#DC #Daredevil - Развлечения
Daredevil is so underrated! He's one of the greatest crime fighters/vigilantes in Marvel
Agreed
daredevil is my favorite superhero of all time I'm gonna get the d and d tattooed on my back
midwaygamer98118 he is also my favorite superhero of all time
Exactly
Me too
Not only the turtles and daredevil both got their powers at the same time, but both fight similar ninja groups in New York,
Dare Devil fights the Hand.
While the turtles fight the Foot.
maxwell jones I am hoping someone will fight the head
IvanPena ! The head is no match against the Torso.
Oh? All of them combined can't even lay a finger on The full body.
Additionally there senseis are Stick and Splinter.
The body part named organizations will come together like Voltron. "I'll form... a foot!" "I'll form... a hand!"
that moment when you realize that the tv show nailed the origins
The tv show is amazing and the fight scenes are so well done
@@dr.stevebrule4029 everything abt the series is perfect
Ben Lingan hate that it’s canceled
@@rabbit557 it might be coming back on Disney Plus.
@@BasketCase420 guess what
DD is my favorite Marvel hero! He's been through a lot. Pushed to the brink, physically and mentally. But he always comes back. He lives his life to the best of his ability. Matt Murdock is an inspiration to me. He doesn't let his blindness stop him. As a man with mild cerebral palsy, I certainly can relate to that.
This isn't about Spidey. He is a bit after DD.
Vincent Franklin guess you haven’t heard of Moon knight
@@toji7 Yes. I have. He's interesting, but not DD.
I wrote to you on your other comment about you having a DD tattoo, but if you didnt see it I will just say here, that first of all sounds like a cool tattoo, and dont you feel like superheroes inspore you to do things and help you through rough times? Greetings
Spiderman is the best
Im a DC fan but hands down, Neflix's *Daredevil* made me a fan of the character. Just well written and awesome fighting scenes.
He feels like he’s DC coded honestly ngl
Daredevil and the Ninja Turtles were created in the same accident? You don't say... :P
The hand ninja clan and the foot ninja clan..?!
***** Stick and Splinter
dantoon25 Shredder and Fisk are both leaders of an organised crime mob
that's kind of weird
what company owns the tmnt comics
i am a DC fan but daredevil is the most orginal hero ive seen and i like that he has a weakness not like some other heroes cuz that makes him even better!
If he has super sensitive feeling then pain should be crippling. And sex must be awesome.
Facts.
Ma man
Indeed
I was actually just thinking about the other day (well, the pain thing).
Pain is already crippling and sex is already awesome.
the TMNT were inspired by daredevil and a few other characters as well. the creators of the ninja turtles said they were a parody of the greatest comic characters at the time, daredevil being one of them.
After the show daredevil has become my favorite Marvel superhero of all time he truly mirrors Batman in a way. Frank Miller is a genius greatest comic writer of all time
All-Star Batman and Robin would like to tell you otherwise.
Daredevil born again is a absolute masterpiece.
Absolutely, the Kingpin doing everything he can to crush one man
"Hell's Kitchen is my neighborhood. I prowled the rooftop and alleyways at night, watching from the darkness. Forever in darkness. A guardian devil." - Matt Murdock
you missed to recommend the Bendis/Maleev run which I consider the best run along with Miller.
i said the samething!
Agreed!
The creators of TMNT actually admitted that the comics started off as a homage to Daredevil and Frank Miller in general. The Turtles are ninjas (like Daredevil), have the same origin, are trained by Splinter (a parody of Daredevil's mentor Stick) and face off a against the the Foot (who are even more obviously parodies of the Hand). So it's no coincidence at all that there are similarities.
Daredevil's red-devil suit, grappling-hook billy-club cable, double-D insignia, visualization of the radar sense, and more created by WALLACE "Wally" WOOD
DD is the man in MARVEL
In addition to the books arris mentioned, I also recommend Daredevil: Guardian Devil, Daredevil: The Man Without Fear by Brian Michael Bendis, and Shadowland.
