half a percent or so every couple hours to simulate the planet slowly being hollowed out by the dark fluid. We even got a message from high command telling us exactly that
Yeah idk how much they planned it. Game masters gotta give you a win sometimes. The Meridia missions were fun and cool and seemingly quietly introduced a new bug type that I’ve actually seen on other planets (green mutated warrior - can call swarms), but did they plan for those voice lines of the democracy agent guy already? Did they intend to give us the railroad plot armor win? Idk.
@@maxwellfujs6124 think the kamakazie warrior was around maybe around release, not sure though. But they show up with the green bile spewers. And im pretty dang sure any medium/small bug can call swarms, seen larvae, both variants of warriors, hunters, pouncers, brood commanders, and hive guards call swarms, and i still need to keep an eye out if the green spitter larvae do. Feel like larvae are the most prone to call them though
The one disappointment from fixing the unlimited grenade glitch is that we can't see how funny it would be if you have unlimited throwing knives, and the whole game you just keep throwing knives.

The difficulty spikes and the lack of really standout weapons and gear drove the player base down because that made it not fun
It wouldn't be so bad if it all started bad and stayed bad but it started out good and then everything got nerfed. We know how it could have been and that got taken away

Difficulty is not bad. And that is not what attributed to player counts. Just say you personally lack skill to tackle high lvl dives. This game is by far very easy.

@@DZA3051 look, I get that. I regularly do bot missions on helldive difficulty, but having so many weapons in game and most of them being useless is kinda disappointing. I would love to have more diverse missions where different specific loadouts are necessary for each one. Like the evacuate high value asset missions where the airburst rocket launcher shines best or the revamped dark fluid missions where Tesla towers reign supreme. But we need missions that are tailored to not just specific strategems but also specific primaries, it's a waste to have so many weapons and strategems be useless after all.

That's fair. Something I have absolutely zero complaints about so far is the narrative HD2 is spinning. They're making a good D&D campaign!
Now, the technical execution of that campaign leaves a bit to be desired. Meridia was a goddamn buggy shit show from start to finish, and I'm not talking about the Terminids.
I am going to say the same thing I said to a buddy who showed me the meme, the thing that immediately sticks out to me, is that none of those stages said anything about weapon and or stratagem buffs. "changes" can be literally anything and everything. "changes" are meaningless in terms of transparency which is frankly the major thing I want to see and the lack of it is what's soured me personally on the game so far. If the patch delivers and I'm just being unnecessarily pessimistic then all the better, but this isn't the time for the devs/CM's to be needlessly vague, they need to deliver, and show that they are communicating.
The newly announced warbond imo, should have been pushed back. It being announced before the patch is bad optics, even though its probable that the teams who work on them are different from the ones handling the patch it comes off in the larger scheme of things as they are devoting time and resources on selling more without fixing the long standing issues.
Agreed but it looks like Arrowhead is shifting from listening to their player base to acting like the Destiny devs. Which is to say constant nerfs, bugged updates, and locking out content you already paid for

im hoping they change the stupid AA debuff on bot planets. Why does it makes sense to have -1 strategem for this debuff. Should be maybe limit to 1 eagle strategem or less eagle uses. why should AA debuff affect orbital strategems
AA should be no eagles. Maybe heavy fog could be no orbitals. Limit our choices rather than the amount of choices.
One guy reasoned that we should be able to equip 4, but that it enables the 4th one on destroying the AA emplacement.

The planet even animates the destruction of a destroyer in the fleet - destroyer's guns as seen in ship module are the direct source of orbital strategems.
when the automaton hard missions are as difficult as Termenid suicide missions, and just not as fun, how can they expect us to clear the same number of planets as they set for bug major orders? Half the players (if that) and twice as hard.
Dude it's like a third of the players. Pre Sony it used to be an average of 200k active, now it's like 40k at best

Honestly I used to think the same way but sounds like a skill issue… you have to change your stratagems or use diff weapons to counter then. It takes more strategy for the automatons and I don’t have a problem with that. Just get better lol
bots are easier if u have the right loadout
@@midnightzgamer20k yeah steam wise at least the numbers are down the drain, like 2 and a half months or so ago we were in the 200-300k peak averages, meanwhile we haven't hit over 100k in this last month, and hit under 50k for the first time ever, even launch day peak was over 60k, this last week.

