    It proves how a good will become the best when it's free.
    Keep up independent guys.
    Hope you'll always stay good on your purpose and will be stronger on it everyday.

    My eyes just popped out with love after watching this quick tut. So this is just a bite of how a full animation is made. I can't believe this is how The Walt Disney Company swings stick in the air like crazy to produce my fav cartoons. Great job guys, I suck at the beginner level but with constant practice and dedication, I will some years to come to make cool animations/films like this that is my prayer. Can we contribute to making SPRING a full animation cos am already buying the idea of this short animation?

    What kind of motion capture device did they use for the character? I wonder. interesting.

    • @Apollo-io7wl
      @Apollo-io7wl 5 лет назад +2

      They didn't. They rig the model, then animate it pose by pose on a timeline. The computer does everything in between one pose and another.

      @@moviedudes5387 You might notice that footage used in a motion capture animated film or cutscene has people with red or green dots attached to their limbs and face. These represent joints, and there are many on the face to accurately capture facial expressions. This guy has none of those. It's actually a common thing for both animated and live action films to act out the thing and record it before animating/filming the final scene. This gives them a general idea of what the movements will look like and how they should be done. In other words, filming a live action test for reference is very different from using the exact movements from the person in motion capture. A good way to get an idea of this "pose to pose" animation that they use in this film is to look up some progress videos of animations in smaller programs like Source Filmmaker. While most blender videos focusing on the process highlight the lighting and grading more than the animation, videos on SFM will often focus exclusively on rigging and the pose to pose animation. There are only a few MoCap films out there, (Polar Express, Mars Needs Moms, etc.) and the budget for them actually higher than most other animated films

      @@moviedudes5387 In addition, if you examine the live action footage closely enough, you'll notice that there are 3 cuts in the footage, while the animation is smooth. This would be impossible to fix using only motion capture. Also, it is possible to do motion capture without those joints, but the results would not be nearly enough for a studio quality animation like this one. Just take a look at the horrendous failure that was Xbox Kinect. That's the closest you will get to an example of motion capture without attaching visible "joints" to the person.

    Creators please answer for my question
    Q : How many members how much is spent for this movie making ?

    • @krishnateja8192
      @krishnateja8192 5 лет назад +1

      Bro..i think more than 20-25 members for modeling , rigging, anim, texturing, rendering, lighting,dynamics, pre and post production....to make such film's we need to have high performance computer's which costs more than 2-3 or more... mainly for rendering and animations

      okay, hold up, this may be hard to do, but this can still be done on mid to lower end hardware, it's just that it'll take more time.