I actually like the movie. Its no masterpiece and a bit cheesy, but it got me interested in the character.
31FilmTalk Same here.
The Movie got me into Daredevil. So hi the three of us have something in common
and yes I like the movie
Frank Miller is the sole reason I got into Daredevil.
me too. not to say there isn't other amazing daredevil runs. Brian Michael Bendis did a great job with the character, as well as Mark Waid, Kevin Smith, David Mack and others.
Liam Baillargeon Heck, it was Ann Nocenti that got me into DD the first time around. Granted, her writing probably would've been more at home on DC's Vertigo imprint but she did introduce us fans to Typhoid Mary (one of my all-time favorite "psycho" comic book characters to date) as well as giving the main character one of those rare "road trips" away from Hell's Kitchen for a welcome change of pace at the time.
Quiet as kept, I think Stan Lee wishes he had written DD in the same crime noir context Miller excelled at when he finally got his hands on the character in the late-70s/early-80s period. I also agree with you on the Bendis/Maleev run. I enjoyed that one immensely and hope that team gets to tackle more projects together no matter the title. Some pairings were simply meant to be...
:-)
+Bane391 To be honest ive seen the film wached the documentary but its this series that got me really into daredevil the daredevil netflix series got me into comics i got inlaite on the game with that character but he has quickly became my 2nd fav superhero to my number 1 spidey.
+TechNOGeek Reviewz I totally agree, the DD netflix show is amazing
+PeekaPeep I haven't gotten around to reading Ann Nocenti's DD yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for marvel to re-release the whole run.
History of Moon Knight and History of Dr. Doom would be cool.
He is a very good lawyer!
Love that intro
***** reminds me a nice part of my childhood thanks!!!
VariantComics who would win in a hand to hand fight, daredevil or batman?
+VariantComics who do you think would win in a hand to hand fight, daredevil or batman?
dardevil is the best!
when he mentioned TMNT, my mind was BLOWN!
AdeP settle down
History of Spider-Man's villain The Shocker
No
Yes
I had a shocker action figure growing up and I never knew who it was so I pretended he was the human torches father
Shocking comment
The Shocker! I'm going to look that up on urban dictionary. I wonder what it will say...
badass the Batman of marvel
Thad lindor he's like a blind combination of Nightwing and Batman
Adeyinka Mayungbe
Hehehe....”blind”......
Moon Knight is more like Batman than Daredevil.
Jalushun yeah
Adeyinka Mayungbe exactly
History of the x men would be cool
Yes
Lo Jo they're mutants , done
Josh Fitton No, not every Mutant is a X-Men Member. We would like to see how Magneto and Xavier formed the Xmen and recruited Wolverine, Iceman etc.
Bass Lightyeah But all X-Men are mutants. While I get what you're saying, Josh is still technically correct.
***** because the other 2 x men cant make it ?
The Netflix series is coming out on my birthday
***** Did you watch it yet? maybe do a One shot review?
Yemi Ibrahim Happy late Birthday
Yemi Ibrahim You got quite the birthday gift then. That show is phenomenal!
Vincent D'Onofrio was amazing in Daredevil! You should do a history of Kingpin.
From what I heard, the writer of TMNT really liked Daredevil and wanted to pay homage to the character by adding that scene of the boy saving the blind guy. Also by referencing the ninja clan The Hand that Daredevil often fought against by naming Shredders ninjas from TMNT The Foot.
I originally thought his yellow suit was ugly but it really grew on me when reading.
Did that last guy say Deadman? He's DC.
***** *get it
*****
Don't get it.
Bat Bapeck Oh, man! I must replayed that part ten times! Makes me laugh. Also, if you activate the subtitles, which viewed throughout are pretty hilarious at times, he says "orange did men."
Joshua Grajeda The dude here, technically the twitter message was just "Tell us in a video response what comic book character you'd like to get his their own movie". Glad I could make you laugh, though! :D
Joshua Grajeda Oh wait, no, I just can't read.
Greatest and most morally complex character in comics. If not, he's at least up there with Punisher.