The problem with bot missions is not only the fact that there are less bot enjoyers, also the fact most times higher lvl bot missions take away 1 strat.
Is still doable? Yes. Enjoyable, not enough to someone used to run with 4 on the bug side.
I love running bots but it is boring when you run days on end with 3 stratagems, and massive amounts of fog in all planets, been playing since launch and the whole fog on every planet on the last couple months is tiring. We need people to come fight bots but the game seems to incentivize them to stay away.
If anything there should be fog on the bug planets instead of the bot planets. It would vibe much better

I don't find it enjoyable being gibbed by a missile from 300ft away (I dove into it as well)
Theonly problem with fog that I have is that it makes the game more ugly. It's fine to have it on some planets to make it more hellish, but recently it feels like theres fog on every plants. Maybe I'm just unlucky.
Using the DirectX11 launch command (look it up) it gives more FPS and reduces fog and its quality.
Joel is alive and well, just very busy learning other people the role of GM.

If the devs hadn't nerfed the only decent weapons into the dog crap level the rest of the weapons were at, everyone wouldn't have a problem doing level 7 and higher for Super Samples.
Bro not all the decent guns were nerfed stop spreading lies. Punisher plasma. Sickle (still viable). Scorcher. Breakers are good. Dominator. Adjudicator. Give these a chance.

@@rayzerot turn it to semi 🫡 guns have recoil. Don’t let recoil scare you. Wear armor that reduces recoil while crouch or prone. Burst along w/ not moving/crouching/proning goes a long way. It was originally a DMR so when I run the adjudicator like so it’s extremely effective

I remember a while back that Arrowhead was looking into giving Joel a team to back him up. Maybe the job posting doesn't mean our favorite antagonist is gone, but rather that they're expanding his "department" so the dude can actually get some downtime. Either way, until Arrowhead comments, it'll be a mystery.
I don't know if this post will help players that are struggling but I can play at Helldive with little issue with a team so here's my operation: 1. Is to have a team that moves and doesn't engage everything that moves/engages too long. The longer the fight, the harder it will be to get out of it OR finish it. 2. Optimize yourself for what your team lacks instead of what is comfortable. Choose weapons to gap fill or enhance what your teammates can already do. 3. When choosing strategems, pick at least one for chaff-clearing (Eagle Napalm is good for this or you can pick the 500kg to also break structures while killing heavy enemies and chaff) and pick a weapon that can either clear chaff (dedicatedly) or clear heavies (dedicatedly, though something like the Spear can pull double duty). Clearing the objective first and completing side objectives along the way at least opens up evac if things are too tough, but after clearing the objective you can comb the field as you please. Just don't make the whole thing about solely getting samples or you'll find yourself dying or putting your teammates in danger and getting nothing in the end. The whole premise is to move quickly and quietly, getting what you can along the way and then deciding to stay or not.
Nah, I go for high kill count, I hunt down everything that moves and engage every fight as long as possible. Imo there isn't enough enemies to kill (excluding lvl 9) so I actively try to pull as many patrols and breaches into the fight as possible.
I have a few different load outs but iv really been enjoying mines, 6 incendiary grenades, incendiary breaker, rover is nice, ac turret, and a few other random stuff.
I always find an extra EATs or Qcannon to help against heavies, machine gun is nice too.
Mines are fantastic, unlike traditional turrets they can't be over run and destroyed, they stay on map whole game, and can be used both for offense and defense. When I see a breach I toss a mine in the center and enjoy the show.
Admittedly I focus more on the hord and let the homies deal with heavies, but most players bring heavy load out and neglect the ankle biters.

