Been dailying a 2014 RS5 for a year and a half now and it’s amazing. It’s stupid reliable and turns heads everywhere I go. It’s also quite rare here in the US. It's like my Mini Cooper S, it has a lovely deep burble, especially on a cold start and yet so many owners have replaced a perfectly good exhaust with a louder one. It's hardly to increase power as my car has more than enough oomph for British roads. I assume they have the shouty exhausts so as to turn heads but I'd hate people looking at my car for that reason. I have had quite a few people approach me in car parks to say they love my car. It's a black cooper S with Cadbury purple accents. The colours look brilliant together.
I found your videos from your meeting with Richard Hammond a month or so ago, now I’ve worked my way through nearly all of them when night feeding and looking after my new born son. Golf R is my fav playlist and I’ve never had the opportunity to enter a competition until now on this RS5. I’m in the U.S and I am up to my second B8 and B8.5. I’m not fronting like I had or have an S5 or RS5 but I have the lower end B8 mainly cause I am married and my wife is no Hanna. She just don’t share my joys in a manual Audi. Anyway I crashed my 2011 S Line 6 speed and went to a 2020 TLX a crappy Automatic. I never stopped watching ur channel, in fact I would watch ur videos over and over missing my 6 speed Audi. Finally after 3 years of driving these useless automatics (except my manual commuter car Accord Coupe) I am back In a fun 2015 S Line Coupe and it’s a manual. Your channel kept reminding me of how much I love these B8.5…. I don’t have the Big Boy motor but I’m in something that I love to drive and your channel kept hope alive for me. I can’t do it all in one shot but ur builds are how I want my car looking and I hope to live long enough to see it through. I appreciate you and your channel.