Just read through The Man Without Fear again last night, and it has held up, but I've never liked the fact that Matt accidentally killed a woman and then just got to continue on with the rest of his life with that never being investigated.
Daredevil is probably my favourite Marvel character! So interesting and compelling.
thanks Arris, daredevil has always been one of my personal favorites. I think its because he's one of the most reglious superheroes out there.
can't wait for season 3
I can't wait either but one problem, the 3rd season won't release till 2018 same for Jessica jones
I read Man Without Fear and Yellow. Both were pretty good books. Born Again is on deck, but I was wondering if it's worth it going for the Bendis run? I know most say Miller's run is the most essential though.
Chandasouk Bendis's run is quite essentially imo the greatest run of the last decade. It was incredible and I can definitely tell the show takes a lot of inspiration from it. Without a doubt the most badass, darkest and hardcore version of the character to date
and you also help me get through tuff times. when i am sad stressed or depressed i will watch you videos . your joke also are great
Could you do a history of Nick fury senior? I dont know much about him at all and find these videos highly imformative
History of Inhumans please :)
Yeah I heard of a movie on them but I have no idea who they are
chase brady They are the reason Agents of Shield is amazing
chase brady Watch Agents of SHIELD. (Although it's important to watch the whole series, the Inhumans don't really play a part until season 2.)
Logan Palmer
History of Nightcrawler
Yes
I'm surprised how close the series stocked to the book.
"Horn Head" has always been one of this comic nerd`s personal favorites.
i absolutely love Daredevil show on Netlix . just finished season 2 :) ive grown to love this character in the marvel universe and he is indeed underrated.
nah ever since the mcu version came out hes been overrated
+rexthedog4 popular = overrated
Badabing Bing true, but people have always overrated his abilities and what he can do and stuff like that
+rexthedog4 it's way over board with batmeng
Badabing Bing wut ?
History Of Arries Quinones! LOL
God bless it I'm watching this over 5 years after it was put up. And he( the host, I cant spell his name lol) looks so much younger lol makes me feel so old
Thanks, once again.
This channel is awesome.
Matt Murdock, was one of my top five favorites as a kid.
This made my day
History of bullseye please!!
Is it an odd coincidence that I have a blind friend who has a birthday on April 10th and the Daredevil series premiered on April 10th?
i'd love to learn more about sentry as he seems like an interesting character that i haven't personally heard too much about
Wow great video you covered so much about Daredevil can't wait to see more.
Daredevil verses batman who would win?
Jalen Jones 50 50
Batman is stronger
Smarter and has the tech
But dd is faster
More agile
And has insane endurance
Master Oshawott I am smarter. Man I am lawyer and I think. I am detective vigilante.
Red- Man I wouldn’t say stronger, daredevil has been shown to lift stuff around 5 tons.
My favorite superhero.
Wow, this video was awesome! Thanks for the video Arris!
My son and I have just started watching the Netflix series. After only three episodes, we're hooked. So far, the shows are very good.
The Daredevil show is awesome
Aaron Habib well yea its great
Brick catching star
One of the most badass superheroes in all of comics and criminally underrated.
wow amazing been wanting a video about daredevil for ages thanks man learnt so much :)
read bendis daredevil over mark waid
I'm gonna be "that guy"
You can beat DareDevil with a fart.
that . . . is probably true
Nah, just don't shower for a week.
Josh Gardiner Oh, if you only knew....
That's dangerous.
Old tacos and old burritos.
Great job Arris. I loved DD's last story arc; Shadowland. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Daredevil.
What i love here are the recomendations! And history! Thanks
Superboy or Superboy Prime origin please
You're probably gonna have to wait until this month is over
I know stupid successful marvel movies :"(
Torrence Sampson He'll probably do the same thing for DC in March next yr for Batman v Superman. So there is hope
Torrence Sampson well he said he would do this for a month before age of ultron plus It makes sense since daredevil is coming out soon
Alejandro333777 Alyssa_I I know I just wish March will hurry up >:(
History of Inhumans.