I prefer subtle playstyles only because you have groups of people that either don't really talk to each other over mic or can't converge or distribute threats. Threat assessment plays a big part in mission completion IMO
What I would like to see is a shift to samples where, on 1-3 there 1 in 50 regular samples gets replaced with a rare sample, and on 4-6 1 in 50 rare samples gets replaced with a super samples.
I would also like to see an exchange or something for capped resources. It's annoying being capped on requisition and common samples as you try to farm more rare samples.
I think that is one of the big reasons the player count goes down. The first 50-100 hours gives you very meaningful progression. However, once you get to level 3 and 4 ship module upgrades progression becomes an absolute chore. The upgrades are often lackluster too. "Yay, my turrets get explosive resist. They now blow up to one rocket instead of one rocket!" Good thing levels 4 and up are rocket showers.
We should be getting max ammo by default and the Hellpod Optimization booster should grant us BONUS ammo
THIS GUY gets it! That's a GREAT idea. If I had to do a Helldive for real, I'd be duct taping some extra mags to my armor. You never know when you might need them.
Would it kill them to add a bestiary too? With like the weakness and strengths of every enemy and a little bit of lore

Since they nerfed our weapons, the grenade glitch was the way to buff ourselves.
I used the "Grenade Glitch" like CRAZY, but my reasoning was because the spawns/reinforcements were bugged. And the CEO now CCO admitted the Time To Kill was too high & combined with the increased enemy count - warranted usage of the bug IMO.

Normally, I'd say that this kind of thinking is lazy, but I had to have it explained to me exactly how to get to Wasat in a reasonable time frame. I was bashing my head against Aesir Pass for a good few missions before I realized most of the Western Front forces weren't deployed there.
So yeah, some better communication and information is called for, I think.

@@Ashbringer36try autocannon, or autocannon mech, or ESPECIALLY the jar-5 dominator if you talkin primaries, or the rocket pods/railcannon strike, and bring heavy armor with explosive resistance, stun grenades are great for securing accurate shots. Plenty of great options, you just gotta experiment
They should add a ship upgrade that allows you to deploy with max ammo. That way Hellpod optimization will still be good early, and fall off later the more hours you put in.
Super samples at level 6 is great because I main level 6 because I can't single level 7 and I have major connection issues when playing with a squad
I mostly play solo and duo because I have pretty shoddy internet so I don’t like to inconvenience randos with it. Right now, I’m capped at difficulty 4 for bugs and difficulty 3 for bots when I play solo, bump those up by one when I go with my duo partner. I just had to close out of the game when I was on a bot mission and for 25 minutes I couldn’t move from one location because of the sheer number of patrols that kept spawning right near me in the middle of a fight with the other four or five patrols I was already dealing with over and over. After over a month of not being able to play because of the On Ship glitch, coming back to this just is not fun. Im really hoping this patch makes the game an enjoyable challenge again because I loved my early days with it and I really don’t want to turn my back on it.

Btw on reddit, twinbeard posted about the patch, and someone replied saying that the new supply lines is gonna be awesome. Twinbeard himself replied to that and i quote "Kudos to Joel on that one. :)". So while it is possible that joel helped inplement this change and then left the company, it seems that joel is still there and AH is most probably just looking to bring in more help for the role.
They should keep the Infinite grenade glitch as long as Shield devastators and Striders can shoot through walls. If they hack, let us hack too. The amout of times you die to those is ridiculous.

The Level 7 and above are not fun to me and seems to be for many others as well. I personally enjoy bug squashing and feeling like a badass more than being tossed around like a ragdoll, so I farmed my super samples at level 7 with nothing but reluctance.
super samples are so easy to get, 6 a mission and if youre doing the whole map you almost always find them, its those damn rare samples we need more of 😩 you only need like 165 super samples to max out the ship, while you need like 1600 rares

That glitch was easy to do, but becomes a hazard to yourself spamming them. On top of that it felt like it glitched the round and made enemies do some weird stuff.

Major order/Major disorder - heres my thing the moment I have to " go to and external site, app or start downloading addons" to play the standard game to get information on how to do "this/that" then 90% of the time im going to go do something else. good to see that it's getting patched. hopefully with clear color coded lines to identify each type.

I did notice about half of the player base fighting on planets not associated with the MO, but what can you do when the Personal Order is to kill Terminids?! Counter Productive Orders make for slow progress.
4.46, ok, the system was not operating as intended. Not that they were jacking around spawns for the heck of it, but rather the spawns were unintentionally exponentially dropping off the fewer players were in the game, when it was supply to be coded as a linear drop.
Just because it seems to work better with an exponential drop does not mean it was not a bug.
And when they fixed it, they appear to have introduced a new big that maxed the spawn rates, regardless of how many players are actually in the game. Kind of a mess.
Which is also why they're spending extra time fixing it, because it is not simply a 'balance adjustment' It is a bug fix that broke horribly, and we really don't want to get the spawn rate broken again in a third even more wtf sort of way.
With more than half of the community vanishing after the last dogshit warbond HD2 feels like a diluted mess that probably will never recover . I can tell you I have no plans on playing HD2 unless they rebuff several of the primarys to be stronger then what they were before they nerf . 99% the next patch wont save or help re earn the trust arrowhead has shit on ...

Here's an Idea for buffing/revamping the Hellpod Space Optimization Booster: New Divers spawn with a random unlocked Support Weapon equipped (not restricted to their chosen loadout). That way, if you die and don't have access to your gear, you at least will drop with something that might help you fend off threats until you can get your gear back.
Or maybe don't go running back into Death to get your gear? Sometimes it's really not worth it. Run away, kill what you can and call in a new support weapon.
@@MLPIceberg To be fair, sometimes, if you die and your teammate throws out a reinforce in a poor location, the hellpod may end up surrounded by enemies anyways, and you can death spiral quite easily in those circumstances because your primary and secondary alone just cannot handle the enemies near you.
It's mostly for situations like that where I'm making this suggestion, that and for missions like Defence or Extermination, where the arena is quite small, and room to work with and run around in/avoid enemies in is fairly small. Spawning with an MG, or an AMR, or a Grenade Launcher would make it much easier to at least clear some chaff or heavier threats near you until you can get a chance to drop your actual kit again.
I've got mixed feelings about the nutty spawns being 'fixed'.

Glad to see super samples on lvl 6 and pats being reverted. I run trios and it made no sense that we would get pat after pat especially when we had taken out most of or all of the bug holes.

@@BrianStings we did. we’ve been playing together just fine since march but right after the Meridia event it’s all been messed up. Friend requests do nothing. I’ve toggled crossplay off/on and still nothing. We can still play together if one of us enters a mission on an unpopular planet and the other tries to join that lobby. Sometimes takes 20min to find the mission because it isn’t always available. We have to keep jumping to another planet and back until it shows up.
Pretty sure Joel Hakalax still works at Arrowhead, according to his LinkedIn account anyway. I've heard they have multiple game masters, not just Joel.
Primary weapons don't need to have massive damage, if they add debuffs to targets that soften them up for Orbital and Eagle strikes. There isn't enough synergy between status effects and damage in the game. Raw damage - by itself - becomes boring. Arc throwers could have a 20% chance to cause fire damage, for example.
I’m really excited for the spear tracking fix, I just played last night doing the bot mission and my team was getting drowned in bot drops doing the drill mission, im talking we activate the drill and 6 ships come in no exaggeration which I guess is a lil wild for suicidal mission difficulty, I digress. But I had the spear and it didn’t lock onto any of the hulks for the mission so I just spend the whole mission with a fully loaded spear on my back while my teammate burned in front of me 😪

For me I was at lvl 6 for about a few days after joining but then got pulled into lvl 9 on meridia with a friend never went back down
Don't sleep on the plas-01 though you need the supply pack to keep your mags up.
The fact that half or more of the remaining player base just hates fighting the bots, and I can't blame them. The bugs the bots get to take advantage of make fighting them absolutely unfun... And that lower difficulty bot missions are harder than higher difficulty bug missions because of the mentioned bugs and just the fact that 90% of the bot units are medium armored which limits your loadout options(don't even get me started on the AA effect and all the other stratagem interference...) Don't see us completing this major order.
The amount of time the bots spawn or walk into objects that I can’t shoot through , but they CAN really pisses me off. Bugs don have this problem

Over 400 hours in and stopped playing. Most of the weapons that were fun for me got nerfed or messed up in some way.
I loved playing bots when the eruptor came out, but now every single mission turn out the same with the exact same loadout that is boring as shit but efficient. If the don't rebalance weapons I'm not coming back, and most of my friends also.
That increased reinforcement and flexible reinforcement booster is good for extermination missions. We will die a lot during those missions, from enemies and our mortars. definitely not for long 40 min missions though.
I’ve been playing RDR2 online for the trophies this past few weeks. Taking a break from HD2 in the meantime. I did hop in to destroy Meridia though. I’m excited that I’m almost done with the trophies in RDR2 online and can get back to helping liberate planets in greater frequency.
If they "unfix" the Eruptor I may consider returning... otherwise... I'm all but tapped out on HD2. I still love the game but I got fatigued of the incredible nerf-streak of all that was fun. Let them work for their fame now and see if they can deliver.