I have no clue who they are.
Inhumans rule
Could you do a Q&A video. Except you answer specific questions about anything about comics? I think it would be really great! :)
That's the best, funniest, and most truthful description of the Electra movie, that i have ever seen.
Like I said many times before regardless will people say and think about the movie Elektra I happen to love & enjoyed that movie.
Can you guys please oh please make these videos like 15 to 20 mins
I first heard about Daredevil from this after school special on HBO in the 90s called Life stories families in crisis the Joey Dipalo story about this kid with HIV and he and his friends were fans of Daredevil, they were chanting his epilogue and calling him the man without fear
Thank you so much, just started watching the Daredevil series on Netflix. Proper good, didn't know what to expect but having never read the Comics I didn't have any expectations haha. Highly enjoyable, Thank You for this summary also, adds to the show a lot
Batman has lie detection skills
DD can detect it from the person's heartbeat, Batman does it through body language. I guess they equal out somehow lol.
nice shirt
Awesome episode, Arris! Daredevil is my absolute favorite superhero. Just one thing: You gotta put Bendis and Maleev's run in there with the reading recommendations. :)
Initially I wasn't too interested in the new Netflix series as I knew very little about DD, but now that I've seen this, I'm pretty excited about the show. Thanks Arris
#SAVEDAREDEVIL
Still waiting for a new season 😔
finally watching this video after finishing the DD series on Netflix, guess he predicted pretty well 6 years ago
Daredevil is easily my favorite superhero. A blind superhero is such a cool idea! I haven’t seen the Netflix show but I have this book with I think the first 11 issues of daredevil in it? He’s just such an interesting character and I hope they make a marvel legends version of his yellow and black design, with the double D
How about a Stick origin so we seee how he came to be
Jason Garcia good one
Actually with that whole ninja turtles daredevil same day same chemicals accident that theory goes further cause dare devil fights the ninja club the hand and the ninja turtles fight the foot hmmmmmm
Yes, finally! I've been asking for this video for two years!!
Another excellent episode from Variant Comics! Definitely going to check out the Frank Miller stories...
Please do punisher
Imperial JTK that would be cool, it would also be cool if they went back in time and unmade that crappy tom jane punisher movie
Ooohhh God
They are adding a teenage version of him, Elektra and the rest of the Defenders to the "Avengers Academy" game soon...
First comic I bought was Daredevil. His red costume was just iconic. I cannot wait how Marvel will do with the character.
Wait is The Spot! a DD villain or a spiderman Villain? I cant remember
thank you. hope you do a history of him :)
charles paul Actually he is both.
As far as i've read Spot fought DD in Mark Waids run.
he was in waids comic and dd defeated him pretty easily
Th3chazz he was in a spiderman cartoon
#savedaredevil
I would also recommend the bendis run of daredevil. Great read
History of Black Panther, Red Hulk, Silver Surfer and The Sentry! Please do more History of Villians!! Like Sinestro, Black Adam, Two-Face, Killer Croc!!
Anybody else feel out of breath? I think he was talking a little fast in this video lol. Great info though!
Thanks that was really helpful Daredevil is my favorite super hero and there are a lot of comics so I wanted the whole story
Daredevil is way underrated. He ' s awesome. And I actually like the movie too despite some negative ratings
just realised that BlackBolt would absolutely wreck Daredevil HAHAHA
Matt Murdock A lot of heroes would tbh. He's still amazing though
Who the fuck are you ?!
After the awesomeness of the Daredevil series and knowing there will be others, could you do a History of Iron Fist some time in the future? Don't know much about the character but would love to!
YES! YES! I've so happy you finally did this Arris. I wish you would have given Bendis Volume 1-3 in the recommendations instead of Waid but it's whatever.
I always wondered how he got to be so acrobatic, great video.
LeftDown RightUpGaming well yea it makes it seem like anybody could become him
You forgot a point !! "He's a good lawyer"!!
Arris can you please a History of The Defenders I am dying for it. Thanks for all the Episodes awesome big fan never miss an episode.