Strategic Guidance needs to be refined to give scouting reports 9n what we might see in the map. Such as heavy tanks or dogs more in frequency. Or sightings of bile spewers.
Player count fluctuating as much as it is means there's no telling if we will win this one. One day the game will max at 40k players and the next day have 120k. I hope we will succeed but it's a tough one to tell rn

Boosters can wait until they add armor bonus variety. Missed opportunity on weapon modding, missed it on armor modding...just overall missed opportunities abound. Balance team definitely deserves a good thrashing too.

Not unlocking, buying, diving until the Eruptor is fixed. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. I just check in until I see that my favorite primary is back to its original state. Otherwise I've got plenty of other games to play.
Yeah I predict almost all major orders failing as there is a serious disconnect between what we see as fun vs what the devs think
I felt like the patrols even on 4 man got worse. I doubt that they even know what is screwed up, cause it varies so widely by mission also.
I highly doubt we'll see success with any upcoming automaton orders. People just don't like them as much as bugs. Every time we switch to bots, there's a good 20k to 40k players that stay on bugs no matter what. If you flip that situation, almost everyone goes to bugs, leaving about 5k - 10k players on bots at most. It's just the reality of the situation and I think the devs need to recognize that and adjust accordingly.
I never understood why they kept throwing more and more guns at us when they couldn't balance what we already had.

what is THE best single eagal stratagem for solo players? I use the 500kg mostly but am wondering if there's something better I could be using...
instead of the 500kg, i usually enjoy the bombing run one. multi use, more uses per load, wider coverage, can't miss as easily since it sweeps left to right or right to left from where you tossed it.

We'd be completing this M.O. lickity split if a certain FTL-fuel-securing majority of the playerbase actually helped at Aesir Pass. We'd still have that SEAF Facility and the bonuses that apply but the UI leaves out so much info that it can be hard as hell understanding what means what, how to get where, and where the war effort is being directed. Hopefully this patch will at least address the biggest issues.
You know what's funny is eventually when this game finally dies there's going to be a whole bunch of glitches left in there that they're not going to patch anymore so what's the point

Patrol/Spawnrate has been keeping me hesitant to host missions. Yes, more players will come, but until they do, it's me vs the horde alone, for who knows how long. I know, some players solo Helldives, get good, etc. But c'mon. Some of us aren't that good yet, and maybe want to relax.
All AR’d and DMR’s should have medium armor pen with DMR’s having 20-25 rounds with ten mags and all AR’s having 45-60 round mags with 12 magazines. Energy weapons will always be lacking imo until they come out with a full auto plasma weapon with heat sinc and not a limited capacity (like the bots have. Let us reverse engineer it)

Hate to say it but that just solidifies the uselessness of it (atm). It only brings value one time, after you get the achievement you pretty much wouldn't use it.

Yeah, I'm probably not gonna play in this new major order. Bots are just too tedious and annoying to fight.
Like for example.using the auto cannon.
It takes at most two shots to take out a bug guard and three for nursers, one shot if you hit them in the head.
They also spawn in much less numbers.
But compare that to somthing like a berserker, which are much smaller, harder to stagger, faster and harder two hit, take three each and come out you by the dozen, while you can't actually shoot them because there are two heavy devistators and three rocket devistators posted up watching you.
And
And a jet pack raider runs right up two you but you can't shoot them or every one around you will die, so you have to try and run from them but you can't because they are faster then you.
Btw, it takes up two 4 shots from both the punisher and autocannon at close range to bring down a berserker.
Let that sink in, buckshot = 20mm high explosive artillery shell.
It's just two badly balanced to even bother with.
